Welcome Christmas Stampin'Up! video

Hello my lovely blog reader, thank goodness is the weekend. I am particularly excited as I am in London enjoying a relaxing weekend with my sister and her family. Of course this means spending lots of time with my delicious little nephew Luca, I cannot wait and I am sure that by the end of this weekend I will have some cute pictures to share with you.
I am still in Christmas mode and I have tons of cards left to make, so here's a lovely Christmas card using my favourite Christmas set from the new catalogue, WELCOME CHRISTMAS.
I am also in love with the combination as well, very shabby chic, it reminds me of a authentic Scandinavian interior.
Cherry Cobbler and Basic Gray grounded with crisp whisper white.
I have embossed both images in white powder and I love the neat trick using the hole punch to add the cute berries. The wreath also makes a wonderful background. This set is party of the promotion for November and December, order the set and the gorgeous Christmas Cocoa designer papers and claim a free reel of ribbon absoluetly FREE> here s the ribbon choice and the lovely papers.

I have a few examples to share with you next week using those gorgeous papers. I do love those papers some of the designs are flocked totally gorgeous and delicious. But the ribbon is even more pretty. The table is here should you want to see the ordering codes.
Back to my card featured here is the quick video for it and a different close view.

Enjoy it and till next time BIG HUGS xxx

Santa Claus is Coming to town

Hello there, hope you are well.
Let me ask you this? Do you like stamps? You do? Then why don't you ask Santa for some? Put stamps and other crafty delights on your wish list this year.
Every year about this time of the year I get to start playing Santa for my lovely customers.
So this year just like every other year I will be offering my
Christmas Wish List 2010
I am so excited to know that I will once again put big smiles on my customers faces this Christmas.
And it couldn't be easier, all you have to do is email me your MONEY IS NO OBJECT wish list then pass all my details to your friends and loved ones and let me do the rest. I arrange, wrap and deliver all your gifts so that you can open packages filled of crafty delights on Christmas day. You see it will still be a surprise for you on the day as you know you will get beautiful wanted products but you will not have a clue which ones, love it !!!
I am also offering vouchers if you would rather not be surprised with goodies. How posh do they look? I want to thank Lindsey my lovely downline for making them for me.

The vouchers come in all denominations and presented in a hand made wallet like the one below, ready to be popped under the tree.

I have used Cherry Cobbler designer paper for this particular one with hints of Old Olive and Crumb Cake. I adore this stamp set called Welcome Christmas and that's what I have used here. You will also note the tiny splatter effect the new Spritzing tool is fabulous and so easy to add that vintage touch to any projects.
So if you would rather open some crafting goodies this Christmas morning get that lovely hubbie to ring me and let me arrange your gifts this year.
Email me at telemech01@aoldotcom
I have a few cards to show you as well, the first one was my make n take card I demonstrated at my November workshops. It was inspired by a swap my lovely friend and demonstrator Amanda Bates did. Here's Amandas original card

And here is my take on it.

Cherry Cobbler once again this time paired with my favourite blue Baja Breeze. So swirly wheel in Baja over whisper white card and two Contempo baubles punched out with the Ornament punch topped with a dazzling rhinestone. The sentiment was simply stamped in whisper white craft ink people comment all the time on how crisp this white comes on dark card stock , is truly the best.
Thank you so much for joining me I will see you again soon with more Christmas. Till next time hugs xxx

Mambo Dashing Dasher

Hello and Happy weekend! The weeks are flying faster and faster it seems, and my Christmas preparations are still at the planning stage.
I have a few cards to show you from my November class well one is the other one didn't make the short list

Melon Mambo Dasher with a hint of Bashful Blue and Choc Chip. I love this individual stamp, it allows you to quickly mass produce pretty cards and we all need quick and pretty this time of the year.
Of course as you can see I have gone mad with the rhinestones

I cannot tell you how pretty our rhinestones are, I use them on everything they are like jewellery on a pretty outfit, essential.
My next card uses a lovely and elegant combo again very simple in design.

Contempo Christmas, simply stamped on Whisper white in Rich Razzleberry ink.
Rich Razzle and River Rock make for a classy combo, I added some gold cord a few rhinestones, some rich razlleberry satin ribbon and voilà.
Well thank you for joining me I hope you will enjoy a crafty and pleasant weekend.
Till next time Big Hugs xx

Gift Card Holder

Hello there, hope you are well. Throughout the rest of this month I will feature strictly gifts and Christmas ideas as we all start thinking about it a bit more. It is scary to think that we only have a few weeks left before we leave some mince pies and some carrots out.
At Convention my clever downline Jules showed us on stage a gift card holder inspired by another clever lady Heather Summers a demo from Canada.
So I decided to copy their idea and make some of my own, and as I am a metric girl I have translated the inch measurements into cm.

I kept the colours and feel of the holder very much the same as Julies, but I did change the stamp set and added the raised sentiment to act as a closure for the holder. I have sued Crumb Cake , Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive narrow grosgrain ribbon.
Here's a quick video tutorial to help you with measurements etc.
have fun making them you will all need them this Christmas I know you will. And if I can help you buy any of the products featured please contact me.

Enjoy !! Till next time BIG HUGS xxxx

More Stampin'Up! Convention 2010

Hello there, how are you? enjoying the weekend I hope.  For the first time in weeks and I mean weeks I had a lie in (bliss!) and now I am blogging and then I will tackle the DISAAASTER (if you watch Strictly you will have read that with Craig's R H's accent, LOL) that is my stamping room. It needs a good going over I expect I will be in there the whole day.
I have a bit more action for you from last weekend. On Thursday night along with Natalie O'Shea a fellow demo we hosted a Pre Convention party for our respective teams and anyone else that wanted to join us. It ended up being a mini Convention in itself with 120 demos attending. I am soo annoyed as I didn't have time to take any pictures that evening  but everyone seemed to have had a good time and we had a ton of thank you's from the attendees.
We had party bags for everyone and these were my team bags (pictures taken by Sarah Pitts a lovely level 2 Passionette)
Stylish black bags decorated with strips of Melon Mambo. I have used the Heart to heart punch to create a border and used the packing tape technique to add some bling silver glitter to one cluster of hearts. More hearts stuck at the top and a few rhinestones for more bling and glamour.
Each bag had inside a little gift, a bottle of water, some snacks, a few essentials and a stamp set depending on their title.

Note the cute little triangular box? it had a trendy watch inside, those rubbery ones, our French friends that attended that night loved them. Natalie made and decorated all 120 boxes WOW !!! thank you Natalie I bet you were seeing them in your sleep or lack of. See how they match my heart theme? We are called the Passionettes and what else other than hearts to symbolize Passion?  we are all Passionate about Stampin'Up! want to join us? Email me at telemech01@aoldotcom for more details, I would love to welcome you to our friendly and fun team.
Sunday I took to the stage for a presentation. I was extremely flattered to be asked to couple with our Country Manager Paula Gorry and deliver a business training class. Now of course those type of classes are never as exciting as the product ones because let's face it, stamping and creating pretty things is far more exciting then doing the boring stuff running a business requires like admin yuck. However we did made it a bit more fun by trying to dance, emphasize on the word trying LOL.
here we are doing the Zorba, smile.
it was fun even though I am sure we looked silly.
Now of course before each Convention lots of crafting takes place in the form of swap making. I am sooo grateful to have the most amazing bunch of talented crafty friends who helped me stamp and assemble 265 of those pretties here in about 5 hours, we did stop for lunch that lovely hubs prepared and served, he really is such a great help to me and my business. So a huge thank you to Jane, Alison, Joanne and Carol you are the best ladies hugs xxx
here's  the card I swapped this Convention
I really liked this card best out of all I designed(will show you the ones that didn't make the short list later) and while on the surface it looks quite a simple card is not when you talk abot making 265 of them.  All the punching took is toll on the ladies and  they were all very tired at the end of it. Chocolate Chip, Ridinghood Red  and Old Olive was the colours used and I just love this red is warm and muted and very suited to Choc Chip.. The bird is from my fave hostess set this year Punch Pot Pourri, you can get this set for FREE by hosting a workshop with me or by Joining my next Virtual hostess club, we need just 2 more members for one starting at the end of November, click here for more details.
I also took part in a Card Candy swap and this was just pure delight. I adore the samples I got back and here they all are for you to see, what talent this ladies have. THANK YOU for swapping with me!!

Top left we have a set made with the Serene Snowflakes set, next we have the Delightful Decorations set (don't miss this set in the special bundle offer for Nov. and December click here for more details), next Vintage Vogue in pinks, Love You Much is top right, then second row bottom  left  we have For Everything set, my own masterpiece using Just Believe set (combo taken from the Colour Coach) and my favourite out of them all using A Flower for all Seasons. Aren't they gorgeous? looking at those pictures I think I am missing one will hunt around.
I have received so many gifts and lovely treats from my team, my demo friends, my wonderful roomie and I have not taken pictures of them all before hand and because I have let's say consumed so many of them  already I cannot show you pictures of the rest of the gifts for the fear of missing someone out and upsetting them. I do want to say though that I am thankful and grateful for each and every one of you, thank you so much for thinking of me, I will use/wear them with pride.
I have also received some very special awards for my hard work this last year along with a £500 cash bonus that will go towards a new lens for my camera and some truly exquisite wallpaper for my hallway after I paid the tax man of course.
Coming third was a total surprise as I expected to be first again !!!!! LOL.  I am kidding of course as a demo you have not idea how the other hard working demos are doing and all I can do is share what I love and continue to better my last year efforts, I was secretly hoping to be in the top 5 so top 3 was just FABULOUS.
Here's all my certificates THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN if you are a customer of mine or a valued team member.
Certificates along with a fabulous Michael Kors Chronograph watch, is really pretty and it has just the right amount of bling and the mother of pearl face is so pretty.

Cannot wait for Summer now so that I can wear it ( is funny as I wear this Michael Kors watch now and this one is rather blingy too) THANK YOU Stampin'Up!! smile.

I hope you enjoyed reading a bit more about the fabulous Convention in London and remember next year we are going to DISNEYLAND Paris, want to come? send me an email and I will tell you how you can telemech01@aoldotcom.
till next time BIG HUGS xx

Stampin'Up! Convention London 2010

Hello there, WOW !!! is all I can say right now. I have returned from our second Convention in London and what  a fabulous time I had.
Convention was an utterly fabulous experience that I will treasure for many years to come. As always Stampin'Up! thought of everything to make our experience an unforgettable one. And it was so fabulous not only for the freebies, the wonderful inspiration shared though hundred of brilliant swaps, the useful presentations, the main events presented on stage or the awards I achieved, it was made extra special by all the people I got to spend some time with over this last few days most of all my team. We had a great time together learning and sharing and cheering. It was also nice to meet those that read my blog and have emailed me in the past, my French demo friends and my German ones, thank you for taking the time to stop and chat with me, I appreciate it and it made Convention even more special for me.
The Venue was amazing, it was held at Addington Palace in Surrey stunning place.
As we pulled in the car the path way was lined with those lovely bright signs delivering of our messages Inspire, Create and Share.
We all registered and got our Convention bags

Top left the bag and is contents, next a gorgeous craft tote that matches our Gala designer paper, bottom left Kelly and Jasmin staff at SU modelling the bag, the make n take table all set up ready for us, and a gorgeous display in the Memento Mall.
After some swapping and mingling the Main Stage lit up and the program started with a gorgeous song wrote for Stampin'Up! It was a lovely start and some of us really got into the mood of it. LOL
UK, French and German demonstrators were chosen to present some gorgeous projects on stage and my downline Jules was one of them.
She was such a superstar, came across really well and had the whole room in stitches. Here she is having a blast, behind her you can see Chris, her very well behaved  assistant/cameraman, who she blamed for shaking the camera to much and making her appear nervous, what a hoot she is.

Awards night came far too quickly and it was as lovely and special as last year. Everyone dressed up and looked stunning, there were a lot of exquisite sparkly dresses,  fabulous jewellery and shoes. I nearly lost my voice from all the whooping I did seeing my team and my friends being recognized on stage.
I was so happy to rank as number 3 in the whole of the UK this year, woohooo.
Thank you so much to all of you that supported me over the years and continue to do so, also to my wonderful team who worked so very hard and who continue to inspire and motivate me, without you I wouldn't have achieved all those things and I am forever grateful, THANK YOU all  from the bottom of my heart.
I will share some of the photos I managed to take during the evening, unfortunately my flash batteries died on me and didn't manage to take more piccies. Forty-two members of my team attended Convention this year.
Don't they all look gorgeous and so happy? that's what Stampin'Up! does to you it puts a big smile on your face , I really cannot imagine a life without Stampin'Up! in it. I said it before on this blog and I will say it again, when I joined up nearly 3 years ago I didn't do so to earn any money from it, I simply joined to get the discount and earn some free stuff. Three years down the line and I developed my love of crafting into a successful business that earns me a good monthly income. I invite to join me and our team and start your own stamping journey, Stampin'Up! is like no other direct sales company out there, it builds relationships and strong friendships and that what my team are to me DEAR FRIENDS.
I was so happy to watch other 3 members of my team walk across the stage collecting awards for either earning the Incentive Trip or for having took their business to the next level. My heart was filled with pride and joy watching them collecting their awards.
Here I am with Jules and Shelli Gardner after collecting an award, Jules had a great night too and she ranked 4th overall and 1st in recruiting this year. Well done honey, she also looked stunning in her silvery dress
(Black dress won in the end Jayne, LOL).
I wore black taffeta (again) and I am happy to report that I was absolutely fine, no extra mopping was required LOL.
I want to point out that I had my gorgeous necklace made for me by a very talented lady who I met thorough Blogland. Susie it was perfect, and exactly what I wanted thank you for help and patience, it sparkled like mad.
Top 3 demo of the year next.
Michelle Last came first, Amanda Fowler second and I came third. Also you can see Paula Gorry our Country Manager(left in the gold dress) and Shelli Gardner to the right of the photo.
These two lovely ladies worked really hard this year, WELL DONE girls.
As lovely as receiving my awards was the highlight of the evening was seeing Bekka rank at number 7. My heart was beating so fast as they were announcing the names and it went from 10 to 9 to 8 and then to 7 when her name was called out, I cried with joy for, look at the happiness on her face

This was a picture of the monitor as I was to far from the main stage to take any shots and my flash was dead at this point. Bekka is the most wonderful person, she helps and encourages every demo whether in her team or not she is wise, kind hearted and selfless, I am truly honoured to have her as my team mate and friend and I was ecstatic to see her achieve this wonderful recognition. She worked extremely hard and had an amazing year WELL DONE honey.
I also want to mention Teresa Pocock another one of my team members who had a brilliant year and ranked at number 20, well done sweetheart what an achievement.
A very well deserved round of applause ladies.
I will share a funny picture taken after the awards. In the hotel lobby I met with a group of friendly demos from Germany, Ina one of the ladies had the most gorgeous curly hair and I was admiring it. Next thing I knew Ina went behind me and lifted her hair on top of my head while Tanja took this picture. I now want curly hair... so much fun, thank you ladies.
Lovely hair but I look demented with that silly grin all over my face hee hee.

We wrapped up Convention with the news that our next year one is being held in Paris at the fabulous Disney World !!!!!!!!!!!!! O M G !! Think how much fun would that be?
