Ughh.. not a good start to the year

Hello there I am here back in the land of living. I was struck down by the nasty Norovirus since Thursday night and let me tell you it was not fun, and it couldn’t have come to a worst time (is there ever a good time?) as yesterday I was supposed to run our first Quarterly training session of the year and didn’t make it Sad smile I was gutted.  However my team are just brilliant and helped Bekka who I run the sessions with, she was a superstar in taking over my load and did a brilliant job, I am so grateful to them all, THANK YOU EVERYONE.
The training was all geared up around the New Mini catalogue and I designed loads of projects that I will share with you over the next few days.
This first card is one that I will be making at my upcoming workshops, perfect make n take using the new create a cupcake stamp set and matching punch.

Colour combo is Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party. Everyone received a share of designer paper from the In colour designer stack in their kits so all the projects were designed around these colours.
This card also uses the big 2 3/8” circle scallop punch.
This second card follows exactly the same layout turned on his head.
Pink Pirouette,Pool Party and Lucky Limeade.

The stamp set is You are loved, and the bird punch was used to create the bird on the branch. Tiny itty bitty flowers were punched from red glimmer paper, love this paper is really sparkly without any glitter shedding, got to love that !!
I love the Lucky limeade pop of colour here, everyone got a bolt of ruffled  ribbon as well in their kit.
Is feels to be back now i am feeling better but I have a mountain of stuff to be getting on with so sorry about the short post.
Don’t forget about my Simply adorned giveaway,

  2. Hi Monica: My heart goes out to you on having the Norovirus. I had it twice when I worked in assisted living facility. Nasty, nasty stuff.

  4. Hi Monica - sorry to hear you have been so poorly, and I'm glad you're on the mend now. I can fully understand you feeling gutted that you had to miss the training at the weekend.
I love your bright cheerful cards - the teeny red flowers look gorgeous on the Valentine card.

    Love, Andrea xx
