Vintage Fragrance Bags

Hello again I hope you are doing ok. I am excited as today I get to spend a few hours with some of my team members for some training in Leeds. Still making swaps for it but I will be finished soon :)

The project I am sharing today was the third we did at the PapeRie and hands down everyone’s favourite, I admit to being my favourite to.

Have you seen the muslin bags in the seasonal catalogue? They are great and they are crying out to be stamped on ( not with your feet of course, hopefully you are reading this blog because of your interest in craft in which case you will understand *giggle*)

main

We made this pretty gift ensemble containing a filled fragranced bag (lavender ), a box to display it in, a matching card with a matching envelope. Talk about making it all from scratch :)

The whole room smelled lovely as we filled those bags and I have on in my every wardrobe and my car :) Love them, such an easy to make yet very special gift.

Here’s a close up of the box, this was made from the lid part of one of the Tag a Bag gift boxes. I loved sharing another use for these fab boxes and I will share soon what you can do with the other part the box itself.

The papers we used are from the stunning Modern Medley collection. a very graphic set suited to every style.

We used the Layered Labels and Timeless Talk stamp sets and the sentiment is from Amazing Family. I wish you could see this in real life, it looks so much better than these photos taken with my Ipad. I always promise to take proper pictures in the light once I finish working on projects (which is almost at night, I am a night owl) and I never do :(. Hints of gold glitter make the whole thing shimmer in the right places, very pretty and feminine.

And here’s the matching card and envelope. we used Naturals Ivory card stock which was an exact match to the muslin bag and all tied in effortlessly. Of course the envelope was done in 2 ticks with the help of our diagonal board.
