Life is busy!! as if you dont already know that

Hello, WoW!! talk about busy.. this SU buisness is really keeping me on my toes!! I ve attended the Open Night in London on the 24 of jan. and it was a lovely night, met some of the other demos and fellows UKS ers and of course Shelli Gardner the co founder and CEO of SU was there, such an incredible woman, stuningly beautiful and really funny. There were a few demostrations that took place using a variety of products, a few speeches about the history of the company and how it all began, also found out that the company is worth 295 millions dollars What??? Thats an awfull lot of stamps isn t it?lol, after we made two lovely cards , I was sharing a table with Paula Pasqual and her gorgeous friend (whose name I forgot) but she said that she s gona check the blogaroo so if you re reading this my lovely, I m sorry I m such a short memory pillock. They were really fun and we had a giggle, took my sis along with me and she thoroughly enjoyed it. This are the cards we made.

I ve also got to meet the gorgeous Paula Iaciofano( SU country manager), and before the night I found out the she has recently became engaged so decided to make her a congratulations card. I ve used my SU circle punches to create this flower now you will have to excuse the quality of the picture, it was taken just as the night was setting so no amount of editing would have made this a good one, but is the only one I ve got.
Made a box as well(you know me and my boxes lol) and just used one of the acrylic buterflies from Heidi swapp and some half backed pearls. It looks a bit bare but it had some big wide organza ribbon tied to it so looked a bit better.
She seemed delighted with it and gave me a big hug. It was an aww moment*smile*

Now I have finally held my first stamp camp this saturday and it was a success, the ladies who attended were delighted with the projects I ve designed and I ve received some good feedback regarding the quality of the products and there was even a good amount of sales that took place. Yipee lol, These were the projects that I ve designed for the make and take a card, and a super quick and easy box. Now initially I was gonna do a full day event with more than two projects to complete but decided against it( I think I was too scared to commit to a such long schedule for my first event) and only did a 3 hour one, wich was just perfect. Here are the samples.

This box was brought to my attention by my fellow demo Helen(yhenks hunni) is a very easy one like I said and since making it I ve realised that I ve made this box in the past in fact I ve made one for the my DT assesment with the oct. kit(I think) but on a much larger scale. Find instructions here, this lady is great!!

Ok now I have still got some spaces left for a stampers ten i m organising , and if you re wondering what the heck a stampers ten is, I ll explain(is quite exciting): 10 people join and agree to spend each month a min. of £15.00, each month in turn one of the ladies in the group will get to be the hostess for that month(we will pull names from a hat to determine whos goes first) wich means she will benefit from getting the freebie stamp set of her choice and the money to spend as she chooses. This is such a fun and easy way of still getting the benefits but without having to fork out £150.00 at once wich means you spread the cost a bit, and belive me it wont take you long to spend £15.00 in the catalog, after receiving your first lot of products you will realise just how fabulos quality those are. I mean they ve been going in the States for 19 years now, and we all know just how competitive the US crafting market is there. Also if you decide to join you will get a catalogue absolutely free from me, it will cost you nothing, nada , zilch!lol

Ok then I m off now but by the time I come back to check on this you d better inundate me with offers for this or else i ll have to find out where you live lol. Take care my lovelies, see ya!!!

I ve used a colorbox spectrum pad to stamp the main image I just love the diferent colours together.

I had to make another card with those cute frogs from SU! here it is

Isn it sweet? Love them froggies... I ve coloured my image with the stamp pads, i ve used the pile of love hearts from the *Loads of Love* set to clear emboss the red layer, paper pierced a corner with the piercing tool , a round tag onto wich I ve stamped and cut out a little love heart from the *Happy Hearts* set , grosgrain ribbon, all of this from SU!

I am officially in buisness!! LOL

I am I really am!! I've finally received my Stampin'Up! starter kit yesterday, so I can finally begin to do some trading. This means that the catalogues are gonna be on their way to those of you that requested one on Monday morning YAY!!. Those that didn't yet what are you waiting for? lol You need to order one, YOU NEED to!! I am happy to send you a copy for £5.95 which I will redeem against your very first offer of £30.00 or more. Now it was only natural that I have done nothing else since receiving the goodies, but inspect it and create in my head loads and loads of projects. I am delighted I have to tell you by the quality of it all ( I did expect good quality and I am happy is there), and you know how strongly I was urging everybody out there to never use anything for stamping their images onto, other than Papermill's white smooth cardstock? , well I am now telling you should only ever by the Whisper White cardstock from Stampin Up!! for all your stamping needs. It is just to die for very smooth, even smoother than the proverbial baby's bottom lol. Downside is that it will never be good for card blanks if you're want the layered look as is not heavy enough, but it will be perfectly fine for one layer cards . So the first card I m gonna share was made with the lovely Seeing Spots set(love this for his versatility) and the matching jumbo wheel.Yummy colour combo, I've used Real Red and Green Galore cardstock this was so very simple to make. Using red ink with the coordinating seeing spots jumbo wheel I have wheeled the pattern all over the red layer. This will give you a nice soft effect just like using a Versamark pad would. For my focal point punched out two circles stamp the dotted circle in real red, stamped the small flower in green galore used a half backed pearl from the pretties set, stamped the sentiment cut out and used as brackets around the circle. Certainly celery wide grosgrain ribbon balances the card out.
Second card was made using my favorite set of stamps from the entire catalog Unfrogetable.

Dont cha just love that little chappie? He puts a smile on my face everytime and the sentiments are so funny!! White card again, tempting turquoise and pink passion cardstock, certainly celery grosgrain ribbon, green galore ink pad to colour mr. Kermit here and diamond glaze to add dimension to his eyes and flowers. Used my circle punch to make the scallop border cut out circles and push them under the turquoise layer(much quicker way). I really like this card is bright and cheery.
Third card uses another set that I love, and the possibilities with this set are vast, and this is gonna be the one set I will NEVER sell, is also a fab one for men s cards.(now for that reason alone this is worth his weight in gold lol) It is Loads of Love of course.

I ve used SU watercolour crayons to colour the van and the hearts wich are mounted on 3d pads and diamond glazed. Dream street papers were used for the bottom half, certainly celery for the top this was stamped with versamark pad and the love bunch stamp.
I am trying to build a load of samples for my display boards so will have more to share soon. So meanwhile should you want me to help you finding out more about SU products please get in touch. Hugs xx

Gogo december creations

Hello I can finaly share with you what I ve designed for the Scrapagogo using the december kit. It was just delightful, yummy papers from Daisy Bucket, chipboard letters ribbon brads, sequins, a lovely stamp lots of things. The free stamp was the Thank You stamp and I ve used it to make the card below.

I ve stamped the image three times using diferent colour inks and mounted on a long panel then made it look like it was hanging using some baby blue twine, a strip of one of the gorgeous papers and Voila!! a cute thank you card, oh forgot to say please note the fab metal trim that I ve used in between it was lush!!

Next was a baby duo, polka dots are my favorite things ever so I had to use this papers for some baby stuff.

The fab thing about this kits is that you get nice shaped cards, and this aperture one here is an example of it. Covered some chipboard letters with a variety of papers , then I ve cut the tiny little flowers out and 3d mounted in little groups and doted about. the sweet sentiment was stamped out using the free stamp from octobers kit.

Made a matching tag as well

Here I ve used one of the chipboard shapes( I think it was a baloon) to make the pram, used sequins and brads that came in the kit for the wheels and some gingham ribbon.

Another one wich just showcase the brilliant brightness of these papers...yum yum. Pretty self explanatory this one

Note the fun element added by the thread on the party hat? I loved that I thought of that..hee hee

Oh there was a acetate card included in the kit as well so I just had to have a go at one and here it is, lots of doodles on this one and that fab stamp again.
And finally my favorite out of them all. I ve designed this for my friend s little girl( it was her brithday ) and I just love the way it turned out also nice that I ve come up with the design myself didn t see it anywhere ..is mine all mine lol.
January s kit is just as fabulos(in fact I really really liked jan.) and you won t belive it, feb.s just been delivered by the postie( very excited about this one something very very special inside it). Look after yourselves see ya!!!!!

Happy New Year!!!

....to you all, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and you re looking forward to a better New Year! I have to apologise for my long absence but unfortunately my laptop decided to go to laptop heaven half way through december and I had to wait for Santa to hopefully bring me a replacement, and bless him he did just that!!! ( Thank you Santa!) but by then it was time to fly back home to Romania, as Luca got Christened on the 30 of dec. We had a lovely time while away, however we are now back, and managed to get straight away into our normal routine like we never had a break. Oh well I ll just have to plan the next one. I have just two cards for you today as obviously didn t craft much since my last post. First card is a Christmas card, because I have decided that I m gonna make all my cards for next Christmas now, and then starting august I could do some at my leisure to be used for the next year and this way i might actually get in fornt a bit and won t be having to spend many nights churning out the little blighters two days before the event!!!. This would be a very quick card to make, the beautiful stamp is by Penny Black and was watercoloured and then cut away and mounted on 3d foam dots. Cuttlebug embossing folder( three quarters of the way only) some ribbon(I ve used narrow grosgrain) and stamped my own sentiment using a Her Arts little alpha set. Now the buildings look odd this is because I ve added some stickles to the image and didn t wait for them to dry... wich as you can see lokks absolutely pants..boo it really bugs me.

My next card is not a new concept I ve cased myself for once, this was done for a comission for a lady that was retiring this Christmas, and because I was so strapped for time I ve decided to use a card I ve made in the past for speed.

I ve used the cherry branch again as I just love this image, the background papers are by Dovecraft, sentiment from a set by Woodware, used the CBEF to emboss a section of the purple mat and used my SU paper piercing set to add a row of stiching top and bottom of the image. Note the little embelishment bottom right...part of one earing a beautiful faceted crystal that was just the right thing for my card!!! Love those finds. Made another pin wich I ve safely secured to the ribbon by adding a drop of diamond glaze to the tip ensuring there will be no accidents.

Made a presentation box for it as well

Used some BG die cut letter for adding the name(finally Ive found a way of using them!!) CBEM again and some flowers secured with a PM pearl brad. It looked really nice and I just hope the lady liked it!!!

Well I ve not made any new year resolutions(I never do cos I m rubbish at keeping them) but I have made a decision to sign up as a SU demonstrator. So should you wish to book a workshop I am on the border of Nort and East Yorkshire( and I m willing to travel a hour) please drop me a line and we can arrange something. I m aprehensive but I m really looking forward as I just love their products... LOTS!!

I ll hopefully be a bit more regular this year thank you all who come and make the effort to leave comments I do apreciate them. See ya later
