MAKE YOU OWN WEDDING STATIONERY

Hello and here’s to another week!! Hope your weekend was relaxing, mine started well with the perfect Friday crafting with a friend (I will show you what we got up to in a bit), but then Saturday we had a bit of drama. You see we had an Ikea trip planned  and soon after breakfast we set off. Hubby was driving and as we were leaving the village I thought my hands were a bit dry and fished in my handbag to find some cream, took my rings off and dropped them in the little compartment where the gear shift is. My husband quickly said NO!! do not put them there as they might go down, can you see you that black space in the below photo? yep that’s the gap that my 2 diamond bands have disappeared  through.
gear box
All of a sudden our car was worth £1,900 more Crying face.
So that worried me a bit all weekend as I didn’t know if they were still inside the car, (we had to drive here and there and I also held a class yesterday so had to drive to that), I  didn’t know whether they were intact or mangled, anyway I am happy to say that they are now safe either side my eternity ring where they belong, the guy from our dealership took 5 minutes to take the middle compartment out and rescue them. Phew!!
Ok Friday I had the most lovely day crafting, chatting and relaxing with a sweet friend. Sally had a few birthdays to get ready for and she choose to make a card for her daughter first. Is a Teneale inspired project and she did a great job, I love this so much.
sally's card
Simply Stunning card in shades of purple and soft nudes to match Vic’s bedroom colour scheme.
It has been requested by some of my blog readers that I provide a list of supplies for each project that I post. I used to name them in my posts before  but  I will listen and start listing them separately at the end of the photos so here it is:
Paper: Perfect plum, very vanilla, soft suede, perfect plum designer paper
Ink: Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, soft suede, crumb cake
Stamp sets: French Foliage, Bella Toile, Notably Ornate, Curly Cute
Tools: Big Shot, Butterfly Bigz die, Beautiful Wings embosslit
Accessories: flat backed rhinestones, crumb cake seam binding
sally's close up
I love this section here, so much detail and the sponging is to die for.
While Sally created this masterpiece I went on and created some samples of pretty and simple wedding stationery for a future bride.
The brief:  she likes the was gatefold type fold, blue is her chosen colour and  there had to be  butterflies.
This person is also someone that never created anything before so no crafty background hence  they had to be easy to mass produce, look good and cost very little.
Here’s the few examples I played with
invite 2
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist
Stamp sets: Wedding Sweet
Tools: Big Shot machine and Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder
Accessories: Flat backed rhinestones
Next example a simple No flutters one, needless to say she didn’t pick this one *smile*
invite 4
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist
Stamp sets: Wedding Sweet
Tools: Big Shot machine and Manhattan Flower  embossing folder
Accessories: Flat backed rhinestones
Another gatefold example this time incorporating hand stamping
invite 1
Paper: Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Ink: Baja Breeze , Basic Black
Stamp sets: Wedding Sweet
Tools: Paper trimmer
Accessories: Flat backed rhinestones
And the one that made it  and my favourite as well
invite
Paper: Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Ink: Crumb Cake and Basic Black
Stamp sets: Wedding Sweet
Tools: Paper trimmer, Big Shot machine, Beautiful wings embosslits die
Accessories: Flat backed rhinestones
I will show you the complete range  as soon as I finish them, everything will coordinate beautifully, from the RSVP cards to the menus and order of service, the bride will even incorporate the same butterflies throughout the room decor and flower centrepieces. The bride will also get a step by step video to follow while making each of the projects. Mission accomplished methinks.
Ok see you again soon thank you for visiting till next time ,Big hugs xxx

Fox and Friends plus I Heart Hearts...

Hello and Happy New start of the week!! I am so busy this week with team trainings and a few workshops is all go this morning. I am sharing two lovely and BRIGHT cards.

I Heart Hearts and a combo of Melon mambo, Taken With Teal paper from the Sweet Pea paper stack, and Always Artichoke. Used the Medallion again as frankly is just too beautiful not to and I love backgrounds on cards. Simple card but the combo makes it.
Next a matching one this time going a bit brighter, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. The square scallop punch makes for easy layers simply arranged in a grid pattern, each square holding a stamped image from the Fox and Friends set . One of the squares houses the sentiment which comes from the Loads of Love accessories.
They are really cheery perfect for Summer celebrations.

Now do you remember this album?

I have TWO kits left ready to go for only £7 plus p&p. They come with full instructions and all the elements needed in order to complete it.

Please get in touch at telemech01ATaol.com  if you would like to purchase one.

Birthday Passionette...........

Hi there today is a very special day, because is Jo's Happy Birthday.
Jo is a sweetheart she joined my team over a year ago and she loves being a demonstrator, I don't think she ever missed a training event she loves people and our get together.
Jo's favourite colour is blue and I know just what you're thinking THAT S NOT very blue but it has got some blue in it. It also has the new Soft Suede card and ribbon. I added some Mustard stamped with the Medallion  background. The sculpted flowers which are all the rage at the minute have been made with the small heart punch you need 8 heart shapes for each bloom they look lovely and very dimensional. Polka dotted yumm yum ribbon and the branches from the lush Bird Punch.
Lovely and elegant I hope Jo will like.
Right back to the grindstone will be back soon. Till then Hugs xxxx

The coat...

Hi there yes you read that right is so blimmen freezing I need that winter coat back on!! hee hee but that's not what I mean with my title. I am talking about the lovely technique Joseph's coat.
I shot a video for our Stamp With Us members and I fell in love with it all over again. It is such a beautiful technique and like many others so little used.
I have used Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery and Pale Plum for my background colours swirled across some Whisper White card stock, I then embossed in clear the Medallion and Baroque Motifs stamps. The final step was to sponge Elegant Eggplant ink all over the card including the embossed areas. The result dramatic and so very beautiful. I have since played with a fee variations of the same technique you will have to wait and see them soon.
And the flower....

...well the flower was simply made from 1 1/4"circles. Simply twirl the edges against something like a bone folder and bend into a cone shape. Stick in place onto a circle piece and add a centre. Love how this card ended up.
The other thing I wanted to share was my NEW COLOURS. My order arrived last week and I was gutted as I couldn't play till the weekend. Jane a Joanne came over and we all chatted more than crafted but we did manage to make a few cards. This was the first one I made

Finally I managed to ink my Bird on the branch. I adore this set and I love RICH RAZLEBERRY!! But I have to confess I love Melon Mambo more *shock* as I really thought razzle will be my fave.
So Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Summer Sun, the branch was stamped in Soft Suede and the dots in the softer So Saffron.
Right I am off now, thanks for stopping by  hope to see you again soon. Till next time Hugs xxx

Thank God for good friends..

...we went, we shopped and we broke down on our way back. eeek
Hello and apologies for the lack of posts, the plan I made before my weekend away with the girls ended up very much different and I lost a full day which made everything late. We had such a nice day on Saturday trawling the shops on Oxford Street basking in the sunshine as the weather was just gorgeous did a bit more shopping Sunday and set off to come back around 4pm. Nearly a hour onto our journey my dashboard started to look like a fairground ride with many sparkly lights, and so the nightmare that lasted 24 hours began. We ended up spending the night and most of Monday in Milton Keynes while the car got fixed, thank God it was still under warranty. I was also very thankful to have the girls with me, they both stuck with me through the ordeal (and it was an ordeal for me because it was my car that went kaput and they were now stuck because of it).
They are both so lovely and I really treasure their friendship. Thank you girlies for keeping me sane throughout it all.
I made them a card to express my gratitude and bought them a little gift to make sure they will remember our adventure.

I love this colour combo, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and Perfect Plum with the new satin ribbon in Old Olive. This sentiment stamp is my favourite ever and so very fitting for my sweet friends. I used the Medallion background and the Bella Toile one plus the Boho Blossom punch.
I ruffled the layers a little to provide extra dimension to the bloom. Here's a close up.
Well I have some really good news to share with you.

HAPPY ST PATRICK'S DAY!!!

....if you do celebrate it.
We do every year in spite of not being of Irish descendancy.
You see St Pats is very special to me and hubs as it was 13 years ago when we got together at a party. I blame it on the Campari and Orange hubs blames it on Guinness.
And we do have a little bit of a anniversary going on, he never forgets and true this morning I got up to a box of O'Brien Chocs (apropriate) a cute leprechaun card, a bottle of bubbly ( I love bubbles) and.......... A SWEAR POT!!!
Now before you even think about that one I just need you to know that I DON'T HAVE a swear problem and I'm not sure what he means by it LOL.
I am sure those of you that know me will let me know if indeed I have such problem.
Anyway I got him bottle of single Malt and made a leprechaun card as well.

Isn't it cute? he is made entirely from punches and is holding a pint of Guinness !! Perfect hubs card hee hee.
Garden Green card stock stamped with the Medallion background, a variety of Stampin'Up! punches for the little guy, beer mug from the Cheers to you stamp set and a sweet sentiment that spells **Celebrate Luck Day ** as it was a very lucky day for us both.
Ok got to dash still have a million things to do before Friday thank God the Retreat kits are all packed . Cannot wait !! Till next time Hugs xxx

Birthday Passionette...........

YAY is lovely Jo's Happy Birthday today!!! Jo is one of my senior Passionettes and a very valued member of my team, a very sweet girl with a big heart she is a good friend and I am glad to know her. Making her card was a challenge for me as she is the master of Vintage/Grungy work styles that are new and don't come naturally to me. She loves Kraft (she's the one that keeps me on my toes with her fave colours as she's forever changing them) so that's what I went with when I designed her card.

I have attempted a layered look again, and while I think is got that look of newbie at work as supposed to effortlessly put together, I am warming towards this style. I find it challenging and I think that the more I do it the better I will hopefully get. In theory anyway..
I started with a Kraft card blank and stamped the En Francaise background all over in Versamark, I then layered the Medallion background on opposite corners this time I inkded in Creamy Caramel ( I have only inked parts of this stamp for an extra distressed look) and finally I topped the background with the swirly stamp from the Whimsical words Level 2 hostess stamp inked in Chocolate Chip. My focal image was inked using markers and I have combined Taken With Teal, Green Galore and Chocolate Chip. The mated circle was then splattered this was great fun and I might show you how I did it in a future video, Shelli Gardner showed this at one of our early training Events so much fun!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jo, I hope you will have a fabulous day and you will get spoilt rotten by your loved ones. xx
I am in Sheffield all day today today at a training Event for demonstrators during the day and a lovely Experience Event organized for customers in the evening. It should be tons of fun and I am excited to meet with my fellow demos and spend a whole day crafting, chatting and catching up, I cannot wait!!! This is what I love most about being a demo meeting up with my best crafty friends. I hope you will have a lovely day. Hugs xxx
