Hello everyone, yesterday it was Dawn’s special day. I don’t get to see Dawn as much as I would like as she is far down South but I am excited as we have a date booked to spend a full day crafting soon, I cannot wait.
Dawn likes pink and here’s the card I have made her
Blushing Bride, Daffodil delight and Whisper White are the main colours with a hint of Pear Pizzaz and Pool party added in the colouring. I love this hostess set in the New Mini Catalogue it reminds me of the retired Loads of Love stamp set.
It’s a clean design and I tried to refrain myself from adding to much to it but as you can see I couldn’t help myself and had to use the diagonal plate to add a bit of embossing to the pink mat. The bike was stamped in black ink onto whisper white and cut out using the framelits and the Big Shot machine.
I used the Stamp a MA Jig to add the cake and the balloons to the bike and coloured everything using our marvellous markers.
Once everything was coloured in I outlined everything with the Pool Party marker added some rhinestones and some dazzling diamonds for extra sparkle.
I cannot wait to play more with this set and if you like it it could be yours for FREE just contact me to arrange your free workshop and you can earn it as part of your hostess benefits, or JOIN MY VIRTUAL CLUB starting at the end of this month.
Last Saturday I attended a fabulous training event organized by the Company with loads of our team members,it was so good to meet up with them all again and also with my good demo friends. Amongst all the ladies there was 13 of my direct Passionettes. And I have made everyone a little gift using Stampin’Up! Twitterpated fabric..
Some lovely artist wallets!!! I have to say my sewing skills are not fantastic and if the girls looked close enough they would know what I mean but I was very pleased with the outcome and they were not difficult at all once I figured out my sandwich etc.
Here’s the inside
Perfect for storing and carrying all these crafty essentials The wallet closes with thin magnets and I decorated the front with the lovely Bird Die from the mini catalogue. I simply cut the bird out in fabric then attached it to the flap using a zig zag stich
Pleated ribbon in Riding Hood red was glued on the shaped flap simply because I didn’t want extra stitching showing. Tiny buttons topped with rhinestones were glued as eyes and centre of the paper punch flowers.
the girls loved them I hope you do to. Thank you for stopping by and until next time big crafty hugs xxx
those are fabulous! I bet the girls will love them and not even think about looking at the stitches :)
