Aviary in the clouds

Woohooooo  IT’S FRIDAY!!! Not sure why I am so happy about it as I have to work this weekend but hey it is still the weekend and that means I am allowed to have a lie in without feeling guilty. Bring it on !!

Ok here’s the deal on 1 September Stampin’Up! are releasing their first Autumn Seasonal Catalogue and I seriously fear for all our pockets(its choc full of yummy products). The good news is you can have a copy of the catalogue sent to you by simply placing an order with me during August. If you are part of my Virtual Clubs you will receive one automatically :0). To order simply email me at telmech01@aol.com.

So I promised I would share with you our team training projects and that’s what I will do.

One of the cards was this one

aviary clouds

It showcased those really cute clouds with an embossed background. I really wanted to use the Up Up and Away set for this card but I cannot find it anywhere :( and before you think it NO my stamp room is not a mess. Anyway I love Aviary and haven’t used it for a while so I decided it would be a good replacement.

Colour combo is bright and fresh just like the weather outside. Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party and Whisper White. I really wanted to add some black in there but because the layers were so large I knew it would make my card very front heavy so I resisted.

Here’s a better view of the yummy embossing, the square Lattice folder is my favourite ever.

Right that’s all from me for today, pop back tomorrow if you’re not to busy and whatever you do have a great weekend.

  3. So, did you take bites out of the white card stock layer with a circle punch to get the clouds? That's so clever! TFS :-)
