Stippled Blossom Passionette

Hello everyone did you enjoy a sunny day today? we had the most gorgeous Spring day here and I am so hoping it will last.

I am sharing a card made for Teri, a lovely Passionette for her recent birthday. In fact the cards I will show you over the next few days are all for birthdays celebrated recently by my lovely team members.

Stippled Blossoms is a set I resisted for like EVER. I remember receiving a lovely swap from the sweet Pam Morgan at Convention made with this set and this card was very much inspired by her example.

I also seen a card Kimberly Van Diepen made with this set and a design element she used caught my eye. She applied gesso over our Newsprint Designer paper reducing the brightness of it. I didn’t have any gesso so I used whisper white reinker to achieve a similar effect. I simply painted it over the dsp and let it dry.

The flowers were stamped in Pretty in Pink and Rose Red ink, I love the detail Stampi’Up! stamps have and this is not highlighted any better than in their 2 step stamp sets, simply beautiful. The leaves were stamped in  Lucky Limeade and overstamped Always Artichoke.

the combo is Rose Red and Baja Breeze with that punch of green. The sentiment was stamped on vellum with Staz on ink and the double seam binding bow topped with a giant pearl.

Right off to our lovely friends for a nice relaxed dinner, I am in charge of the starter and I cooked a lovely spinach and  feta cheese tart topped with pine nuts and parmesan shavings.

Thank you for stopping see you again soon.
