TWIT TWIT A WOOOOOO, Stampin'Up! Punch Bunch

Hello there and Happy Monday!! Have you had a good weekend? I did some resting because I needed it and it was good. Back to grind stone though as the list has never been bigger :)
You are loving the Sale a Bration sets and one of the most popular is Punch bunch, everyone seem to love that little owl, I still like Bliss the best but Mr. Owl has a place in my heart as well *Wink*.
And there's only one month left to get him !! I couldn't pass on the opportunity to have a full class dedicated to him so here it is. My February class held on Sunday 13 Feb.2011.
Did you say WHOOOOOOOOOOOO ?????? smile
Isn't it so cute?  We will make 2 cards( a birthday and an anniversary one) and one owl sweet box. Have you seen anything cuter? I wish I could say that I come up with this idea myself but sadly I didn't. Not sure who's original  idea it was but there are a few various examples on the net and in the Splitcoast's Gallery. I come to it by mistake, you see I agreed to help someone with nearly 100 favours for an event and immediately thought pillow boxes, then on further searching the inspiration was found and so FEB. class was born, better to kill two birds with one stone I say. Thank you to Maria for the loan of the die :).

Valentine Sweet Treat Video

Hello there are you ready for the weekend? I am excited as I have a date with hubby going to see the King's Speach tomorrow and this weekend is his as I will be working the next one.
I am posting this a little later than expected as Blogger didn't want me to post today.
Last Tuesday we had our monthly team training, meeting is what we do every month and I love it!! It was the first meet of the year and I was ready to catch up with everyone again and we welcomed quite a few new members this month. We shared business tips, we ate cake, well I eat most of it as it was date and walnuts and nearly everyone there had something against those nuts, we giggled, stamped and swapped . Here's some of our projects, I designed two of them around a love theme.

This lovely Treat Pouch is so easy to do yet looks impressive, we all loved making it, looks lovely filled with a few sweet treats. Regal Rose Designer paper from the Patterns Stack in the Soft Subtle Collections was use along with a hint of Real Red provided by the Satin and Narrow grosgrain ribbon.

Next a card I totally cased from one of my favourite artists Heather Klump, this ladie's style appeals to me but is quite the opposite to what I am able to produce, she recently started bloggin and I am so happy to be able to stalk her
I fell in love with the colour combination of Rose Red, Concord Crush, Old Olive and Pretty in Pink. I did ended up adding my own twist to it. It is made using the Artistic Etchings stamp set and the Petal Card Extra Large Punch, this punch cuts and embosses in one go and it make the cutest little envelopes ready to be filled with miniature works of art.
Lastly we all played with the Distressing Kit and made this little beauty

You will probably recognise this as my own style  *smile*. This kit is amazing value you get 3 different colour ink with it and they blend together beautifully. We scrunched, sanded, inked and layered stamped images to create a lovely Vintage inspired card. Soft Suede Marina Mist and Whisper White.
Right time to love you and leave you Enjoy the video for the treat pouch below
 Till next time Hugs xx

Valentine Punch Art.....................

Hello there how is your week going? I few weeks ago I was approached by Emily at www.vouchercodes.com and she asked if I was willing to create a Valentine inspired tutorial for the Most wanted *LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED* DIY Challenge? I accepted and I knew exactly what I wanted to do. You to can enter the deadline is 11February 2011 and you can read more about the challenge HERE.
Now then men cards are tricky at the best of time but Valentine is one occasion when you can allow yourself to be as mushy as you like, still if you can't bear mushy how about something that's fun for the man in your life?  I am pretty sure every wife, girlfriend long time partner out there had made a joke about kissing a frog at some point.
It was a recently broadcasted advert on the television that inspired me to make this card *smile*
Here it is my hopeful and very lovely answer to Mr.Kermit.
You just wouldn't resist, would you? Basic Gray, Old Olive, Pear Pizzaz and Real Red are my colours and a full list of the products used is given in my video.
I hope he brought a smile to your face and I hope it inspired you to make one for your lovely Prince.
So sit back and enjoy. Until next time ..hugs xx

Twisted Easel Card Video tutorial

Hello I have received such a large number of emails requesting a tutorial for the twisted easel card that I decided to get to work straight away. Now I definitely haven't invented this fold but I never found a tutorial for it either. So I did work out the tutorial myself and since going live a lovely lady RUTH has been in touch with me and she managed to create the same card using a C6 card scored the same, it works the same so I will edit the tutorial. You can see Ruth's beautiful card HERE . Thank you Ruth for getting in touch. xx
Ok here is  the tutorial, I hope you enjoy it !!!
Till next time

Birthday Passionette Bliss Sale a Bration set

Hello there. I am hoping you are enjoying your weekend. I have some crafting time planned and I am hoping to shoot some new videos as is been a while and I did say I will start offering more of them.
Is Louise's Happy Birthday today and I hope she is having a fabulous day. I love it when your birthday falls on the weekend us even more special somehow as you have the time off work.
Louise loves Olive so my card for her was based around Old Olive. I have paired it with Blushing Bride here and made another twisted easel card. For those of you that emailed me about this type of card keep your eyes peeled as I will have a tutorial soon.
I have chosen the Bliss Sale a Bration set as is still my favourite and turned away from the Vintage look I have been featuring so far with this set. As you can see it works just as beautiful for a clean look.

The Blushing Bride patterned paper I have used is Free as well. Is part of the hostess benefits reward youcan get when you host a workshop with me or place an order with a value of £150.
Of course if you do that you will also earn 3 free Sale a bration stamp sets plus £15 worth of merchandise.
Can't hold a workshop and you do not want to spend all that money in one go? No problem !! You can join a virtual hostess club. I have ONE more place in a club starting at the end of this month so get in touch to reserve it NOW.
One more close up of my card, the photos are not that brillinat as they have been taken with my I-phone love the phone not in  love with the camera on it.

I have added some obligatory rhinestones to the butterflies bodies and used the gorgeous Sweet Friend sentiment form the Hello You stamp set. I hope you like it and more importantly I hope Louise liked it.
Enjoy your weekend come back Monday for a FUN video. Till then Hugs xx

NO SALE A BRATION on these projects..

Hello there my lovely blogging friends, gasp I took a break for our current Sale A Bration stamp sets to make this beautiful duo for one of my stamping friends birthday.
I have delivered it so I can share it on my blog with you all. I went a bit angle crazy here. The card is one of those new twisted easel cards and the box is a triangular shape. Now before you ask the dsp is a retired one form a scrapping kit SU used to sell, I am on a mission of using up my stashed stash *wink*
Ok I have to confess that I cannot stop using our satin ribbon, I am addicted to the lovely colours and this pumpkin pie is my fave by far. You know me and my love for bright colours.
Onto the card
A mixture of Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Pumpkin Pie with a bit of Olive thrown in. One of my other favourite things right now is the most gorgeous alphabet called Broadsheet it simply is the loveliest thing, I am working on some scrapbooking projects with it I hope to share with you at some point.
Ok I stamped the stem and the dotty leaves from the SWEETHEART set in olive and used the Fancy Flower  and the Boho Blossom punches to add a dimensional bloom, pearls were added to the centre of the flower. I have used Ali's initial on her card using the Broadsheet alpha as I know this is an alphabet that she is coveting so I wonder if she will finally cave in and buy it at her next workshop? The tiny bird was stamped, cut out and popped up with dimensionals.
The box
Made from one sheets of 12x12 designer paper scored at 3" and folded as a triangle I fiddled about with the bottom closures and Voilà a different type of gift box.
I adore the top flower made entirely from the large Heart Punch put through the crimper, a circle of paper was completely covered in snail adhesive and a length of satin ribbon was twisted around to form the centre of the flower.
I want the day to get longer so that I can take some decent photos, these ended up bad yet again as is was gloomy by 4.30 when I got to photograph them. Oh well
I hope you enjoyed my pretties today till next time HUGS xxx
