I am sorry, I had to take a few days off and forgot to upload the photos of the Bonus project I shared at my Retreat during our pyjama party. This is a favourite highlight at these events. After a gourmet 3 course dinner, a few drinks and a chat we go back to our rooms slip into our pj’s and head down to our crop room for music, candy bar, challenges and always a bonus class. This year everyone got their own Season of Style This and That Journal and a set of matching designer stickers.
We decorated this Christmas Planner quite plainly and flat as it is meant to withstand a lot of bashing in a handbag in the next few months.
We made a sweet banner out of matching washi tape, used the wonderful wreath stamped, cut out and layered over some doilies. The letters were cut on the big shot machine in cherry cobbler red cardstock and covered in Crystal Effects- this creates a lovely shiny and slightly raised finish.
The Merry was cut using the thinlits dies from glittery champagne paper, such a lovely addition to any project. And the stickers are just cute and so easy to use.
I won’t be using mine as a planner as I am to much of a last minute dot come to do that but I hope to be using it to document this years family Christmas, they make lovely presents.
It was funny as I think this was journal no 3 in the end. The stress levels must have been high up there before the event as I kept loosing them so was forced to decorate another one, only to find it the next time I looked in the place I already checked :)
The photos I haven’t shared with you is of the wonderful ladies that shared these events with me :)
And for those 3 bloggers that emailed to ask me what the 2nd pillow gifts were I can tell you that it was a black handbag with trendy metal accents, sadly I didn’t take any pictures of them before I left them with the hotel staff :( but I can tell you that they have been greatly received :) .
Mmm, wish I could eat that yummy food again.
Everyone looking so fabulous for our evening meal :)
Both events were a mixture of fun and exciting. I loved spending time and inspire the fabulous ladies attending, and I thank them all for their support and friendship. I cannot wait to see some of them next time. I hope you enjoyed seeing what we got up to and if you wish to enquire about the next events please email me at telemech01@aol.com.
