Snowy day :)

Hello there :) I hope you are ready for the weekend :) It feels grim and cold here today is like someone pulled the switch for Autumn this morning. it feels so different to the sunny Summer day we had yesterday :( still I shouldn’t complain we had a fabulous Summer.

I am soo excited and stressed and scared as my 1st Retreat starts on Sunday evening :)

I am frantic trying to make sure I have everything, done everything and take everything.  Still the excitement of a few days in that beautiful place sampling the yummy food and crafting yummy projects with my sweet friends overtakes all the worry and stress, I simply cannot wait.

Today I have a card we made at our Christmas Club last month.  It’s a card I am particularly fond off from a set I didn’t intend buying (isn’t that so often the case?)

Are you looking at this card and wondering where is it from?  I got that a lot in the class :)

Stampin'Up! Snow day by Monica Gale

It was made with elements from the Snow Day stamp set. And as I write this I  just realized that this particular one is a wrong example of it. I make my own cards in the class with the ladies if time allows me and they do not need my attention. And this one  should have had 3 Old Olive stars on it !!! I must have been chatting when making it.

And here’s a closer shot

Snow day close up shot

I used a crumb cake base, and following ink colours Coastal Cabana, Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Baked Brown Sugar. I used the Baked Brown Sugar marker to add threads for my little ornaments, and a bit of dazzling diamonds and rhinestones for extra sparkle.

Love it and if you would like to replicate head over to my Online Store and get it right now :) I love saying that LOL

HOSTESS CODE this week is PNETSUKJ
