A wedding card commission

Hello there how are you today? well I hope I started the day with a relaxing facial and a massage and that set me up nicely for the day.

Today I am sharing a  wedding card commission I was asked to make. and I inked up a set that’s not in any of our catalogues yet but is set to make an appearance later on and as demonstrators we had a chance of earning it for free (I told you yesterday as a demonstrator you get most of your stamps for free).

It’s called Make a Cake , have a lookmake a cake wedding

Soft pretty colours on a vanilla background. The cake was stamped and heat embossed in gold then pieced together. And to add extra detail and dazzle champagne mist paint has been rubbed all over the tiers . The colour combo is Pink Pirouette, So Saffron and Pool Party. I am going to be sooo sad when this colour retires next year. The square scalloped mat was cut using the big shot machine and the scallop square die and the window in the centre was cut using the Framelits die and the Big Shot. Then it was further embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. Tiny flowers punched with the itty bitty punch decorate the pretty embossed cake layers and rhinestones sparkle in the centre of them. A double seam binding bow in very vanilla was added at  one end of the sentiment banner which was stamped and embossed in gold.

And here’s a little box I made for it

wedding box

The initials of the bride and groom were embossed in gold again the layers cut with the framelits dies, little sentiment comes from the Petite Pairs set. Two sweet banners bring in the splash of colours used in the card along with the tiny punched flowers and finally the stamped swirls from the gorgeous Everything Eleanor stamp set. Same seam binding ribbon in very vanilla was used on the box this time riffled in a straight line.

I hope you like it pop back tomorrow for something very special, I am so lucky to have such great friends.

Till then Big hugs xxx
