Love my BUG!!!

Yeah that s right my Cricut Expression came on monday(God has it been that long since I ve last blogged??? SORRY) and I LOVE IT!!! I always said that I wont really need one and I still don t think I ll be using it lots but let me tell you something I just know that it will prove invaluable for cutting accents and letters and all that stuff. LOve love love it!!!

Ok are you part of the uks comunity? I f you are and you love cardmaking why don t you join me in a Christmas card swap I m hosting over there? You can find the thread here and there is still a few places left. Common it will be fun to get some ideas from diferent people and we all need loads of Chrissy cards.. it will be quite nice to have them all ready and waiting for when you need them. While I m on the subject of UKS comunity I was feeling poorly pants last week and mentioned it on the boards in my team thread, so one one of my team members very kindly sent me a Merry Bella stamp(wich I don t have) to cheer me up. Thank you sooo much Deb you re a very kind girl for thinking of me and I love you !!!
I have been making a few cards well one of them is actually a voucher one, one of our colleagues in work, she celebrated her 50 th birthday yesterday and us in the office put some money towards some vouchers but the cards they came with were a bit uninspiring so I ve offered to make a more fetching one, trouble was I only had a bout 20 min to make it. So here it is

I ve used some pink cardstock wich I ve embossed with a CB folder, drawn and handcut the flowers some matting a bit of organza ribbon, and a sentiment from the riveting set by SU. Simple and very easy to make but the colour combo makes it quite striking.

Now I ve made a card for Alex s blog candy giveaway(cos she s driving the boards nuts on uks LOL), you had to make a tent topper card, you probably know my sentiments regarding this type of cards, I dont dislike them as such, but I m not entirly sure they work either IYKWIM. Alex has some really nice examples on her blog but I m still to be convinced they are for me. Anyway here it is

I ve used a Real Dill stamp from Hero Arts and instead of ink I ve used my watercolour pencils and then stamped the image onto watercolour card. Layered and distressed the edges punched a hole for my ribbon with my crop o dile, and used some of my other fancy scissors instead of the scalloped ones for a change. Some rain drops domes SU sentiment and thats it. I promise The next projects I post will be something that I have made with my BUG promise!!! See ya!!!
