Only 2 days left.....

Hello there and Happy Bank Holiday Monday, I hope you are enjoying a relaxed and happy Bank holiday weekend, I worked and held a class on Saturday ( thank you ladies for coming I loved seeing you all), then yesterday I did a bit of shopping in the morning after which we enjoyed a chilled out Sunday entertaining good friends, Jane who just so happens to be one of my best customers came round for a Sunday roast with her lovely family including the cutest Rhodesian Ridge back pup on this planet, the adorable Zuri ( you can imagine Nico's happiness can't you?) we had such a good time, but I do hope they are alive and I haven't poisoned them.
Today I am busy working my little socks off,  there is lots to do this is a busy time if you are a demo as we are expecting our retiring list in less than 48 hours plus we get to peek AT THE NEW CATALOGUE !!
To say I am excited is an understatement, I cannot wait but firstly I do want to see exactly what's going and make sure I order it before it disappears.
Now don't also forget that you only have until tomorrow night to take advantage of this month's special offer, 20% of certain two step stamping sets, find out more HERE .
One of my favourites sets from this selection is the gorgeous Bird on A branch, here are the thank you cards I sent my customers last month.
Sage Shadow, Lovely Lilac and Basic Black.
What you cannot see from the picture is that those dots amongst the bare branch were stamped using a mixture of ink and frost white shimmer paint, fabulous shimmering results shame they are so hard to capture in a photo.
I am off now to cut and pack 100 card kits *gasp*
Enjoy what's left of your weekend and till next time Big Hugs from me. xx

Birthday Passionette..

Hello there how are you? I am finally back on track after returning from a well earned break in the sun (and oh yeah!! I had to try my Incentive Trip flip flops read about them here). We took a fabby week out and headed for the beautiful Cala D'Or in Mallorca. We holidayed with my sister's family and that meant I had a the pleasure of bonding even stronger with my delicious Luca, and now I am even more obsessed with him if that was at all possible LOL. Here he is in between being changed from his wet swimwear messing with hubby's sun hat, he is such a funny little guy.

The weather was perfect, the beach and surroundings were so very pretty, food was plentiful and yummy ( back on the diet AGAIN!!) so needless to say we all had a lovely and relaxing time.  This was our back yard for the week,
Two sister hotels are built either side of  this cove, soft sand, shallow warm water it was just perfect for little and big people, we shared memories that we will treasure forever.

Yesterday the sweet Vicky one of my dear Passionette celebrated her Birthday. Now I couldn't post about her card yesterday as I couldn't find my camera lead at all so here I am today.
Vicky is such a sweetie and such a  talented crafter, she also loves colour pink. I choose the Hot, Hot, Hot Melon Mambo as my choice.

And I chose a stamp set that hasn't seem an ink pad in a while. Fresh Cuts. The background was achieved by using a simple yet effective technique called smacking acetate then I stamped the main image in black over it.
I have stamped the main image once more in Old Olive cut some of the leaves out and popped on dimensionals for extra texture. The All A Flutter butterflies were coloured using markers.
Here's a close up of them
Such pretty colours, Melon Mambo with Black as a neutral and a few splashes of So Saffron, Old Olive, Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery
Vicky I hope you had a wonderful day and you were spoilt rotten by yours. Hugs xx
Well thank you for joining me again, I will see you tomorrow with a fabby KIT BY MAIL, is time to think Christmas !!!!
Till then Big Hugs xxx

Birthday Passionette !!!

Hello there and HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEKKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am a bit late posting this so I will be quick before the day passes. Bekka is one of my carrer minded Passionettes, she is a fabulous demo and a fearless team leader, I said it before I am truly lucky to have her part of this team, I love her dearly and I was so happy to get to see her today and personally wish her a Happy Birthday even if only for a short half an hour.
Everyone that knows Bekka will know of her love for owls and the colour teal, so I had to combine the two for her special card. Here it is..
I used Taken with Teal, Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron the inspiration for this colour combo came from the wonderful Sweet Pea paper stack. I love it how colourful this ended up, a really bright and happy card, those 2 tone little owls form the Fox and Friends stamp set are so darn cute.

And guess what? I have a video that shows how I made this card !!
Bekka I  hope you liked your card and  Many Happy Returns my sweet, hugs xx
Thank you for stopping by, enjoy the video and till next time HUGS xxx

Stampin'Up! Video Time

Hello there I have made Luca's birthday card!! No, his birthday is not soon, in fact is not until September and I NEVER make anything in advance I am like hubs calls me lastminute.com. But the 20% off selected stamp sets made me think more about them and that enabled me to find extra potential. So here's my card using the fabby treat cups and Big Bold Birthday set cupcake base as a hot air ballon.
I think I need to add a number 3 somewhere but I will play with it more between and September I am sure. I cannot believe that he is 3 already. I haven't shared a picture with him for a while and here s one from their last visit, I think it was last bank holiday weekend we had in the UK.
He just finished building the card in the photo so he was rather pleased with himself at this point. Love the all teeth smile in this shot, and I could kiss the screen right now LOL.
Colours on this card are Ballet Blue base and the papers from the Sweet Pea stack. I will miss those papers come September they are so versatile suited both to scrapbooking and card making, if you haven't got round buying them do so now, once they re gone t.
Ok here's the video enjoy and come back soon.

Till next time Big Hugs xxx

Stampin'Up Vintage Vogue anniversaries

Happy Monday everyone!!  A start to a new week,  they sure pass quickly don’t they?
I had a few anniversaries I needed to make cards for lately, and Vintage Vogue had to be inked again, is been a while. I made two very similar looking cards with 2 different colour schemes.

The first one is Bravo Burgundy and Very Vanilla Bridesmaid papers with a touch of Old Olive. When I stamped my flowers I used bravo ink and Ruby Red.
I wanted the flowers to have some depth and using two colours achieved that.
Here's a close up

Lovely dimension with the layered flowers. I also had some fun with the scallop oval punch for my sentiment.
Second card has a Sage Shadow, Close to cocoa and again Vanilla bridesmaid papers. I love those papers so elegant.

I put a bit more work into this one , can you tell this was the first one I made? By the time I had to do second one I streamlined the design dramatically. LOL

Similar but nothing like one another. I think I should have added some pearls to the centre of the flowers, I did add some dazzling diamonds and they sparkled nicely but you can't see it in the picture.
So what do you think, which one is your fave?
Got to dash now thank you for visiting me and till next time big hugs xxx

Stampin'Up Passionettes Team Training swaps

Hello there how is your weekend shaping up to be? I hope you had a good start , I am relaxing with family and maybe I will get some crafting done as well. I have a mammoth mass production project to get through so to say I am busy is an understatement, fancy helping me out?
I did promised I would showcase the swaps I receive at our team training last Tuesday. If you don’t know what swapping is all about, let me explain. Swaps are organized affairs where people volunteer to participate and they make multiple of the same project. Then you swap with other people and you end up with tons of clever ideas or if you are a demonstrator tons of samples to showcase. All our events as demonstrators involves swapping, I LOVE that.
So here’s the back to school swaps I received.

How good are they? I totally love them all. I mean look at that Fox and Friends stamped pencil case, I screamed when I saw it so sweet. The packed pencils are a good gift idea and one I will pinch for sure. The chocolate box top left is full with miniatures office essentials, very cute idea. Further down the notes box opens up to reveal some sticky notes and the lady that did those even coordinated the colours with the sticky notes *only us crafters LOL*. The little black box has coloured punched up tab shapes. How brill would those be for a teacher? or a student I use tabs in my own personal SU catalogue so I know how useful they can be, again a brillinat idea I never thought of. The sweet card is  FAB and I love the punched apple with the tiny tag.
Next if you look closely at the front you will noticed a paper altered pen and the cutest corner bookmark I have ever seen. I am so going to find out how you do those, is an origami  type of fold with a heart shape front, too cute. I love creative people and I love sharing and meeting with my team. We had a wonderful time once again cannot wait for the next one.
Here are my swaps

I didn’t have a lot of time and the first idea I had went out the window as I couldn’t get the supplies needed so I had to do simple. I found some inexpensive calculators at my local Wilkinsons store and I simply made a card cover for them. I used the Extra Large Bird punch and a good colou combo, I love those colours together so much. Choc Chip, Pumpkin Pie. Old Olive, Pink Passion and Tempting Turquoise. the chocolate base was stamped with the Live Your Dream set. Hope you enjoyed our back to school swaps.Thank you for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend.
Till next time Big Hugs xx.

FRIDAY the 13!!!!!

Eeeks!! Hello there, how are you today and more importantly are you superstitious?
I cannot say I am but there were times in my life when certain spooky things have happened that made me go OMGOSH!!!!!
Anyway THANK GOD IS FRIDAY thirteen or no thirteen.
I am sharing our latest team training event today. We meet every month for stamping, swapping and sharing and this Tuesday we did just that.
Here's a few of the projects we did
We did Butterfly pansies!!
Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive and the speciality paper was misted using shimmer paints with reinkers added to it.
Our quick workshop suitable make n take was a Christmas card.
Love easel card and this baby is sparkly all over.
Bordering Blue(love this blue) with matching grosgrain ribbon and Old Olive.
Stamp sets Baroque Motifs and the fab Tree Trimmings.
I like this one simple but so pretty.
Our 3 D item was this delightful packaging idea.

Love this!!. Bravo Burgundy, Pumpkin Pie paper from the Petal Party scrapping  kit, sweet pea felt flowers and Razzleberry dotty ribbon!! I have to confess that my eyes and my poor lighting in my room failed me this time, the card was meant to be razzleberry and I didnt noticed I picked the wrong one till after everything was cut out oops.
I love this and wait have a look at what's inside.
A sampling of pretty ribbon, what a sweet gift idea for a hostess or a crafty friend.
Join me tomorrow when I will show you the swaps. Our theme this month was back to school.
WOW wait until you see what these demos came up with, you will love all the ideas.
Till next time Big hugs xxx

Stampin'Up! Loads of love Video tutorial

Hello there, how are you today? I am fine but not happy at the moment with You Tube, it took me 3 attempts to upload my video and I was at my wits end, unfortunately couldn't do anything about it yesterday as we had our monthly team meeting , but it uploaded fine this morning.
So here it is enjoy it, is really easy to get good results with our markers as long as you follow the golden rule BE GENTLE with them and let the ink do the work. I am no expert but I get good satisfactory results and I can use those markers for so much more not just colouring that's what sets them apart. Alchool markers cannot be used on rubber stamps for stamping but those can and I couldn't be without them.
And I have a second card to show you made with the same set using the same colouring technique.
I used Chocolate Chip, So Saffron and Regal Rose. Sentiment is provided by the wonderful and so versatile Tiny Tags stamp set, simply stringed a few tags messages onto some lined thread, lovely accent on any project.
And I wanted to show you a view of the mega sparkly Shimmer Paint, I love the stuff and cannot stop using it. There's a video tutorial that shows you how to make it HERE scroll down the post to see it.>
Pretty glitzy don't you think?
Right I need to finish off my sandwich and get back to work so until next time

Stampin'Up! on a Sunday, Loads Of Love

Good morning!! Is Sunday already those weekends are flying by far to quick.
I can't be long as I am meeting up some crafty friends and need to dash in about 15 minutes but I got redy a bit earlier so I am doing the post now rather than later on.
I played with Loads Of Love this week seeing as is a set that's on offer right now. Now is not secret this is a personal favourite of mine, and I use it mostly for Christmas cards, don't know why because is clearly suited to every occasion out there especially if you add the accessories set that matches this set.
So it is Christmas card I am showing today made with this set

Weird angle I know I made an easel card and I find them so hard to photograph. Anyway I choose to use my markers to colour my truck and while doing this I shot a video that I will share with you on Tuesday. Colouring is all the rage right now and there are various mediums on the market, I wanted to show you that you can obtain the same look using our Marvellous Markers you just need to follow a few tips. I am by no mean an expert as I don't do it often enough but I love the result and I know with practice I could improve.
Here's a close up , perfectly acceptable shading using 3 different colours.

Bashful Blue, Ballet Blue and Brilliant Blue were the colours used for the truck. Summer Sun, Old Olive and Always Artichoke colours used for the tree, creamy caramel and close to cocoa for the tyres.

Oh and I have some exciting news. I HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED !!!
Check out the Scrapbook Trends magazine. Here's a sneak peek of my project check the mag out in your local WHSmith, HobbyCraft and your local mag supplier, and if you need it autographed just let me know. mwahahahah
Have a super Sunday I am off to meet my friends and STAMP !!

Stampin'Up! Technique Video

Hello there how are you? I have a few minutes before I need to get ready for work so I will be quick today.
At my class last Saturday we covered a few stamping techniques and I also shot a video as part of my design team assignment for ILWS. So I have a video for this card here
The best technique is one I have discovered myself, so while a new one to me it might be that someone out there has already done it like 15 years ago. I married the Stamp Off Stamp on technique with the famous Rock n Roll for a really cool 3 dimensional effect. Is simple and effective you can see the effect a bit better here
So grab some ink pads a solid image and have some fun after watching this video. Thank you for joining me again
till next time BIG HUGS xxxx

Enjoy the video

Stampin'Up! Big Bold Birthday July Class

Hello there and Happy August, is hard to believe that is here already. I am looking forward to it however even if looking like a busy, busy time.
And what a fabulous deal we have from Stampin'Up! for this month!!! Love IT!!
Yesterday I held our July class and we went alfresco again.
Here's a picture of the set up in my back garden before the girlies arrived.
Summer times are tricky for class attendance with family holidays and children being on holiday so we had a smaller group than usual hence why we ended up in the garden. There was 6 of them, 5 of my lovely local ladies plus Anne one of my lovely downline, it was so great to see them all again.
Ok now the plan was to take pictures as we went along so that I could share them with you but I DIDN'T. I forgot all about it until the ladies were ready to leave, I am sorry.

I have however pictures of the projects we made at My Summery Big Bold Birthday class

Neapolitan Ice Cream colours along with my fave 2 step stamping set Big Bold Birthday. I bought this set as part of my starter kit when I first signed up as a demo 2 and a half years ago and I still love it and use it a lot. It's got so many fun elements in there as well as fabby sentiments.
The colours we used in this class were Regal Rose, Apricot Appeal and Close to Cocoa, also a bit of So Saffron designer paper was featured on one of the cards.
We had such a nice time, I really love my classes, I love getting together with my friends they are the loveliest of people, I fell so lucky to know them all. Oh and the carrot and orange cake I served with a cuppa was pretty good too. Before you ask let me say no I didn't bake this time, our cake was courtesy of my local COOP, if you have one locally try their Truly irresistible range of cakes they truly are irresistible, is how cakes should taste like, shame we have to market them as being something extra special.
Now let's move onto my own SPECIAL OFFER
Buy the Big Bold Birthday stamp set, plus 3 ink pads and get the complete class kit (worth £5) featured above for FREE.
The price is £34.99 and it includes postage and packaging.
This offer is from myself and not from Stampin'Up!
Your kit has a value of £5 and will include all the product and supplies needed cut to size along with instructions.  You can change the ink pads colour if you already the the ones stated, simply inform me after payment or in the comment section.
