Hello there how are you today? Things must getting better I am blogging for the 2nd time this week, yahooo.
Before I start sharing my project with you I want to let you know that there are ONLY 2 PLACES LEFT in my next Virtual Hostess club. You got to be quick, is also worth noting that I am revamping the way I run those clubs so you will get MUCH MORE than before. You will love having a little package drop on your door step every month. Read more about the clubs HERE then contact me to reserve your spot.
Ok I have a sweet card to show you today, it was made for a Christening hubs attended a few weeks back.
Now I had this set for a while and never used it, is so beautiful and perfect for what I needed, I was glad I had it put it this way LOL.
I love the sentiments included as well. Colours used are my beloved Sage Shadow, Bashful Blue and Basic Grey. It is a simple, clean design, the dove was stamped twice once of my white layer then secondly stamped cut out and popped on dimensionals.
I did curl the edges inwards slightly before placing down on top of the stamped image.
I have used the Large Brid Punch to add a branch for the dove to perch on and the small embellie was made using the Boho Blossom punch and a circle punched shape held together with a crystal brad.
The bashful blue striped grosgrain contrasts beautifully with the bashful blue ink on the dove.
I hope you like my offering today than k you for all your comments regarding my last video, only a few days till next one is due.
Till then Big hugs xxxx

Stampin'Up! Video Monday, The Packing tape technique
Helloooooooo there !! How are you all? did you enjoy a nice weekend? we didn't do much just caught up with a few household chores etc.
I have started creating Christmas projects for a while now but this is the first Christmas video of the year.
This was my swap at our training team event and it uses very little stamping. The packing tape technique is a fave technique of mine and I love using it as I love punches lots.
Combo is a really lovely one, Not Quite Navy and a bit of Bashful Blue, I love this colour is a nice interesting petrol blue like colour.
The little tag from the Tiny Tags stamp makes for such a sweet accent, I love this set if you haven't got it get in on your wish list NOW and don't forget the matching punch.
Here's a more closer shot of the card
Just how cute is that little tag? the thread I used on the tag is not from SU I run out of it and this was in my sewing box.
Ok I have to dash as I have some Stampers 10 orders to place, by the way ONLY 3 MORE PLACES LEFT in my next club, get in touch to reserve your spot. Read more HERE .
Enjoy the video and thank you for stopping by. Till next time

Now then....
I have been a stranger all right, huh?
You know I mentioned my throat infection last time I blogged? well it really took hold of me and I was completely out of action all last week which is never good especially when you haven't planned taking a week off IYKWIM. A few trips to doc. plus a dreaded antibiotics course, lemon, honey, throat lozenges, gargles with various remedies and only this last Monday I started feeling like I was getting better.
I have tons to share so hopefully things will get back to normal around here as I really missed my blogging!!
On Sunday we had our Quarterly Team Training Event and I was determined to be there, what a FAB we had!!!.
I planned on being a bit more quiet then normal just so I don't put more strain on my vocal cords and did you think it happened? I was sounding terrible by the end of the day HAHA.
We had such a BLAST it really was a fabulous day. Lovely swaps, lovely demonstrations and lovely people whom I love dearly, some from our extended team and some from other teams all coming together and having a FUN day. Here's some of the fab things we got up to and some of the projects.
First the demos
Carole showed us how to use the Icicle rub ons and acetate, she also demoed those fabulous glitter baubles I LOVE them !!
How fabulous do they look? and you need to believe that they are even better IRL>
Her table looked gorgeous as well with lots of card samples here's just 3 of them, I love the acetate windows one
I cannot believe how quick these cards could come together, I have a good friend and customer Alison who loves rub ons, raves about them and uses them all the time, I am now a convert after seeing those lovely samples, thank you Carole for inspiring me with those rub ons that I don't seem to ever want to use..
Marlene demoed some of the most beautiful sculpted flowers
I was in heaven watching her table everything looked so delicate and lovely.
My fave item from her table ( it was hard to choose) was this lovely cone
Can you just imagine these doted about in your home around Christmas time? hanged from a door handle maybe? lush !!
What about this?Lovely colours, note how Marlene used the bird wing from the Extra Large Bird Punch to add the leaves to the roses.
You need a special card this Christmas?
How about this beauty? Love it, is so very elegant and deffo special!!
Thank you so much Marlene for your demo on the day, fab stuff!!! xx
I love learning from our team they are such a FAB bunch of talented girls!! I will show you the swaps soon THEY ARE AMAZING !!
Next I will share some of the projects we did
First one a simple brayering technique
Bashful Blue with a hint of chocolate and plenty of dazzling diamonds. Dasher made an appearance of course I just love him!!.
Second card was a Christmas card using a non Christmassy set .
This is my fave purely because I love Sage Shadow. We added glue dots to the bare branches and doused them with glitter, lovely effect so very sparkly.
Next Bekka designed a wonderful Planner made from envelopes so clever and so very cute.
I pinched those pics from Bekka's blog, here's the covers
and here's a picture of the inside
I cannot wait to make my own version. Perfect to help you with all the preparations during the festive season, lots of room for lists and receipts even secret pockets.
The last project was a home decor banner.
It turned out so pretty I will definitely offer this as a local class as is one of those items you could easily use or make as a gift for someone.
We used the lovely and very festive Christmas Jingle Scrapping kit and we had tons left over, those kits are amazing value.
I am going to leave you with a funny picture, I wish I could have shared pictures of all the girls there on the day but I am aware this post is already picture heavy and you might be already bored, however I just need to share this one with you because no matter where you go there's always ONE isn't it?
Love crafters as most of them are just as crazy if not more than I am.

Birthday Passionette...........
Hello there, I hope you're all well, not the same can be said about me unfortunately as I am bedridden with a nasty throat infection *yuck*.
Sunday it was Tara's Happy Birthday, she has been a member of my team for nearly 2 years and I have yet to meet her. We speak plenty on Skype and the phone and it looks like Convention this year will be when we will finally get to hug each other, I cannot wait as she is such a sweetie.
My card for her was this creations
Tara loves lilac and I don't really (oops), I always find it hard working with lilacs so I chose Rich Razzleberry as a cross between lilac and purple and I paired it with Old Olive.
Now I totally cased this card from this very talented girl on Splitcoast, I am finding it easier to case something beautiful and perfect when I cannot come up with something myself instead of spending hours waiting for divine inspiration. I changed some things about it but the main elements are the same.
The stamp set I used is called Crazy for Cupcakes and I watercoloured them using ink pads, I have also added some glitter to the frosting.
Tara I hope you had a beautiful day and between hubby and the twins you ended up spoilt rotten. ((hugs))
Now recently I decided to purge my wardrobe a bit and sold some clothes that never seen the day for a while on that famous site. I made quite a bit of cash which I will keep for the pre order of the new catalogue which is looming soon. Yes you heard that right as a demo you get to see the new catty and pre order right ahead of time another fab reason to join up now.
Because I am crafter I wrapped everything in lovely tissue paper and made some thank you cards to go in the parcels. Here they are
Small 4x4 notes this time in Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise and Razzleberry again. the set used is called True Friend and is one I am not using half as much as I should as is gorgeous. I have used an ink pad and a blender pen for the razzleberry flowers and an Old Olive marker pen for the stem.
Right I am off to rest some now please send me positive vibes, I have a big event on Sunday and I am poorly pants big time right now.

Flight of the Butterfly...
Hello there guys well thank God is Friday!! It has been a horrible week for me so I am looking forward to some brighter times and this weekend is looking GOOD weather wise at least.
Today I am sharing some little treats I have made last week for all my Virtual club members.
Aren't they sweet? I love the cheery colours and I am so sad those colours will no longer be come 1st of October.
I used Cameo Coral, Apricot Appeal and Ruby Red. Now what are the chances that out of 50 plus treat boxes the one that is punched wrong will make it right at the top in the centre? Look closely at the third box in from the left then look at the left wing.?!/?!?1????1!!1
How did I miss that when punching, then when assembling, then when arranging for the group shot and only discovered it when I saw the picture on the screen? hard to believe LOL
Oh well perfectly handmade is overrated anyway.
To make the long scalloped border I used 2 punched scalloped squares then I stamped the small flutters from the Flight of the Butterfly set and the thank you so much little sentiment comes from the Tiny Tags set.
I used the So Swirly wheel to add some texture to the plain card stock before gluing the box shut. I love how you can take a plain uninked cartridge fill it with Versamark refill and hey presto you have a Versa cartridge for all your wheels. Great for embossing or just a pretty pattern on plain card stock.
The big flutters were stamped in Cameo Coral ink first then the Ruby Red spots were stamped on top and punched out with the matching butterfly punch.
Inside a sweet and chunky treat (clue in the name) I know the club girls would have enjoyed while playing with their new goodies.
Talk about clubs I have 5 places left to a NEW virtual club starting soon.
To join please contact me on telemech01ataoldotcom
I also have a rewarding scheme in place.
AND THAT'S NOT ALL
JOIN BEFORE THE 31 JULY AND GET A £5 PRODUCT CREDIT NOTE TO GO TOWARDS YOUR FIRST ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you will have a fabulous weekend till next time

Pretty Rulers
Hello there how are you?
Is an exciting day for me as I am picking up my new car this morning, shame I am straight back at work afterwards and tomorrow too.
Roll on the weekend so that I can test drive properly. Is my first automatic and I am looking forward to it.
Ok video time like promised. At the beginning of the year I took on a design team assignment for a fabulous forum where SU demonstrators like to hang out.And part of the deal was to shoot one video/month well I am ashamed to say I only did 2 this being my third this year, shameful I know.
Part of the problem is that videos take me so long to edit and by the time I finish one I am ready to tear my hair out (I am not saying they are that hard what I am trying to say is that I don't get along with technology very well so it takes me an age). However I am planning on making some changes and offering more videos for my blog and the In love with stamping forum so watch this space.
And here's my most recent one on covering plastic rulers. You might remember that I made a bunch of those rulers as my swaps for our first European Convention last November
Well they were well received and more recently a few demos have been asking questions about them so I decided to make a video. I bought the plain rulers in Wilkinson (for those living in the UK) but I am pretty sure you can do a search for 6"rulers and find some.
Ok got to dash ENJOY !!!! and till next time HUGS xxxx

Birthday Passionette !!!
Hello there, are you having a lovely weekend? I think for us today is meant to be the last nice day, the weather is changing but hopefully not for long, I am enjoying the bright and sunny days, I really am.
Today is Jules birthday !!! YAY!! She is 21 again yeah right !!
Now she loves cupcakes like you wouldn't believe so it was natural I made a card that had a cupcake on. I have saw a brilliant card in a Stampin'Up! publication on the 1st of July and as soon as I saw this card I knew I would have to make it for her birthday.
Here it is
Jules likes brown as well so I chose a Choc Chip base and I used the big cupcake from Crazy for Cupcakes set, I have coloured the image using markers (I love those for quick intense colouring). Jules also likes her alpha sets for adding personal messages or names to her cards one of another reason why this was so perfect for her. The girl word was stamped with the aid of the Stamp a ma Jig using the Just Schoolbook Seriff alphabet. A touch of pink and bashful blue and a bit of silver cord completes this sweet card. I really like how it turned out I just hope she does too.
Jules I hope you had the most wonderful day ever HAPPY BIRTHDAY sweetie.
The next lot of crafty makes I have to share with you are those sweet cards
In the last week I got some not so nice news, a few close friends are going through some hard times at the minute so I had to make a few cards just to say **I am thinking of you**.
Again I chose a SU publication for inspiration and this time the idea was provided by our last Mini catalogue. I changed the colours and layout just like with Julie's card but the main idea was from there.
Choc Chip base again, and the strips are Certainly Celery, Old Olive and Rose Red card stock.
The dear from the Forest friends stamp set was inked with markers to get the two tone effect, and the lovely sentiment stamp is from Occasional Greetings.
I used Choc Chip, Old Olive and Rose Red markers to ink the sentiment stamp. How sweet is this sentiment used in conjunction with this stamp? My hope is that this card brought a smile to those lovely girls.
Ok I am off now as I just had tea (chinese takeaway) and have 50 thnak you cards to go thorugh.
Have a great rest of weekend. Till tomorrow
