Jubilee Celebrations Stampin’Up! style

Hello everyone hope your weekend was good, I had a buzzing one as my September Retreat booked virtually straight away. I have chatted with so many lovely and excited ladies and they managed to get me even more excited about this event if that was at all possible Smile. After a call to the venue this morning I managed to secure six more places but 3 of them have gone already, Saturday day is fully booked and for Sunday Day Option there are only 3 places left. If you are thinking about joining us please let me know as soon as you can.

Yesterday morning we had Card Club and our theme was Red, Blue and White.

We have a lot to celebrate this Summer in the UK and we started with a simple yet fit for any celebration project.

How lovely do they look? I presented them in the baked goodies for the club so that they can bee seen in action Smile. I baked yummy chocolate and banana mini loafs made of course in the Thermomix, my only regret is that I didn’t fill the individual mini loafs higher, I wasn’t sure how much my mixture would rise so they ended up looking a bit mean.

I have also made myself a super quick union jack template and dusted the tops with some icing sugar. here’s a top view

Everyone got to make 12 different cocktail sticks toppers in various designs. Colours used were Real Red and Pacific Point, stamp sets used were Creatively Yours, Artistic Etchings and Tiny Tags and Pennant Parade. We also used a variety of punches, Scallop Circle, 1 1/4”circle, Perfect Pennants, and the small circle from the Owl Punch. Sparkly rhinestones acted as diamonds on the crowns. I thought they would work well for a club project and I am sure they will feature in our Scrapbook Club later on in the Year. We also made 2 cards which I will show next time.
