Christmas Scrapbooking Club

Hello there how are you today? I was heavily back in Christmas mode yesterday teaching my first scrapbooking club of the year. Yep after a looong time planning is finally happening. I am scrapping again and I couldn’t be happier to be honest.
We made two pages, had a lot of fun and enjoyed a very decadent apple, apricot and date filled shortbread.
full sleigh
We used the fabby holly berry designer paper and on our first page we made this wonderful present filled sleigh using the top note die. I saw these all over the Internet but I believe the original idea belonged to Lori Heilling. They all turned out so good, I only wish you could see these pages in real life, they all have accents made from the fabulous red glimmer paper and they do sparkle like mad against the dark espresso card base. The sleigh was made from the top note die and the Swirl Scribbles sizzlets die. The presents to fill it were pieces of designer paper cut with square punches and topped with bows and other pretty accents.

Look at that paper… yummy!!
Next page followed a similar layout with space for four smaller photographs this time.
full tree
The Serene Snowflakes stamp set was stamped in white ink and a mixture of shimmer spray mixed with white reinker was sprayed over to help with the flurry of snow look.
The tree was made using the pennant die and a crazy mixture of different size punched circles in various designs were used to adorn the tree.

The title was cut using the Timeless Type sizzlets alphabet.

Birthday Passionette!!

Hello there I hope you are well and you’re enjoying a fabulous and warm day, is been glorious round here!! As I type this I can smell the BBQ hubs is cooking for us and as soon as I’m done I am off to find something cool and refreshing to drink.
Today Jules one of my Passionette is celebrating her Happy Birthday !! Jules has been with me 3 years she is a very successful demonstrator, a talented crafter and a sweet friend. I am so glad she chose our team, over the years we have shared two fab Incentive Trips together, and we are both going to Vienna next year.
Onto the card I made for her. On my records Jules put down as fave colour Brown although I also know she likes a particular shade of green very much, unfortunately SU don’t do it yet, so I chose a combo of Chocolate Chip, Melon Mambo and Baja Breeze .

I had to make a baby card last week and I had Little Additions stamp set left on my desk. So on a whisper white I stamped the bunting from this set in the three colours stated above, next I added a Choc Chip layer and ran it through the Big Shot on the Square Lattice folder.  I then added a little gems in between the colourful bunting. Pinwheels are so on trend right now and I had to try this idea after seeing a lot of samples all over the net. I have used a square punch and some bright designer paper to make them, they turned up so cute and they are so perfect for a Summer Celebration. jules close 1
To make them cut towards the centre of the square from each point then simply fold the points towards the centre. The points were stuck down with a glue dot and a small rhinestone was added to the middle. I didn’t have any wooden cocktail sticks in the house (can you believe that?) so I have used spaghetti instead (so glad I used to watch all them Blue Peter programs, I knew all that would come in handy some day).
The sentiment is from the Curly Cute stamp set,  I used baja breeze seam binding to tie a bow and the eyelet punch was used for the decorative edge.
I am glad to say that Jules liked her card!!! Jules I  hope you had a fabulous day and thank you for all you do.
Ok I am off to eat my tea and hopefully I will see you very soon. Till then Big Hugs xxx

Birthday Passionette

Hello there well are you excited to see the wedding on Friday? I cannot wait and I have Sky plus it just to make sure I won’t be missing it and to look back over it of course.
Last Sunday it was Tracey’s Happy Birthday, Tracey is a Passionette who lives in Northern Ireland so if you’re in need of a demo that way please let me know and I will put you in touch with her. we haven’t met yet but spoke on the phone I know one day we will get there. Tracey likes purple and her card reflected that. Here’s what I did
eggsI used the Strength and Hope set, I love this set and I love the fact that is a charity set as well, also in a different colour other than pink it looks beautiful and you realise that is so versatile.
Elegant Eggplant cardstock and matching designer paper combined with very vanilla and crumb cake.
butterfly close The butterflies have been inked in pale plum first then I have added extra colour with a Elegant Eggplant marker, the markers are the best for adding more than one colour or shade to a stamp.  I cut 2 top Note die shapes with my Big Shot and to layer them I have simply cut the tiny perforated border away.
Then I have made a lush and crumpled ribbon bow using the crumb cake seam binding.
bow close
To achieve this beautiful and rather scruffy looking ribbon treatment you simply spritz some water onto the seam binding and scrunch it in your hands, I love the effect and topped it here with a pale plum button which in turn got a bit of a champagne glass glitter treatment. My card doesn’t have a sentiment on the front as I really couldn’t make it work, the ribbon took a lot of the space and the butterflies demand nearly all of the attention so I have stamped it inside of the card, instead.
inside The greeting comes from Perfect punches set and it has been punched out with the coordinating Extra Large Oval punch then layered onto a designer paper layer punched out with the decorative Label punch.
Tracey I hope you had a special day and enjoyed it lots I also hope you loved your card.
I also want to wish Linda one of my other Passionettes a very Happy Birthday for today, I will share Linda’s card later with a bit of a story attached.

Like the look of this stamp set? Well don’t forget the STAMP OUT BREAST CANCER Event which starts in a few weeks. Read all about HERE and order your kit Now, I have spent some time before this weekend cutting and bagging all the kits you will simply adore the projects.
Thank you for joining me hope to see you again soon, till then BIG HUGS xx
