Hello there, gosh this week is nearly gone as well. I am sorry but I didn’t feel like posting yesterday. It would have been mum’s 60th Birthday. Throughout the day I wondered what it would have been like if she was still with us wondered what surprises we would have planned for her special day and mostly spent it feeling sad that I couldn’t put a fresh flower on her grave. I miss hearing her voice.
But its back to business today and I am sharing a super cute card for a super cute little 4 year old.
Lots of sweeties just what a 4 year old would ask for :)
It’s been ages since I inked this stamp set, it is called Something sweet and it’s perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. The gumball machine can be filled with all sorts.
I used a combo of Regal Rose, Wisteria Wonder with a splash of Daffodil Delight. the papers are from the Sweet Shop collection found in the Mini catalogue available till the end of this month.
To stamp the sweets I made a mask of the globe first then place it over my stamped panel and filled it with different colours jelly babies, I started with the strongest colour first Melon Mambo then the second strongest Lucky Limeade and filled in the gaps with the lightest Daffodil Delight.
And as you can see a few escaped *wink* because that’s exactly what happens usually.
the sentiment came from 2 different sets Party this way set and For My family.
Hope you like my sweet card see you again very soon, thank you for stopping by, hugs xxx

Hi Monica
ReplyDeleteI like this card, my daughter asked for one of those dispensers from Santa last Christmas (and got it of course!).
I'm sorry for your loss, I will miss my mum terribly when the time comes. Would it help to do what you do so well and make her a card?

Hugs to you, Monica!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's an adorable card! You are SUCH a talent!
