Wet Wendsday

Hellooooooo, I am so happy cos I ve just come home from work,had a yummy tea,there aren t any outstanding jobs to do around the house(very unusual) I ve got a day off tmrrw., so all in all Happy Day!!!LoL. I ve made another card for the july challenge over on UKS,and I just LOVE IT!! well I would do I ve made it but no seriously it is sooo my kind of card love the image by Rubber Romance and I love the papers BG infuse collection. I ve also added some stickles to the papers for extra sparkle. I ve also given her a bling ring and some bling on her shoes lol,so all in all pretty blingy.
Now just have to say THANK YOU all very much for all your lovely comments you are leaving me, I apreciate every one of them. Off now to see what s on the telly I will upload some more goodies tmrrw. if I manage to meke some. See ya

Wet monday ..AGAIN !!!

Hello, I am sick and tired of this weather but I m not gonna go on and on about it cos at least we are lucky and our house is not under water as so very many are across the country....my heart goes out to all those people that are faced with the nightmare of loosing everything to water....terrible!!!
You know when you are lucky enough to make a friend by total accident? Well that thing happened to me recently, I ve ended up buying something from this seller over on ebay(USA) and this lady(a SU demonstrator) was selling a lot of her SU stuff, so email her regarding shipping and......the rest like they say is history.We ended up swapping emails for ages and we just clicked shes such a sweetheart. Anyway through her I ve managed to get my greasy mitts on the latest SU catalog..and is juuuust delish!!! Touble is now I want most of it..lol. So Cindy watch out...for my angry hubby lol.
I ve also received some of the goodies I ve ordered last week and I m in love with the Samantha collection by Crate Paper so much so that I had to play straight away and created this for the DCM latest challenge wich was set by Lynne, and here it is

So I ve created this with my new yummy papers of course...I ve used the Happy Hearts from Stampin Up, to stamp and emboss the hearts onto the paper that is actually the packaging havent cut the proper papers yet!!!then I ve popped them into the faux stitched vellum pocket with foam pads for added dimension. Some pretty lace a Papertray Ink sentiment and that s it !!Oh also I ve used my sizzix embossing folder for the small dots.Ok off to cook tea and have another browse in that fabulos catalog andf put a order in. GROMIT!!!!!

Look at what I ve been up to yesterday!!! Isn t it just the cutest cake ever? I love it and so did the customer I ve had some very praising comments from them,is a good job as it took the best part of 6 hours to make. And he evens have a bowl full of water for when ..well for when he gets thirsty..lol.I ve been so very naughty this whole week. Let me explain..all I ve done for the last few weeks was drooling over the expected new realeases over in the states at CHA,yummy papers ,rub ons,gorgeous chipboard and lots of othere yummies ...you get the idea, so now after all the hype and lots of mental notes(must get that!!..ooooooooooohhhh that looks like is so my style will have to get that etcetera etcetera) finally is all been released and I just went for it,boy did I!! Big time!!spent loads got the new Love Elsie ranges,Basic Grey,Crate papers,7Gypsies,Crate and I m sure theres loads more,so now I m just awaiting them eagerly and praying I m not gonna be hit too hard by custom charges!!
Well I ve done a layout last night,it was a rushed one as I ve realised pretty late on that it was my friend s little girl birthday and I didn t made her a card,so I ve printed some pictures I ve had on my puter from a day out,and took the weekly challenge from UKS,wich was
use 6,9 or 19 buttons or flowers
use chipboard or bling
leave some white or black space
use circles.........................................................................so this is what I ve done
She was thrilled with it bless her,I however I m a bit annoyed as I ve used diamond glaze over the chipboard star and handwriting,but of course my slick writer run out last week(I ve got a shrpie on his way)consequently last night I used a bog standard fine liner,completely forgot put the glaze over it and of course by this morning it all smudged a bit.Is not too bad is a little soft around the edges but I much prefered it sharp.Oh well....... she really like d it!!
Off I go now to get a nice bath and an early night I think,unless I get trapped on the net ..AGAIN lol!!! SEE ya!

For God sakes!!! TEHCHNOLOGY....

GUYS I m back!!! I can t belive it!! Had to change my browser to Firefox as I was on AOHELL before,have tried Explorer and still nothing,so thank you LEIGH (Claudias new hubby) for sugesting it to me.YOU ROCK!! and I can post piccies again LOL,happy days. Right the weekend went pretty quick we managed to make a trip to Leeds on friday to visit a relative who s extremely poorly,then we went out for dinner on sat.at a lovely country pub and I ve had the most delicious swordfish with a sweet chilli sauce thinghie,followed by yum yum banofee pie..very nice indeed. Then on saturday I ve cooked a roast dinner(first one this summer as is just to hot to,but this sat wasn t) and like I alaways do, I ve made some yorkshire puddings, now as I took them out the oven I fetched my camera and started snapping away when I ve heard Pete.."What the hell are you doing?" I answered.."I m thaking some photos of the puds for my blog", his face said it all and the shake of the head confirmed it!! LOL.Sooooooo would you like to see my yorkies? Here they areIs official: I M A DOMESTIC GODDESS!!! What do you think? Not bad for a foreigner ,but I am an adopted yorkshire lass after all.
So after a delish dinner some tidying up and a walk, it was time to go up to the craft room(Pete was watching some rugby game) and make something. I m alaways making cards and pages but never ever something I can actually use,so while up there I was trying to find yet another jar or something that could hold my new set of SU watercolours I m waiting to come from US,inspiration struck!! I ve realised I could actually make a holder even a pretty one if I tried hard LOL. Now ages ago I ve seen a simple box made from 4 beer mats(coasters). And I ve got some of those left from a mini book I once tried to make and didn t,and decided to give it go.So I ve started on covering the sides with some pretty paper and one that preferably didn t have FOSTERS on lol,punched my holes and all that but then..I thought how could I make little compartments for it,you know instead of just the boring four sides box,and my sock and ties drawer gave me the answer.Now I can t explain to you in words what is like, but you ve seen those many times I m sure and they just slot one into the other,and you re left with those cute compartments.So that s what I did and do you know what? I love it!! I think I ve fiddled with it a bit too long tho cos it ended up a bit tatty at the edges but I ll know next time won t I? Anyway here it is my cutie.I m off now cos I m making a birthday cake that needs to be finished by tmrrw.you must check back to see soem pictures cos I can add pictures to my blog you know lol.See ya

NOOOooooooooooooooo

I can t belive it!! Blogger won t let me upload any pictures to my bog!!! I don t know why it was fine last time,and I haven t fiddle with it since,so do you know why? If you do could you please please pretty please drop me a comment? Mono chromatic challenge

Hello guys!!Had a day off today and I ve finished a page for the house challenge over on UKS.It was a double challenge and the criteria was to use your house and a monochromatic colour scheme.So last week I ve been taking photos from around my house not being quite sure how I m gonna do it one thing I was sure about tho,the mono scheme was gonna be an easy one as my house is all decorated in neutral tones,wich is really unusual as I m in love with COLOUR!!I only ever wear colour(very,very rarely black)I love using colour in my projects,and bright colours make me HAPPY!!really really HAPPY!!!But when it comes to my home is a diferent story.I ve tried over the years to live with colour but I just can t do it!!I revert back to my trusted soothing neutral tones without fail every time!!Even my scraproom is neutral,is only my work thats brighten the place up.So printed the photos off and set to work,I ve printed my own background paper using a few diferent shades of brown and creams,I ve used the the DILL stamp from Hero Arts and stamped it with white moonglow ink on chocolate brown cardstock,then I took some taupe cardstock and stamped some dotty circles in dif.colours,then inked a chipboard shape and took it from there...so not to bore you further,here it is the finished LO

Well I ve watched BB tonight after all the hype with the fake eviction...and my God that Charly is something else,how on Earth can anybody be so self absorbed and nasty?All I ve got to say is that I can put money on it that she will not change,not even after Channel 4 made it clear just how wrong she s been behaving.Ok I ll go to bed now if I don t end up spending half the night blog hopingLOL.See ya!!

CIAO BELLA!!

Blimey two posts in one given day!!While away I ve had a few shipments from the US amongst wich were a load of bellas and fellas that i ve ordered so last night I made a few cards,as I wanted to make one for july carmaking challenge on UKS.

I ve used some Daisy D papers,watercolours to colour bella s bags(I ve used BG cardstock to piece the outfit)even recycled some pakaging,the scalloped corner is actually part of the box that my paper tray stamps came in.A few accents and stamped borders and....voila!!I love those little stamp they so cute for girly cards and I ve got some fellas so keep your eyes open I might attempt some bloke cards.

By far the most exciting post was my ribbon share form this lady,I m just addicted to ribbon,I know that lots of people like ribbon but I m serious when I say I have got lots and I don t like using it !!!If you look on all my project I alaways tend to use the tinniest amount possible,as for nice special ones ....NEVER!!So I m showing you what came through the door,I nearly wet my pants when I ve opened the bag lol.YUM hey?ok I m off to bed as I m in work tmrrw.see ya!

WE are back!!

Well we got back sunday morning,but of course since we got back all time was eaten by the boring stuff that comes after a holiday,you know endless washing then worrying how on earth is all gonna get dry (thunderstorms and hail stones we had on sunday)ironing blah blah blah!!
Anyway an absolutely great time was had by all,it was a very relaxing holiday,we were blessed with blue clear skies every single day,really hot during the day but because of the constant breeze it meant we were not uncomfortably hot at all.So great weather,great food,great accomodation,great company.........ok ok it was just GREAT!!!lol



Right then while I was away I ve been tagged by this talented lady here(!!*%$£"lol)what???I ve not got a clue what to do next and deffinately don t know who to tagg in return (I ve got to send it to 7 other people that blog).Now don t get me wrong I haunt about 50 blogs quite regulary but I know nothing about blog etiquette ,I mean would you not offend people if out of the blue you tagg them?Anyway I have to enumerate 7 facts about myself,so here it goes
