Hello there hope you are well. Before I start I have to tell you that I only have 4 places left in my Next Virtual Hostess Club starting at the end of September, if you would like one of the places please contact me, HERE’s more info.
The Retiring list is diminishing quickly so please, please if there’s anything you would like do not leave it to late I would hate for you to miss out and trust me that law still works it always seems to be that one item you so desperately want that ends up being no longer available, contact me and don’t miss out.
And thirdly I am sharing some new Autumn Winter catalogue happiness with you, in form of my swaps for the Leadership Training I attended at the weekend.
Now Luca was here and my time was taken up with him. I can say I haven’t accomplished much during the week he was here yet I was exhausted at the end of each and every day, how does that work out? Anyway on Thursday I took a bag full of supplies including my Big Shot to an indoor play and while Luca run around making new friends I worked on my swaps. I stamped and cut everything in the 3 hours I had, and assembled everything that night after he went to bed, yes I did get some strange looks but mainly curiosity ones.
One of the sets from this new catalogue I absolutely love is the Perfectly Preserved one, jars are trendy right now and I have tons of ideas for them. We will be using this set in our Card Club this Sunday as well, wanna come? email me for details if you’re not on my mailing list.
I made these sweet filled jars for my downlines and a few sweet demo friends. My pictures are not the best as I had quickly taken them in my hotel room on the morning of the event. I loved how this little treat turned out and will be demonstrating it at all my workshops this month, if you would like to book a party please get in touch.
I broke open my new in colours for 2012-2013 and worked with a combo of Star Fruit and Raspberry Ripple. I love this yellow colour so much. The sentiment comes with the set and our smaller oval punch matches it perfectly. I filled the *jars* with orange Aero chocolates balls.
And here’s my general swaps I took with me
Same layout and colours but this time I stamped my chocolate treats. What you cannot see in the pictures is that I cut a layer of film and attached it to the jar to give the impression of glass. This turned out well and it was a quicker way than embossing the jar with versamark and clear powder or waiting for a layer of crystal effects to dry (I couldn’t have done done in the play area). The chocolate covered coffee beans come from the Something Sweet stamp set. Hope you like my pretties and thank you for stopping by. I am off as I have tons to do, only 3 weeks till my Retreat and I have boxes EVERYWHERE… I still have one place left for that if you interested in a full weekend of crafty happiness… find more details HERE.
till next time big hugs xx
