Hello there,
Ten Years ago the month of June became pivotal in my journey with Stampin'Up! Of course at the time I was totally clueless just what an amazing journey it would be, or that it would become my full time job.
The company were running a recruiting special that resulted in me signing up 6 lovely ladies that month, and this was the start of it all and the foundation of my business.
TWO of these lovely girls Julie Kettleweel and Bekka Prideaux, are still with me 10 years on, and they have become leaders of successful Stampin'Up! Businesses themselves.
Here we all are on the Prague Incentive Trip in 2011, in a dark cathedral so not best picture but I love how relaxed we all are in this picture (obvious holiday mode). It was a wonderful trip and together we experienced so many over the years.
I love and respect them and the way they have conducted their businesses, and I am eternally grateful for the help and support they have shown me over the years.
What's even more incredible is that they signed up within 2 days of each other so as I prepared to recognise their milestones last week I choose to make two cards the same.
I am still mourning the loss of the fabulous numbers dies (they are now retired), but I won't part with mine easily, as they come in handy preparing for anniversaries for my team members and milestones birthday.
And there is hardly any stamping on them, apart from a little gold embossed detail at the base, those funky splatters come from the Artisan Textures set.
The frames are from the fabulous Petal Promenade Designer Paper Pack, and its breathtaking. If you have preordered one of my Paper Shares this gorgeous pack is part of it, you can find out more details about the share here.
Even the marbled background comes from the same pack as it the background behind the numbers.
After embossing the gold I simply tied a little Polka Dot Tulle bow for some extra texture and oomph and topped it with one of the tinted facetted buttons. The card base if you are wondering its Gray Granite one of the new colours introduced this year.
Thank you so much for your visit today, I hope to see you again soon
Lots of love
Monica
