The Festive Banner….

Hello again, are you ready to see more yummy projects from the Retreat? We started day two with probably the most time consuming of all projects a beautiful festive banner. We all agreed that it was worth all the time and effort as you would definitely bring this banner out to enjoy year after year. We allowed the whole morning to complete it and everyone finished theirs.
banner  This was my nemesis, you wouldn’t know it looking at it but it took everything I had to create this.  All I wanted to do was copy the catalogue, it was so hard to get passed that :). I did manage it in the end and was quite pleased with the end result.
Here’s each of the individual banners, I used Season of Style designer paper along some lush wide cherry cobbler grosgrain ribbon.

The snowflakes were all heath embossed with heath and stick powder and gold glitter then cut with the matching framelits. After the week day event, Janice and Jane who stopped an extra night in the hotel stayed behind and helped me heat emboss all of the snowflakes needed for everyone on the weekend. This was a massive help and everyone appreciated not having to do them on the day :) THANK YOU so much girls, you are the best !!.
A sweet medallion was dangled from the centre of the banner topped with a yummy paper bow. I Love the Bigz Bow Die, really fabulous die.

Here’s a photo of myself and Terri with her finished banner,so you get an idea of the scale. They really are fab,  the banners are made from a canvas like material really durable.
