Hello, hello are you well today? The going is getting tougher around this house and I am finding that the days are only minutes long at the minute. Today Carol a dear team member celebrates her Happy day. And here’s the card I have sent her. This card was also one of our other projects we did at Card Club on Sunday, I need to multitask terribly at the minute :).
It features a bit of collage stamping and stamping with the clear block.
Oh how I love this set :), right up my street and this card comes together so quickly yet it looks very sophisticated.
Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and a bit of Night of Navy.
The square ish clear block was inked in crumb cake ink and stamped onto the very vanilla layer, then the butterfly was overstamped in Baja Breeze ink, the eggs stamped off in Soft Suede, and the bird and number in Early Espresso.
The crumb cake layer was torn and a section of it was embossed with the chevron embossing folder, and a strip of designer paper from the Print Poetry stack added a much needed pop of colour. Sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Wishes punched out with the Word Window punch. A clear faceted button was topped of with some linen thread and a giant pearl.
I hope you liked my offering today, I want to thank you for your visit and for your sweet comments on the cake. I am off to pack some kits in front of the tv. See you again soon till then hugs xxx
Very nice card. Love the colors.
