Hello there hope you had a fabulous weekend. At the end of this week we got back from a lovely break in the Sun with friends. I often confess on here how very grateful I am having Stampin’Up! in my life, it has brought me so much good and enabled me to forge some very special friendships.
And one of these special friendships I made is with one crazy French girl called Vanou. It all started with the very first European Convention and we've been friends ever since. Earlier this year we got to spend some time with her entire family in Alsace and last week we joined them for some fun in the sun. They were renting a villa in Puerto Pollensa Spain and just so it happen that they had a spare bedroom with an adjoining bathroom going empty. Needless to say within 2 days after the invite flights were booked and off we went :).
The Villa was very beautiful and so comfortable, set in beautiful gardens and a massive fruit orchard totally secluded and not overlooked, well I am saying not overlooked we did have some neighbours
We spent a blissful week with mornings checking out the beautiful nearby beaches
Vanou, the cute 5 year old Lou Salome (otherwise known as *ma Lolotte*) whom I just adore , moi and Timothee the most lovely boy, polite and so well behaved he is also very handsome ( he takes after his mum of course)
The afternoons were lazily spent by the pool at times(look at us both in this picture LOL). Oh and check out the beautiful views we had, breakfast was a very special affair every morning
And in this holiday instead of packing all my shoes I packed my beloved Thermomix, it wasn't to be a vacation for him though *wink*
Quite the opposite it never stopped working the whole week, from fresh orange juice for breakfast, to milkshakes for the children, cocktails for adults ( we lived on Fresh Strawberry Daiquiri's and fresh Pina Colada’s ), sauces, pizza dough, puree’s, sorbets, chocolate fondues, crepes and other sweet treats, salads, full meals for lunch and some of the evenings when we didn’t feel like going to a restaurant, it was always busy whizzing and cooking up a storm. The only downside I am now on a very strict diet . And here’s the last picture just as we were leaving, luckily they all had another week left to get over having us there. It was a fabulous break thank you the Wirkels we loved every minute of your company bring on the Maldives!!!!!!!
So I have been catching up with life since getting back. Today however I got a double dose of crafty events, it was our Scrapbook club followed by the Christmas Club.
And here’s the pages we did.
We worked with the ever so gorgeous Tea Time scrapping kit and we knocked this pages in no time at all, here’s some of the lovely details
The colours are fabulous for Summery pictures and I bet you can’t guess which picture I will use for these pages *wink*. The colours are Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade, pool Party and Blushing Bride.
I will share the Christmas Club projects next till then big hugs and thank you for stopping by. xxx
