Easter Blossom Stampin’Up!

Hellooo, its set up day for the Harrogate Show today and its going to be a quick post.
I am sharing the last card we made in the Stamp Club last Sunday.  A while ago a sweet fellow demonstrator Maria showcased a fabulous group of cards on her blog made using the Easter Blossom stamp set and a cool technique that I haven’t visited in ages, the faux mother of pearl.  I was inspired to create this card
march class tech
Colours a bit unexpected Smile,  Melon Mambo, More Mustard designer paper and Certainly Celery.
We used glossy card stock and sponged it with Frost White Shimmer Paint, we then brayered the background with Bashful Blue ink. The branch was then stamped in Staz on ink and coloured using a blender pen and a Melon mambo reinker.
And here’s a sneak peek to the gorgeous cherry branch, not sure you can see the sheen from the shimmer paint on the surface but it is there I promise

Thank you Maria for inspiring me and thank you for popping on to visit me today. Hope to see you again soon, if you are attending the Harrogate Show this weekend, pop in and see us Smile. Big  hugs to you all xx

  1. This card is so beautiful, I love the branch it's one of my favourite stamps at the mo! I'd never even heard of the faux mother of pearl technique, do you have to use bashful blue over the top? This is a colour I dont have yet, so could you use any pale colour?
