Wonderful Wreath meets the amazing Expression Thinlits

WOW!!! Is still Monday and I found a little bit of time to blog a festive project :).
Did you enjoy your weekend? I felt a bit out of sorts and spent most of the two rest day pottering around the home in my jammies.
I did promise you some festive projects from the New Seasonal Catalogue and that’s what I am sharing today. A card made with the Wonderful Wreath stamp.
Stampin'Up! Wonderful Wreath and Expression Thinlits_
I LOVE wreaths at Christmas, so this stamp was a must for me :). Stamped here in Wild Wasabi then cut out and added to a background embossed with the new Script folder.
But without a doubt the star of the show is the fabulous MERRY cut from champagne glimmer paper with the must have Expression Thinlits Dies

Aren’t they gorgeous? And I am sure the first thing that will cross your mind is HOW DIFFICULT ARE THESE WORDS TO GET OUT? Honestly, I didn’t think they were to bad and cut in glimmer paper they were a breeze to get out as this paper is slightly stronger. I have heard that a layer of wax paper makes the whole thing slide out easily.
I have used the trusty Boho Blossom punch to add some red flowers to the wreath and the bow is made with New Cherry Cobbler wide ribbon.
Right I hope you enjoyed my first Christmas project hope to see you again soon with more :)
Thank you for your visit, BIG HUGS  xxx

  1. Best thing about the layer of greaseproof paper that I used is that it stays in the die, so I only had to do it once - and now they pop out fairly easily. I think thicker wax paper would be better though, but you just use what you have, don't you?
