Birthday Passionette
Hello there how are you today . I blog this from my phone at the NEC I have a 20 min lunch break and getting this post in quickly. We are here exhibiting on stand D35 so if you re coming pop in and say hello.
Today is a special day as is Joanne s Happy Birthday . Jo Jo is my good friend and my Downline and I get to see her almost every day as we work together as well.
Here's the card I made for her she loves blues so here it is

A sea of blues and greens. I adore this set Growing Green and never gave it an inking yet so this was a good excuse. I stamped the images on Shimmery card stock and watercoloured it with the aquabrushes and our ink pads. The card is a simple easel card in Old Olive Marina Mist and a bit of turquoise for adding interest to the coloured flowers. The leaves have been coloured using old olive and wild wasabi. The patterned paper comes from the designer stack and rhinestones have been dotted around for extra sparkle.

Heres a close up sirry pictures are a bit small will enlarge them later on. Jo Jo have a fab birthday my love, and if you are reading this Issy I wish you the happiest of Birthdays too. Right got to go now big hugsxx

YIPEEEEEE.. IT WAS BRILLIANT
Hello there WOWEEE we had such a good weekend, tiring and hard work and it gave me a sore throat and a chesty cough but I loved it so much it was BRILL;
The stand
We had SO many samples on display crafters couldn’t quite believe it and they ended up coming back more than just one time. If you are one of my blog readers THANK YOU FOR POPPING BY AND SAYING HELLO, I loved meeting you all.
The tree … can you see the tree? OMG let me tell you this was the baine of our lives, heavy cos I added lots of cement to the pot and awkward but it looked fabulous and it will look even better on our NEC stand next weekend as it will have lots more birds on it, we had lots of compliments on it, thank you :).

We had a display stand to the left, next a browsing and ordering station then product and sample display area and at the other end our demo table.
THE TEAM, and what a team let me tell you..

Lovely Jo, Ali and Linz. Preparing and working on these events is hard work and is so easy to become cranky and moody when you get tired, I can honestly say that I loved working with these girls so much, not even when the going got tough did they show any of the above signs, they are truly fabulous and I love them. I am so grateful to each of them, I am also grateful to those that helped me and supported me behind the scenes you know who you are girls, a massive THANK YOU to you all.
Help hired

And at the end of the day we were very tired, so we got smart and hired the staff from the show to help us clean our stamps *smile*, bless his little cotton socks, he was such a good sport we did tell him he would be famous.
My fave picture was from Sunday, while the main show awarded their prizes it got a bit quiet on the stalls so we jumped at the chance to cool down and balance those sugar levels a bit LOL, so yummy..

THANK YOU to everyone that visited us over the last 2 days of the show customers and demonstrators alike, we loved having you and we hope you loved seeing our display.
Till next time here’s the virtual tour of the stand, thank you and see you again soon, till then big hugs xxx

Great Northern Papercraft Extravaganza
Helloooooooo...Woohooo buuuuuusy day ahead today and tomorrow and Sunday :).
Today some of my fabby team and I are heading for the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate to set up our booth for the upcoming show this weekend.
My hallway is crammed packed with stuff and I am still trying to tick off things of my list but I should be finished shortly, she says optimistically.
I am showing two very simple cards I made lately with quite limited supplies, well not limited but a pre chosen kit let's say.
Bright colour combo of Marina Mist, Certainly Celery, Early Espresso and zingy Pumpkin Pie it all looks like the greenhouse gala DSP don't you think?
The scallop trim punch and the sweet Butterfly Prints stamp set, I love this set purely because it has a matching punch that is always such a bonus, matching punch equals quick :) Quick card that uses just ink paper and a punch or two.
Next one is not as successful but I still like. I am drawn to symmetric cards as I am a bit of a symmetry freak and these flutters lend themselves nicely to this kind of look and layout.
This time I used just one colour ink Rose red and my card stock was Certainly Celery and Early Espresso, I have made a classic mistake here with this card. When you choose colour for your projects you should consider picking at least 3 colours or more but no more than five really (unless you're making a tone on tone card or going for the monochrome look). I always try and have a main colour that is picked up in different parts on my project (example ink, ribbon, card) then balance the rest of the colours out . Well you can see how wrong I got it here with this card, is not a bad card at all is just not as nicely balanced as it could have been. I should have added some orange brads to the bodies of the flutters and stamp my sentiment in espresso ink. I still like the layout and I love this set, it is so very easy to work with, these cards only took me 10 minutes each and if you look at the layout is virtually the same just turned a bit. I love stunning cards that take forever but the reality is that I cannot always take an hour of my time to make just one card, so having such fabulous coordination that SU products are offering me is what keeps me so in love with this Company, I can never make a bad card even if I tried.
Right I need to dash hopefully I will see you soon with a video of the stand, remember that tree I was telling you about? I am dying to see it in situ.
If you're visiting this weekend make sure you come and say hello, and if you mention my blog you get an extra draw into the FREE PRIZE *SWEET*.
Have a great weekend everyone, till next time big hugs xxx
ps. I found more buttons so I still have another 12 kits in brights the first 10 sold out in 2 days. So if you fancy a bit of pretty on your wrists buy a kit today.

PUBLISHED and lovely bracelets kits
Hello there how are you? Are you a subscriber of Crafts Beautiful magazine? if you are you probably got your lovely copy by now or indeed got to buy it in your local store and you spotted a few goodies designed by myself in it. I was gobsmacked and delighted when Sarah asked me many months ago if I was willing to prepare an article for their April addition. Of course I jumped at the chance and I still feel honoured she asked me.
At the time (December) it was fun to take time out from the winter colours and Christmas inspired projects and play with some bright and breezy colours and I have to say I love the finished ensamble . Here it is
The colours I have used are Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Early Espresso.
I have used my beloved Broadsheet alphabet stamps ( I simply love this and I am looking for a good excuse to give one away here on my blog) and the very useful Party This Way. This is such a fabulous set for children, men and women old and young alike, I love it. I have also used a selection of punches and some die cut shapes and glittery chipboard letters. What do you think? I am still awaiting my copy but I might sneak out today and try and find it in the shops, oh and if by any chance you want me to sign your copy a flat fee of £4.95 will apply ROFL. ( I kid, I kid honestly lol)
Last week I showed you the beautiful bracelets I have made for my team members that attended Stampin' Up! Regional Trainings events and I have also mentioned that I will have a few kits for sale here on my blog.
Well here they are you will get everything you need to make one of those little beauties.
The cost of the bracelets including postage is £5.99. I have 10 kits of brights bracelets pictured above that I could send out straight away but if you want a different colour collection the wait will be about 10 days in total. Please state your choice of colour when ordering, to buy now simply click on the Buy it Now button below, thank you.

THANK YOU and a new addition to the family..
Hello there how are you? I hope you had a fab weekend relaxing. I will start by thanking you all from the bottom of my heart for all your emails, text messages, facebook messages as well as comments on my blog, I appreciate you taking the time to think of me I am so grateful THANK YOU !!
Mum has survived a 12 hour operation last Tuesday which was amazing in itself, however she is not out of the woods yet and the next few days remain critical. She is a fighter is my mum with a tremendous positive attitude( that's where I get mine from I am sure) and already has amazed her surgeon and other professionals that are looking after her, so please keep her in your prayers a little while longer. My sister is still out there with her and I am so grateful for her, there's not much we can do right now but it comforts me to think she has one of us there with her at least.
And I have some of the sweetest news, we recently introduced a new member to our family. We spent this last Christmas with my cousin's daughter and her husband in Germany. They were expecting their first born and Lia was such a beautiful expectant mum. I had the pleasure of taking some gorgeous pregnancy shots of her while there and here's one of my favourites
And a few weeks back baby Sofia (I adore her name) entered the world safe via a C section as she was quite a big young lady. She is adorable and I am counting the days till I can meet her properly, here's a shot of the new family together isn't this the sweetest thing ever?
I am so happy for them all, and because we were their spiritual parents at their wedding Sofia is our first God Daughter all very exciting stuff I am sure this little bundle of joy will get spoilt a lot we are made up with her.
And this was the card I made to welcome Sofia into the world
I fell in love with this card made by Lisa Young and kept it in my inspiration folder knowing I wanted to use it for this little one's birth. I did change it a bit and added the scallop trim to the top of the carriages and made it into an easel card but I kept the rest pretty much the same as it was so very perfect.
My combo is Regal Rose, Baja Breeze, Old Olive and So Saffron based on the sweet Nursery accessories, these sweet elements make light work for quick baby projects and I loved using them, I have also put together an lovely album for mum and dad to add pictures of their precious angel in the first few months and these elements were so easy and quick to work with I think I finished a whole album in the space of 4 hours.
I will share pictures of the album soon with you all.
A close up shows you that the carriages were made from the Curly Label punch and the square scallop punch was used to add the trim at the top. The wheels have been made with various circles and topped with a rhinestone for some extra bling. Satin ribbon tied in a bow keeps the easel card up and the sentiment is from the Curly Cute stamp set. The animals from the Fox and Friends set have been inked up using our fabulous markers.
I want to thank you for visiting me and once again for your support it means a lot to me, till next time BIG HUGS xx

All things bright and beautiful
Hello there, I have a really bright project to share with you today. I have totally cased this card from a SU publication, used the same colours but changed the stamp set. I have decided to use the On a Pedestal stamp set.
The daffodil satin ribbon was ruffled and a pumpkin pie button added to it. I have also did an bit of decoupage, see it here in the close up shot a bit better
The small flowers are from the Boho Blossom punch and the sentiment was inked using markers.
Hope you like my cheery card today thank you for stopping by.
Till next time big hugs xxx

Vintage Vogue
hello there how are you? well I hope.
Today I have another card done with an old set. Vintage vogue was a set I instantly loved when released last April and I have used it a lot over the last year. Today I have tried a different combination and is MY NEW FAVE !!!
Basic gray, River Rock and Pretty in Pink. Isn't it such a fab combo? I love it!!!
I stamped the vine in Basic Black on Gray card blank. The River Rock layer was stamped in River Rock ink for a subtle watermark effect.
The white was edged using the Scallop Trim border punch, then everything was stamped cut out and added to a 1 3/4" circle. Pretty in Pink satin ribbon and rhinestones complete the glam look of this card.
Here s a close up

Team training ....
hello there today I should have been in Leeds attending a Regional training run by the Company, a few members of my team are attending and I am so sad to have missed spending some time with them. I am sure they are all having a blast and I did say that the training will be a lot quieter for all attending.
Before I left I have sent all those a little gift.
Aren't they fabby? I just love them and I am wearing one every day I have made myself different colour ones to match my outfits LOL I have seen these bracelets at convention in Nov. one of my fellow demonstrators had them as an organized swap. I love jewellery and I love SU bright buttons so it was an obvious choice for the girlies, I just hope my lovely Pasionettes loved them as well.
They were made using the Brights buttons collection. I hope you like them too I will have some kits ready to purchase on my blog next week, keep your eyes open for them.
Thank you for stopping by till next time HUGS xxx

Bold Birthday......
Hello there, as I am away I will keep those updates somewhat short ish not that my entries are that long but sometimes they are.
Birthdays have an habit to creep up on you so I took 2 hours and challenged myself to make four cards, anyway 3 hours later I made three. This was one of them
This card uses an old favourite of mine, I don't want this set to ever retire. Simple card and this one took me about 20 minutes to pout together after i decided what to do , is the deciding that takes the most time when creating isn't it?
Anyway I have used Soft Suede card and ink for the base of the card and the base of the cupcakes. Then for the frosting I choose bright colours, Real red, tempting Turquoise and it was meant to be daffodil delight but I chose the So Saffron here by mistake ( I have done that last week hope is not getting a habit).
The colours go together well and it was only when I looked at the bright flower brad that I spotted my mistake, those brads coordinate so well with out inks and our colours as you can see above. They are sweet topped with a rhinestone as well they make quick and sweet accents. You will have noticed my background and might ask yourself where is that flower from? I simply stamped the bow meant to go on the gift stamp twice back to back to get it on my card base.
Thank you so much for visiting see you again soon. Till next time HUGS xxx
