Birthday Passionette !!!

Hello how are you? I am so sorry to have to do this nearly a week later but as I said in my previous post I was totally wiped out last week with a nasty cold and keeping my eyes open was a struggle never mind blogging. It was Jo's Happy Birthday on the 3rd. Now Jo is one of the sweetest and kindest girls I have ever met, she is so helpful to me and our team members and nothing is too much trouble, she has a heart of gold that girl. I have made her this card
I cannot stop using those new colours and NO I am not bored yet. I am thinking you guys might be so I will try and use something else for my next post LOL>
Melon mambo card base and Soft Suede, now I tried the grid technique which I haven't tried for ages, it is very easy to do if you have one of these fancy score boards with lots of grooves in but equally easy to just use your Fiskars trimmer with the scoring blade. Simply score a pattern at equal intervals in two directions. I have used a sponge dauber and soft suede ink to add some definition and what you cannot see is the fabulous shimmer paint applied to this layer, very pretty. I love this stamp set Circle Circus and I have used it quite a lot recently . I got the idea of the different circles in different colours from a few cards in the gallery at Splitcoast stampers, Melon Mambo, tempting turquoise, summer sun, rich razzleberry and soft suede. Some circles have matted layers and are raised on dimensionals. I was very pleased with this card . Jo I hope you had a fabulous birthday and I am sorry I am a bit late in announcing it on here.
After making this card a light bulb moment went off and decided to make some bookmarks for my Virtual club members. Perfect for the Summer holidays coming I thought although I cannot tell you how much time they took me!!! I made 50 of them gulp.
Same colours more or less this time on the soft suede base and a bit of Pumpkin pie was added. How cute is the spotty ribbon LOVE IT!!!
Ok WE HAVE 3 WINNERS for my pendant giveaway.
They are :
 Number 11................JAN
Number 30.................JANETTE
Number 47.................DAWN

YAY  CONGRATULATIONS LADIES please let me have your addies and I wills end those onto you. Thank you very much to all of you that left me some really sweet comments.
Ok nearly time to go back to work, till next time BIG HUGS xxxx

BLOG HOP...

Hello there long time no see huh? After a brilliant Bank holiday weekend spent with Luca, sis and BIL I came out with a really bad cold with complete with a terrible sore throat and generally feeling yuck, so I have not felt like crafting and blogging. But the break did me good and I now back fighting fit.
Just as well as today I am taking part in a organized blog hop. All the projects are using the three new colours recently released by Stampin'Up, and I am sure you will have a fabulous time visiting all the blogs and seeing the fabby inspiration my fellow demonstrators have lined up.
If you joined my blog from the ever so lovely Debbie welcome. I love Debbie's gorgeous projects and I am planning in pinching her idea and make one of those card holders, so cute.
My offering today is all to do with stamping but not as we know it. I took it to a whole new level and created a very wearable piece of jewellery.

I love using my stamps for so much more than just cards and scrap pages, and I have been wearing this pendant a lot lately, everyone comments on it.
Take a peek, enjoy, then come back and tell me what you think

Doesn't it look so easy to make? It is really easy and very effective. I need to thank my lovely friend Tracey for the idea, it was three years ago at a Centre Parcs Retreat that she showed us how to make those. I have changed the process a bit (Tracey uses tissue paper to stamp on and no embossing) but the main idea is still the same.
I have 3 of those pendants to give away to three lucky bloggers, all you have to do is leave me a comment, I will pick the winners on Tuesday by random generator.
Now please hop over to the very talented Joanne to see what she has in store for you today. FABULOUS is the word I am looking for to describe her work, she is so talented. Really loved her projects.
Thank you for popping by till next time Hugs xxx

Sunny Days..

are here I THINK!!! We have wonderful sunshine here today let's just hope it long continues.  And the title matches one of my projects today.
This was one of my classes designed for Stamp With Us online.
A sweet album made from envelopes in  bright colours perfect for those Summer Holidays. I cannot wait to fill mine it has tons of room for lots of photos and tags for journalling.
The papers used are from the Kaleidoscope collection and I am on my second pack. I do love them the catalogue pictures do not do them justice. I have also decorated the from with some sticky cuts and lots of glitter it really sparkles and shimmers IRL. The umbrella was made from punches  and it adds a fun element to the front.
The second lot of projects are some sweet thank you cards I made for those that ordered my sampler's packs. It was only natural that I would be using the new colours , in fact I have not stopped stamping different combinations since I got them. I truly love this combo
YUMMY! Rich Razzleberry, More Mustard, Melon Mambo, Soft Suede and a little button accent in Tempting Turquoise. I actually mixed the cards with three of the colours of those playground buttons.

You can  see the cards work well with the Old Olive and the Mustard buttons. Stamp set used Circle Circus and a hefty dose of Shimmer paint was spritzed over plus a few beads of crystal effect to ad interest. Gold cord was threaded through the buttons.
Right I have my Summer pots to plant today seen as the weather is nice, they won't go out just yet but they need to be done to have time to bush up. have a lovely weekend till next time Hugs xxx

another lazy day...

by the pool for me. LOL

Hello how are you? sorry I am being really mean teasing you. I will stop that.

What do I have to show you today? Firstly a card I have sent to a very lovely lady who is going through a bit of a rough patch. I am sure she will be just fine but wanted to send her card to let her know that I was thinking of her.

I have used this wonderful stem from Live Your Dream stamp set, and stamped using the markers to add more than one colour to the whole image. I then stamped the heads again and cut them out and mounted them onto dimensional.

The colours used are So Saffron, Regal Rose and Old Olive, sentiment from the Sincere Salutations.

Next I have to show you the cards I made to thank everyone for ordering of the last chance list through me.

I just love this set so much, so much, I think is got to do with my insane obsession with symmetry and everything round. Circle Circus new stamp set available from 1st of October, Almost Amethyst, Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum card stock, Elegant Eggplant, Orchid Opulence and Perfect Plum ink pads. The sentiment from Pocket Silhouette was stamped on twill after seeing it on Emma's blog. She is one amazing stamper I just love her work. Those cards are 4x4 inches. Hope you enjoyed seeing my samples today thank you for stopping by. I am off now and will see you very soon with some more cards. Hugs Monica xx
