Hello everyone lovely to have you here. My meet with the Venue for my Paperie Treat went so well yesterday and I am soo excited!! The staff are taking a real interest in my type of event and it was so lovely to see them excited as I was revealing some for the surprises I have in store for the lovely ladies. The new chef revealed the new menu and I was drooling looking at the options, so this weekend in the name of research we will have a meal there sampling some of the delicious things. yum yum
I managed to get a bit more crafting done using this month’s Special Offer set Reason To Smile.
I went for a bright scheme of tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight. i made a card and a matching gift box.
The card is fairly simple in construction but positioning the stems took some doing :) The window is created using the framelits and the Big Shot machine and the sentiment was punched out using the Word Window punch.
The flowers heads were coloured using the crayons and the blender pen, dazzling diamonds were added for a really sparkly effect. I feel I have to apologise about my photos and lack of close ups, for some unknown reason my camera stopped focusing properly, I should use hubbies.
