A sad, sad day :(

Hello, I will have a short post for you today and no crafty goodness I‘m afraid. Yesterday we lost a very dear family member, our lovely dog Nico. He has been a loyal friend, and a wonderful companion to our family over the last 11 years and he will be very dearly missed. What makes it worst is that Luca is here for a bit and he just doesn’t understand. We went to bed saying goodnight to our friend and when we woke up in the morning he was gone forever.
I still cannot believe it nor do I understand it, but we have wonderful memories of him that will live forever in our hearts. He wasn’t ill, had his feed and his normal walk the night before he died, I guess it was his time to go.
Rest in peace puppy xx

    Aww Monica, I've just found this post, and was so sad reading it. nico was a stunning dog.....We lost our 12 yr old German Shepherd, Max, over 2 years ago, and I still cry when I think of him....we loved him so much. A few months later we got a GSD puppy called Finn....he's a nutter, but has helped us over the worst of sadness. Even after 2 years though, we still call Finn, Max, which shows how much of an impact he made on our lives. I'll be thinking of you tonight, 'cos I know you'll be sad for a long time. Take care xx
