Sunday projects..

Hi everyone I am sorry I fell asleep on the sofa last night. i am sharing the last two classes from Sunday. We started off the day with this little beauty

main 1

I found the great recessed trays at The Range all the way back in June and I knew I would turn them into a class for the Retreat. Beau Chateau is the most wonderful paper ever with the added bonus of the gorgeous words, I will truly miss these papers.

step 19 The handles were made of rusty wire with some chunky crystal beads strung onto it, so pretty and fitted the whole projects so well.

The big flower was made with the Fun Flowers Bigz Die and that yummy crumb cake tulle.

step 21

And of course what project would be complete without the addition of an Antique brad or two oh and some pearls?

step 20

Artistic Etchings stamp set provided us with some extra fun accents to decorate the frame. Hope you like it.

After a yummy Sunday lunch of rib eye of beef with all the trimmings including giant Yorkshire puddings we were ready to go again.

Our second project was a box my sweet friend Moira shared with me during our weekend in Alsace (thank you honey) It is a secret book and matching card

step 1

I love Calypso Coral paired with Soft Suede and Vanilla its a very elegant combo. The stamp set use is the pretty Creative Elements. Here’s a little close up,

step 9   and the card

step 12

Sentiment from For My Family stamp set. Lots of fussy cutting on these two projects.

It was the most amazing weekend made special by the people attending an amazing group of friends. Everyone had very positive feedbacks after the event and we cannot wait to do it all over again. I booked 2 more dates for next year and if we do not book fully internally I will publicise the details here on my blog.

Thank you for stopping to visit me see you again soon, on Sunday maybe as I am travelling down to London today for a Dinosaur Stampede  Party, cannot wait , till then hugs xxx

  2. Wow - more stunning projects. If you don't fill it internally, I would be seriously tempted to join you - would be nice to be the one making fab projects instead of the one running around organising!
