HAPPY 4TH JULY !!!!!!!!!!!

Today is also my friend's Claudia special day so a very Happy Birthday to you sweetheart, I miss you loads and I cannot wait till your next trip to Europe.

Here's the card I have made for Clau

Some splattering and distressing on this card I really love this set (Whimsical Wings) so much I have used it lots so far.
Combo is Kraft card base, Pretty in Pink, Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip. I used the markers to add colour to the main image and the FRIEND sentiment is from the glorious stamp from the Occasional Greetings set.
 Whimsical Wings is a level 2 hostess set and this means you can earn it for FREE by hosting a workshop. Host a workshop during July and if your total is £250 or more you get an extra £20 worth of free money to spend as you wish in the catalogue, you can EVEN host a VIRTUAL WORKSHOP with me (ask me how). If you are a demonstrator belonging to a different team you are more than welcome to join us along with your downline. Everyone is welcomed, we have such a blast at those events well I am sure you know that happens when you get together with like minded people.
We also swap for ideas at all our events so if you wish you can participate by making multiple of the same project and swap on the day with all the others. FUN!!!
 Please note lunch is not included in the price but there are plenty of places nearby that offer a wide range from pizza to fresh filled sandwiches etc. Refreshments and some sweet goodies are provided and plentiful.

Birthday Passionette...........

YAY is lovely Jo's Happy Birthday today!!! Jo is one of my senior Passionettes and a very valued member of my team, a very sweet girl with a big heart she is a good friend and I am glad to know her. Making her card was a challenge for me as she is the master of Vintage/Grungy work styles that are new and don't come naturally to me. She loves Kraft (she's the one that keeps me on my toes with her fave colours as she's forever changing them) so that's what I went with when I designed her card.

I have attempted a layered look again, and while I think is got that look of newbie at work as supposed to effortlessly put together, I am warming towards this style. I find it challenging and I think that the more I do it the better I will hopefully get. In theory anyway..

I started with a Kraft card blank and stamped the En Francaise background all over in Versamark, I then layered the Medallion background on opposite corners this time I inkded in Creamy Caramel ( I have only inked parts of this stamp for an extra distressed look) and finally I topped the background with the swirly stamp from the Whimsical words Level 2 hostess stamp inked in Chocolate Chip. My focal image was inked using markers and I have combined Taken With Teal, Green Galore and Chocolate Chip. The mated circle was then splattered this was great fun and I might show you how I did it in a future video, Shelli Gardner showed this at one of our early training Events so much fun!!!

I am in Sheffield all day today today at a training Event for demonstrators during the day and a lovely Experience Event organized for customers in the evening. It should be tons of fun and I am excited to meet with my fellow demos and spend a whole day crafting, chatting and catching up, I cannot wait!!! This is what I love most about being a demo meeting up with my best crafty friends. I hope you will have a lovely day. Hugs xxx

Stampin'Up! Whimsical Wings

Hello how are you? We have SNOW covered everything once again!! The roads are so bad I did my fab impression of a sledge coming home from work tonight and I was not that impressed. I don't think it will last long this time but I am still not impressed LOL>

Well before I show you what I have made recently let me just say what a wonderful response I had to my Haiti appeal, I am delighted to have sold 5 sets already, thank you so much to those that ordered I am hopeful that I will reach my goal of selling 10 in the month of February and raising some much needed funds. THANK YOU !!

I have managed to grab some time making a card the other day, I think I have just about caught up with everything including the ironing pile so hopefully I will have a bit more ME time. Working and running your own business can be challenging but I am getting better at managing my time so that helps. Ok so here s my latest masterpiece LOL

Now as you might have noticed I don't use a great deal of patterned paper on my projects, that's because I am a stamper at heart and I am content using my stamps to create backgrounds. But I DO love pretty paper and I think maybe that's part of the problem, I am not using it much cos I don't like cutting into it. Anyway I took a deep breath and used a .......tiny strip of Nouveau Chic. Seriously I fell in love with this, at first I thought they were a bit morbid looking( well you know me and my love of bright colours) but as soon as I clapped eyes on them IRL I was hooked. Very pretty. The colours used are Sage Shadow, So Saffron and Chocolate Chip. I really like how this turned out, the image from the level 2 hostess set Whimsical Wings was stamped using markers but not by myself, it was stamped by Jane one of my friend and customers at my house late last year and she left it with me asking if I could turn it into a card . Well Jane I finally got round to use it, I hope you like it. Right better go to bed now as is nearly midnight, big hugs see you again soon xxx

Birthday Passionette !!!

Hello how are you? Yesterday was Jayne's birthday!!!!! Jayne is one of my much loved Passionettes and she is just lovely, we are yet to meet but I know she's lovely because we chat plenty. This is the card I made to mark her special day.

oh I just love this combo!! Jayne's favourite colour is Hot Pink so I choose Pink Passion. I paired it with Summer Sun and Chocolate Chip for a really punchy combo, it just fascinates you is so bright. And how about that stamp set? Is the new level 2 hostess set called Whimsical Wings and I lubbe it lots. I used the markers to colour the whole image, sentiment part of the set called A Bit Of birthday cheer, taffeta in chocolate chip and the scallop edge punch used to create a border.
