 Stamparatus Mirror Technique

Hello there and WELCOME to our Stamparatus Blog Hop.  It's an absolute honour to present a project for this Blog Hop organised by Stampin' Up! and I know you will love the amount of goodness the fellow participants have to share with you today. It's so exciting being part of this amazing group!

#stampinup #stamparatus #likemisti #betterthanmisti

My assignment was to share a technique and I chose the mirror technique. It's really clever, taking one image and being able to flip it around while making sure your image is perfectly positioned, and the Stamparatus makes it so very easy.

Stamparatus Mirror Technique #stamparatus #buystampinuphere

I made two examples of the same card one in Crumb Cake and one in Whisper White, both cute and extremely easy to put together. The cute doggy comes from the Bike Ride stamp set which can be purchased in my Online Store, and colour was added using our Stampin Write markers.

And I have made a video for you to show you just how I got those cute doggies to face each other like that, and you can also check another fabulous technique with this tool, in this post here.

The Stamparatus is available to purchase in my online store so you can order yours HERE today !!.

I want to thank you so much for joining me today,  now hop over to the talented Nadine in Germany.

Enjoy your hop
Love Monica xx

Always and Forever Stampin Up!!!

Hello there :)
How is your week going?  I am excited as I get to spend this weekend in London, but goodness me I have some many balls up in the air at the minute its all bonkers, so tons to do before my lovely break.
We are renovating the front of our house with a complete new porch so tons of decisions to make for that, as well as endless cups of tea and coffee every day, add a bedroom renovation on top which we actually have to do ourselves ( insert not delighted here) as we left it too late to book a decorator and everyone is now too busy to undertake new work. We have been here three years now and slowly .... very slowly we are still doing rooms.

But let's cut the chatter and move onto my projects today. I had a little reprieve from Christmas makes this week and had to make a wedding ensemble for one of my sister's work colleague.

And like sisters often do, she called at 8 am yesterday morning to ask for this commission which had to be posted out to her by the end of the same day. Ahem.... thank you sister of mine for a bit of advance notice. I really appreciate it LOL

In fairness I was glad to create something else other than Christmas for a bit.

Wood, burlap, lace are all the rage in wedding decor and I love that Stampin'Up! are right on trend with our imagery. The Always and Forever set its fabulous for themed projects to fit in with this look and I was quite pleased with the result.  As well as the card I have made a voucher presentation wallet to match.

Crumb Cake cardstock for the bases, and the lovely Wood Textures Paper Pack married perfectly with the stamp set. Now because the stack is 6" x 6" I had a problem with creating a piece that was long enough for the wallet which was 8". So I created my own version by dragging the Crumb Cake ink pad over a piece of Whisper White card then feeding it through the Pinewood Embossing Folder which by the way it's the best folder in my whole collection. I cannot stop using it, you can buy yours HERE.

Here's a close up of the card and the lacey details

The hearts and tiny leaves are coloured using the Pink Pirouette and Old Olive Blends. You can find the Burlap Ribbon HERE, the Lovely Lace HERE, Sequin Mini Trim HERE and the fabulous Metallic Washi Tape HERE

What do you think? Different as normal wedding cards go but vey classy looking don't you agree??

To buy any of the products featured head over to my Online Shop  or by clicking any of the bolded out links of the product that interests you.

Thank you for joining me and if you are not following my Facebook Page yet, head there and give it a LIKE, then join me tonight at 8.30pm GMT for a LIVE crafting session. You will love the cute projects I am sharing.

Much love
Monica

Stamp To Share Blog Hop - Colour Theory Suite from Stampin' Up!

Hello again :)

Its Blog Hop time again and this month we are playing with the Colour Theory Suite from Stampin'Up! Now this suite is just great and I really wanted to showcase a few projects but story of my life..... so much to do so little time after having all that time away, sad as I am I only managed a card to share with you. Its a pretty card if that counts more :)

The matching Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies have this comfy looking deck chair and I seized the opportunity to use it as my focal point for this Retirement Card.

The Yellow matting layer came from the Color Theory Memories and More pack, this is a perfect example how fabulously well and easy our products work for cards as well as memory keeping. Well I know,  I could have done a much better job at convincing you, IF I would have managed to show you a Memories and More layout. MUST TRY HARDER you just need to trust me on it for now :)

Here's a closer look of the other small details

The chair was cut from the Wood Texture Designer Paper Stack by Stampin' Up!, some Burlap Ribbon was laid across for extra texture, made a bow out of the the Gold Mini Sequin Trim tied with a few strands of linen thread

Thank you so much for joining me today, I really appreciate your visit now please hop to the adorable Amy Koenders in the US to see what delights she has ready for you this month, till next time

Gifts for my Team of Stampin'Up! Demonstrators

Woohooo,
By the time you are reading this I will be stress free and happily enjoying myself, being immersed in fabulous company at a Stampin'Up! On Stage Live event in Amsterdam.

Yes, I am writing this post from the past or from the future whichever way you want to look at it :)

I love nothing more than prepare little surprises for my team of demonstrators who choose to attend these events. Its my way of spoiling them a little and thanking them for investing in their businesses, there's no doubt that we always return from these gatherings inspired and with our cups overflowing with ideas and love.. they are good feeling inducing events, and one of the things I love most about being  a Stampin'Up! demonstrator. If you wish to find out more please ask me for a no obligation chat, I would love to present you the opportunity.

Stampin up Botanical Blooms gifts by Monica Gale

I was lucky this year, as the gifts I chose for my directs came in stylish looking boxes so all I had to do was simply add a bit of va va vhoom !! And that's just what I did, by choosing the gorgeous Botanical Builder Framelits dies from Stampin'Up!

Gifts by Monica Gale a UK Stampin' Up! demonstrator

They've come out so striking, I think its the black background just sets everything off nicely.  I used Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry (all of these are from the Brights Collection) and Wild Wasabi in the card stock colours and it was quite easy as I literally cut all of the diecut shapes for one package with one big shot roll.

Designed by Monica Gale Stampin' Up demo in the UK

The sentiment is from the Watercolour Wishes kit , if you haven't seen this kit yet I would strongly suggest you check it out, its packed full of goodies inclusion a stamp set and ink and embellishments.

And these were the gifts I made for my lower levels attendees.

Gifts by Monica Gale a UK Stampin up demonstrator

I made quite a number of these ones but they did quickly come together as well. I started by embossing some of the plain Kraft bags with the Big Shot and the Hexagon Dynamic embossing folder. A strip of Flirty Flamingo paper was fishtailed and simply folded over the filled bag.

Gifts by Monica Gale a UK Stampin Up Demonstrator

Then a small length of Lace Trim and some Gold Sequin Trim was added, and they were all held together with a Gold Binder Clip.

For the main element, I layered two die cut shapes using the fabulous Stitched Shapes Framelits one cut in Crumb Cake Card to match the bag. and one in Whisper White card. I stamped the cute Love Sparkles sentiment in black and added a punched star in Gold Glimmer Card

Can you see the sparkly splatters on the bags? I used a Wink of Stella pen and tapped it against my finger to create lovely glittery splatters for an extra sparkly effect.

Right I am off in bath to begin some sort of a beautifying treatment, although I am not sure I left enough time for it. This old bird looks a bit ruffled around the edges after the long winter LOL
Thank you for your visit and I wish you a fabulous weekend.

Much love

Stampin'Up! Kinda Eclectic for a Silver Celebration

Hello there,

I hope your weekend is still going strong, yet again I have missed my regular blogging day this Friday, it seemed to have been a tough week getting myself organised with the hour changing, hope I will do better next week.

Then yesterday I celebrated my birthday and was too busy enjoying myself to do any blogging but I am here today and I want to share with you Alan's celebratory packaging.
Alan is one of my valued team members and he recently promoted to the Silver title so it was time to spoil him a little bit. He truly is a superstar and runs extremely successful all day workshops in Thorne, not too far from where I live.
Here's what I came up with..

Stampin'Up Kinda Eclectic Celebration

I used to be a big fan of Kind Eclectic stamp set when it launched a few years ago and realised its been ages since I ve used it. Its such a versatile stamp set and I loved how the starburst seemed to resemble fireworks when stamped en masse, so I just went with the idea.

Stampin'Up Kinda Eclectic

I have used Basic Black, Tip Taupe Top and Basic Grey as my colour way all lifted with some sparkly Silver glimmer paper/card.

Stampin'Up Kinda Eclectic- Hello You Thinlits

For the gift packaging I have used the Lots of Labels framelits, and for the sentiments I have used the Hello You thinlits  and Crazy About You sentiment set.

Stampin'Up Kinda Eclectic Packaging

The paper comes from the Neutrals Designer Stack  and the stars were cut out of glimmer paper with the Medium Star Punch  and the Confetti Stars Punch

I was so glad I got the opportunity to spoil Alan a little bit and the fact the he lives quite close to me means I was able to deliver his goodies in person and enjoyed a lovely chat.. Bonus !! .

Thank you so much for visiting me enjoy the last few hours of your weekend.

Much love
 Monica
