Hello, hello I have another jar of lovely flowers for you today :)
Its one of the cards we made at our last club, I fell in love with this gorgeous card made by a Canadian fellow demo Natasha Zandbergen and knew I had to recreate it. I changed it up a bit
I loved the colours loved the layout and the ladies liked making it as well.
Early Espresso card base, Island Indigo, Pool Party, More Mustard and Whisper white. The pool party layer was embossed using the Big Shot and one of the new folders from the Seasonal catalogue called Lacy Brocade and the More Mustard layer was scalloped using the Border edge punch. Of course we had to cut a jar out of some window sheets and place on top of the stamped jar after swirling a bit of colour inside it. Here’s a closer look
The sentiment was cut out with the matching oval punch.
I started the day a bit emotional as I woke up to participate in a very important Skype call. Little Luca starts school and today it was his first day. I simply cannot believe its that time already. He looks so handsome in his uniform, here he is all set to start this exciting new chapter in his life. I love him so much, and I did text my sister the minute she sent me the photo to ask her to straighten his collar :)
Thank you for your visit see you again soon. Much love xxx

What a lovely photo of Luca. It's amazing how quickly time will fly esp now he's at school hun. I still remember Caitlins first day (like it was yesterday) and she is now almost 16 and heading off to college next year..... Now I feel old lol.

Lovely card, but Luca as ever steals the show. Trust you to tell Laura to straightened him out. It's quirky being marginally dishevelled!!!!
ReplyDeleteWonky collars are cute! He looks so grown-up. My "baby" boy started secondary school - that's a scary transition, too. Makes me feel old. :(
