And I created a wonderfully bright and elegant birthday ensemble.
I chose Brusho's again for my colouring medium, I simply cannot leave those fab powders alone. Love the fact that they are so instant and you never quite know what you get at the end.
Is it just me or do you feel the same? I feel like the colours that highlight this particular suite in the catalogue are bit Marmite like ( you either love them or you hate them), while I do not hate them, I wanted to change them up a little for something different.
The colours used were : Flirty Flamingo for my card base, stamped the Cake Soiree stamps onto watercolour paper,
A little scalloped edge made with this gorgeous punch, a few cut roses, from Peek a Boo Peach Cardstock and little splashes of Berry Burst like in this yummy Silver Edged Ribbon
The sentiment was stamped in black and some of THESE sequins were added for a little sparkle.
For the gift box I started with one of our Mini Gable Boxes, these little boxes are so cute made up and I love that they come flat so you can keep them in stock and whip one out when you need a quick gift box.
I kept things really simple because the clever embossing made such a big beautiful different to it I really didn't want to distract the eye too much.
The embossing folder I have used is from the Petal Pair and it matches this suite perfectly.
So what do you think? Do you like this colour combination for this suite? I hope you do now hop along and go see what my sweet friend has in store for you...
Thank you for visiting me
