Ok then, my first card is the one where I ve used the chalks to higlight my main image and I ve had so many lovely responses from it, I m glad you liked it, I think chalk get a bit overlooked so hopefully you ll have a go at using them more.
Ok so I ve usedbashful blue cardbase, stamped the En francaise background from SU onto Whisper White with Cert. Celery, a Pumpkin Pie layer of cardstock was embossed with the textile CB embossing folder, it was then sponged with more Pumpkin Pie ink, Bashful blue taffeta ribbon, and Old Olive was punched with the Threading Water punch from Fiskars, the oval was cut with the Nestabilities die and the scallop was made using the same scallop punch that I ve used for the border as I havent bought the scalloped nesties cos I ve figured i could only use my scallop scissors or like shown here the border punch, so I saved a few pennies didnt I?lol
Next is that naughty frog that just didn twant to spin for me, it really showed be up didnt he? Is a good job I really like him otherwise I could have done him some harm with a pair of sharp scissors.
Cutie Pie papers, the So saffron layer was stamped with So saffron ink and the edges were sponged with same. It does spin now just fine, and you ll have to take my word for it. LOL
HUGS and stampin kisses M xx
I love both these cards Monica. I have watched all your video tutorials and think that they are great. I'm sure they are not as easy to do as you make them look! They're like sitting in on a crafting session with a friend. It made me feel better that your spinner didn't work at first either - just like mine! Really like the chalking effect. Will be giving that a try as soon as I get the chance.
