Hello and welcome to our Stamp to Share International Blog Hop !

Stampin Up Varied Vases Card by Monica Gale #varied vases #stampinup #gracefulglassvellum

And we are showcasing the Varied Vases Bundle. If you visited me on Monday you will have seen so other examples made with these lovely vases.

For today's Showcase I stepped up the antics and made a somewhat more involved example. This card is for my sister's birthday ( she doesn't usually check my blog unless I send her to it so I'm keeping my fingers crossed she doesn't see it..... Laura if you see this ahead of time * Surprise !!! isn't it gorgeous ???)

Laura loves orchids, and her windowsills are full with glorious ones always in bloom. She seems to have knack for keeping them thriving so when I thought about the card for her special day, I knew this set would be perfect.

And I spent a little time fussy cutting those tiny orchids and I am fairly sure I won't be doing this in a hurry ... but hey she my only sis and she is definitely worth it.

I have punched the chubby vase out from Whisper White card stock and added some Embossing Paste to it. Its all in the details and my little pot definitely came alive with that extra step.

Before cutting the flowers up I added just a hint of colour to the centres using the Blends. Can you see that fab texture on the vase?? yum yum

And let's just talk about the fabulous Graceful Glass printed Velum shall we?? You can this gorgeous pack here, so many wonderful designs and so easy to use. I have turned mine the other way here as the black lines were a bit too harsh with my soft colour scheme of Powder Pink and Grey Granite... as for the Powder Pink mini Ruffled Ribbon.. well that baby needs no introduction or superlatives of just how gorgeous is it.

Thank you so much for joining me and the rest of the designers today, now hop long to the gorgeous Nadine and see what she has in store today

Epic Celebrations from Stampin'Up FREE until end of March

Buy Stampin'Up Epic Celebrations

Hello there, its Friday and while normally I will be jubilant at the news, I wrote this week off entirely being really ill. Trust me I am not looking for sympathy and I am sick talking about it ( even more sick was being so ill I couldn't even bear to have the sound of the TV on). But its getting a little easier and I just wanted to take a minute to THANK YOU all from the bottom of my heart for your kind well wishes, flowers, gifts and thoughts. My face paralysis is doing SO MUCH better, miraculous in fact ( I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy at the weekend after waking up unable to move my face last Sunday). Its a virus and at such hard to predict but it seems it was temporary and I can smile once again with both sides of my face.  So hopefully a little more rest and I will be raring to go again :)

There is not much time left to collect some of the wonderful freebies in this year's Sale A Bration and Epic Celebrations is one of those sets on offer. I love having the trendy imagery perfect for young at heart..

Epic Celebrations free set from Stampin Up

I paired the Tutti Frutti papers with the trainer image and used the matching cards and envelopes which are also one of the free choices. The trainers were coloured using ink pads and a blender pen. I love those blender pens so handy to have an whip up for a bit of colouring especially on smaller images like this one.

Epic Celebrations, free from Stampin'Up

Bermuda bay and Crumb Cake were my ink colours perfect pairing for the bright Lemon lime twist card Base.

What do you think? Bright and cheery isn't it?

Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for your visit. Much love Monica xoxo

Amazing You Saleabration Blog Hop

Hello there :)
Welcome to our *Amazing You* Stamp To Share Blog Hop. This is definitely one of my favourite Sale a Bration Offerings this time round. It might have something to do with the fact that its has some really great matching framelits.

Amazing You card ideas with Monica Gale

Yikees, look at these colours? Aren't they gorgeous and bright?? I was inspired by a card I saw earlier in the week from a fellow US demo Zahra Premji. Loved those colours together and I was set to used them.

What is so interesting is that this is the second time I have used Lemon lime Twist for these flowers. See my other example HERE where I paired it with So Saffron.

I love the subtle embossed background and the punchy black. The paper is from the Petal Palette Suite.

I coloured the flowers using an empty Wink Of Stella brush filled with water so the flowers have this sparkly effect to them, real pretty and fab way of getting extra miles out of your empty wink of stella's.

And I have created a video tutorial for you today, so if you fancy seeing me working on this beauty Enjoy, and while you are there DON'T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE to my channel !!!

Thank you so much for joining me today, You can go ahead and visit my lovely friend Nadine and see what she has been up to with this beautiful set.

Be Inspired by Texture Blog Hop

Hello there,

What do the Shimmery White Embossing Paste and Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder have in common??

They are excellent providers of texture of course, which is our *Be Inspired* Blog Hop Theme today!!! Thank you so much for joining me :)

I really went to town on this project, but boy I just love the overall effect.

The Cake Soiree Bundle its THE perfect set for all kind of celebrations and I turned it into a three tiers wedding cake, complete with handcrafted flowers and ombre frosting ruffles. It loos good enough to eat but I would course advise against that..

The flowers were stamped using the rock and roll technique ( I demonstrated this in the video), the colours used are Flirty Falmingo and Peek a Boo Peach.

The shimmery paste is beautiful with so much sparkle, and the addition of Flirty Flamingo Ink to add colour, makes it even more beautiful.

And can we talk about that gorgeous sequin folder please? LOVE ...

If you have time you can watch a video showcasing this fab technique

I have listed all of the products used below and want to remind you that today is the last day to use thos month's hostess code. You have until 10pm GMT tonight.

Petal Palette Elegant Card

Hi there,
Was your weekend fabulous?? I hope so.
I am sharing a gorgeously classy card with you today, and please don't fall over but I even have a video.. a rust video.  I know, I bet you didn't think that was even possible anymore. LOL

Earlier this year I took the decision to start sharing more again, and little by little I have  implementing new strategies which put me at a point where I can offer these a bit more frequent.
Hurrahh I say and I hope you do too :)

Here's the card

Aren't those colours just gorgeous?? so soft and elegant looking. Sahara Sand for the base and the front layer with a mat of Champagne Foil, that set off the Razzleberry coloured roses perfectly .

Simple but effective, the white embossed outline really makes the image jump off of the card. A bit of  1/4" Organza Ribbon, and a filigree banner in the same metallic as the mat behind the sentiment, complete the touches to this project.

A little up close and personal and you can really see how gorgeous that filigree banner is. I am a little bit obsessed with it.

What do you think?  You can find a list of all the products used below, and do not forget to use February's code if you fancy any shopping. You will get a lovely gift from me in your postbox.

Here's today's project video. Enjoy and be gentle with me LOL
Thanks for visiting
