Back to reality..

Hello there hope you had a good weekend. I will start by  THANKING YOU for your lovely comments about my gorgeous little Luca.

I have had the most wonderful week with him and I am already counting the weeks before we will get to spend more time together. He has been an angel inspite of suffering with a cold that he kindly passed on to me now. We went sledging, we made new friends, we visited old ones, we built a dragon at the Build A Bear Factory, we sang along as loud as we could to our favourite songs on our car journeys, we bounced on the bed, we tickled each other and laughed until our bellies hurt and we enjoyed lots and lots of cuddles (no wonder I got his cold). I miss him already but deffo not missing the 6am wake up calls. I am back to normal from today so hopefully I will blog a bit more regularly.

Today I am sharing a card I demonstrated at a workshops last Tuesday.

It showcases the embedded technique and the ladies LOVED the split paper 3D flower using the Extra Large Flower punch.

To make them you need to punch out 5 flowers in card stock then scrunch them up enough to break down all the fibers until the layers begin to separate. You then peel away until you end up with two layers from one punched up shape.

Simply add all of the layers together, secure with a brad then scrunch up the layers to create a fabulously full bloom.

Spot the spotty brad in the centre? Love these so much at the moment.

Colours used are

Pool party, Poppy Parade and Very Vanilla, Papers Everyday Enchantment

Ribbon: Old Olive spotty

Brad: Pool Party spotty

Thank you for stopping by I have a few emails to answer now so I’ll better get going.

Till next time big hugs xxx
