Downline gifts

Hello everyone I hope you’re doing great. I have a facial appointment today and I really look forward to it, it’s my monthly treat plus I get to catch up with my friend, we always book at the same time and have lunch afterwards.

Today I am sharing my gifts I made for my lovely team members. I love that SU carry fabric and the Candlelight Christmas one its just fabby. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some. I knew I wanted to make some simple stuffed Christmas Trees.

They turned out so cute and nothing like I initially planned, which is more often the case with any project. Here’s a better view…

They are sooo easy to make, I used a pair of pinking shears to cut a basic triangle shape, I didn’t measure anything and each one turned out a little different, some fatter some thinner but they all looked like trees :). Next I cut some tulle in half and ruffled it on my sewing machine then attached it to the front layer of the tree in a zig zag pattern. Once your tulle is in place  ran a simple stitch around both layers leaving a gap at the bottom and add the stuffing. Insert the stand ( I opted for spiked pillars used in cake making, to support the cake layers) and stitch the opening shut. I glued it with my hot glue gun as it was late in the day and I needed to get them finished.

To finish add your choice of decorations. I die cut some snowflakes from the gorgeous Champagne Glitter paper and placed them on top of some Victoria Trim securing with a antique brad.

Small rhinestones were added to the tulle and everything was sprayed with a generous amount of shimmer spray.

Hope you like them and would consider making some yourself, if you need some fabric contact me to place your order.

Thank you for stopping by see you again very soon.
