Birthday Passionette-Nature Walk

Hiya phew we really are celebrating hard this month in our team. Today is Kate’s Happy Day!!
Kate is a fairly new demonstrator who started really strong, and loves her Stampin'Up! journey, I hope it will take her to the heights she has set. Kate loves the colour green and there’s only one green for me right now, Wild Wasabi. I simply love this colour, is fresh and cool and it suits my mood. I have paired it with Baja Breeze ( I am using this colour far to much as well lately) and Basic Gray.

I have crammed so much on here that at one point I didn’t know how I will make it all work LOL
I am also using up more papers lately, here I have used the gala greenhouse one. The friendship wheel was wheeled across a piece of basic grey card in black ink.
I die cut a scallop circle and using the crop o dile I have punched out a circle inside each scallop, I know a bit fiddly but Kate is so worth it Red heart. Next a white circle was embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and it got adhered to the grey one.
Stamped the birdcage from Nature’s Walk and cut out. I popped it on some dimensionals and used a row of tiny pearls to add as rope from the 3D roses and leaves.

I had a go at circle roses and they were not that easy, the concept is very easy but I think I  need to practise a bit more.
Kate hope you had a fabulous day,  HAPPY BIRTHDAY my lovely.
Today I took a decision that  I would give up my day job and take Stampin’Up! on a full time basis. My notice went in and depending how quick we can find and train someone to take over my position I should start working from home full time in about a month’s time. I am so excited now the deed has been done although I am a bit scared and I know I will miss all my lovely colleagues. I know SU will keep me plenty busy and I am looking forward to it already, you should be happier here with more posts at least Winking smile.
Right got to go and answer some emails, I will see you again soon with yet another Birthday Passionette Winking smile card.
EDITED TO ADD. I had so many emails about those roses I decided to shoot a video, enjoy !!!

Till next time Big Hugs xxx

Nature Walk

Hello there and Happy Monday !!!  I had a very busy weekend how was yours? Yesterday it was class time again and we had a lot of fun, everyone finished their projects in the allocated time slot which is my ultimate goal, I do crack the whip though Winking smile, only kidding.  Aaand I made raspberries cupcakes !!! HOWEVER  in spite of not forgetting to take my camera with me I didn’t manage to take any photos as my battery was flatCrying face. I managed to leave my camera on after downloading the last set of photos to my computer, so close but no cigar I’m afraid. We meet next time on the 17 of July for our regular card club, if you fancy cheking us out drop me a line at telemech01@aol.com.
Here’s one of the cards I sent out this last week. It was for the lovely Jo A one of my dear Passionettes. She is going through a bit of bad but this super duper girlie will be al right I am sure as she is such a positive person and takes it all into her stride. I will be keeping in touch with her just to make sure she is doing ok. Glad you liked the card Jo hugs to you.

I used Nature Walk again as I had it out on the desk and because I like it. Jo likes pink and I used Pretty in pink here with Vanilla, Certainly Celery and So Saffron. The sentiment is from the Sincere Salutations, I must have bought this set 3 years ago and I can honestly say that I cannot ever tire of it, it works so well with so many of our punches and it looks so right on every card a fave sentiment set for sure.

I bet you won’t be able to see it but the butterfly has been coloured using the marvellous markers and then glazed with crystal effects for a enamelled look.
Next I am showing you a card you will have seen on my blog before, is one I did for our last Quarterly team training event. An owl in a box.

I have sent a kit to make this card to all my Virtual Club members along with a tutorial on how to make it this month. I have also set them a challenge and might  need your help at some point to decide a winner.

This is such a cute idea, not my own I have to add, but cannot find the creator right now. I tend to draw the feature on my owls for quickness and less messing about with small pieces and I do tend to make a bit more of an effort than this picture showsDisappointed smile. I must have been rushing.
If you wish to join a club I have one starting this month and there’s only one more place left but I will start one in July as well or when we manage to fill it. Get in touch with me if you fancy getting a bit of product month by month a min order of £15 applies, or read more about it HERE.
Right off I go to work now, only 3 more sleeps till PRAGUE. I am so excited !!!
Till next time Big Hugs xxx

Birthday Passionette

Hello there today is Kim’s HAPPY DAY !! Kim is my newest Passionette and she is an amazing woman, she packs up so much in her life and added Stampin’Up! to her already incredibly busy schedule.
Kim loves black so I got to play with my fave neutrals and basic black for her special card.
kim's
The combo is Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla and Basic Black . I love Sahara Sand is a light warm greyish colour really classy paired with black and Espresso.
I had this card in my head using the leaves sizzlet die and suspending the birdcage from Nature’s Walk from them. I love the reuslt but I wish I added a small amount of leaf to the tiny bloom below. The more I look at it the more I can see it needs a bit of black for perfect balance, oh well hindsight is a wonderful thing.

The middle Sahara panel was embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper folder and the Big Shot, I turned the piece over and had the debossed area showing, it just looked better with the dainty bird cage.
I have made the little blooms using the 1/2 circles from the owl punch. A small pearls sits inside each bloom.
Now my ribbon is the Crumb cake seam binding, I intended to use the black satin which I simply adore but the card looked very sombre with it on and Vanilla just didn’t look right so crumb cake seam binding it was. Lovely sentiment from the Curly Cute set to spell out my message and a generous helping of shimmer paint was added which of course you cannot see in the pictures.
Kim I hope you had a fabulous day and I hope you liked your card.
Right I need to crack on as I am making swaps for my trip to Prague next week.
Thank you for popping by till next time big hugs xxx
