Hello there I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I had a fab and busy week and it culminated with a fabulous all day training event that I just returned home from. I missed our January one because I was poorly so it was extra special seeing everyone again. We had lots of fun projects prepared as well as 3 Demo Booths showcasing a fabulous range of projects some using upcoming new product. I won’t show you the video and the pictures just yet but I promise you I will next week.
And I am celebrating as early this week I earned a FREE holiday to Utah USA. The holiday is for two people and I am taking my long suffering hubby, subject to him behaving himself this June when we are off to Vienna courtesy of Stampin’Up! yet again for FREE!!! I am so grateful to work for such an amazing company, I work my business and I get paid for it, I get commission on all my sales, performance bonuses, FREE stamps and FREE product and on top of all that they send you on a FREE luxurious holiday every year. I do not know of many companies that will offer you free holidays for doing your job well, STAMPIN’UP! does . My lovely team of Passionettes and my customers have played a key role in achieving this wonderful trip, without their support I would have not been in this position so Massive, Huge THANK YOU’s just doesn’t seem to be enough. I am very thankful to each and every one of them.
I also want to say thank you to all of you that have sent me lovely emails and cards you are all very sweet, from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU !!!
Now I have been crafting lots and you will see A LOT of stuff on this blog next week, I might even post every day as I have so much to show you, however for today I have pictures of my last cake I have to make for a while.
Fit for a little princess this two tier Christening creation was a joy to make. I had free reign apart from it needed to have a pair of white bootees and not be too pink.
The 10” bottom layer was a vanilla sponge cake with vanilla cream filling, and the 6” top a luscious lemon sponge with home made (in the Thermomix of course) fresh lemon butter and butter cream.
I wanted the cake to have a slight vintage feel to it so I chose pretty crumpled roses instead of perfectly shaped ones. They were shaped entirely by hand, not with cutters or forms with dark centres gradually getting lighter.
The booties were also hand shaped with piped details and a pearly white shimmer brushed over the top.
Tiny dots were hand piped around the bottom tier and the pink covered board and a Stampin’Up! organza double bow adorned the top tier. The tiny dots were shimmered as well to look like pearls, so cute and delicate.
And here’s the sweet little baby boots, you can hopefully see the pretty shimmer on them.
Thank you for stopping by I am off to visit a sweet friend who did something amazing this week, she got married IN SECRET!!!! WOW, now let me tell you I never seen that one coming
Big hugs xxx
