I m still alive

Yep I m still here but just snowed under(insert upsidedown smile here). Loads happening, work has been hectic as one of my colleagues was poorly so had to do a bit of extra time, I ve also covered at another office for two days, my good friend Julie gets married this friday coming, so had to plan and execute her wedding cake as well as finding that elusive wedding outfit wich is no easy task before christmas as everything in the shops is glitzy and party orientated, loads of birthdays around this time of year wich means loads of parties( not a good thing for my waistline ) and just generally too tired by the end of the day to do anything. I ve got a few cards to show you tho and the first one is a manly one, I just adore this stamp by, is very large wich means you ve not got too worry about much else and there s not that hard to watercolour also quite handy if the man is poartial to a few glasses of the good old vino. Used Crate Papers, sentiment is by Papertray ink and the hubby bit was cut with the Studio alpha from Quickutz.

Second one is a friendship card, I just love this set from Su is called and the quote is soo beautiful and true

I ve got the base card in my LSS and is just fab cos is patterned on the outside and plain on the inside.I ve glittered and used some diamond glaze for the umbrella not visible on the piccie but really nice IRL.

It was my dear friend Paula s birthday this last week, and Paula loves black and white!!! She is also sharing my passion for all things crafty, and she s a dab hand at it, so I was under a bit of pressure to create her a card that she would like. I ve decided to use my trusted Happy Hearts(she dosent like flowery) set from SU for this and set about a monochrome scheme, this is what I ve come up with

Used the script embossing folder from cuttlebug for the lower half, then stamped and embossed in black all the hearts from the set, added some grosgrain ribbon across then mounted the hearts on diferent thickness 3d pads and added some self adeshive pearls that Anna Moore purchased for me from Lakeland( Thanks again Anna). I think she liked it she said so...

I ve been playing with my december kit from Scrapagogo and it is just gorgeous, if you re subscribing to the kit you will just love decembers, I did!! but unfortunately I m not allowed to show you what I did with it for now, but I can show you what i did with novembers wich was just yummy.

Gorgeous DCWV papers, in the most fabulos colours and with added glitter who could resist them? I ve decided to make a few cards and with the leftovers just simply made some tree decorations. The stars were made by folding (concertina way) the papers and hold together by a staple in the middle and then the ends just taped together, and the round bauble was simply made by punching out 20 circles, you can find more detailed instructions here. Here s a card that I ve made using more of the same papers

Just like any respectable girly girl out there, top of my Christmas wish list would be yet another pair of shoes LOL. Used the yummy papers to cut diferent size boxes and the free stamp this month was that fantastic looking shoe on top. Used ribbons, sequins and black stickles all from the kit to add extra interest.

Then there was the pink papers and stickers, wich again were divine and sparkly and just fabby!!All elements on this card were included in the kit!!!

I ve also made a sympathy card wich I know is not top priority on nobody s list, but unfortunately we all need them at some point. The kit contained a stuning black and white butterfly and i new instantly what i wanted to use him for... this!!!!

So hopefully I ll get to finish the wedding cake in time, find some time to craft a bit, also find time to decorate my house, finish my shopping(I haven t started yet!!) and loose another 4 lbs ready to put them all back on over the festive period LOL.

Have yourself a stress free week I ll see ya!!!

Oh almost forgot here s a card I ve cased after seeing a similar one in Marks n Sparks

Letters cut on my Expression and then further cut by hand, a chipboard snowflake handcut from a flower shape and glittered to the sky and back, sparkly gems and the baroque stamp is by Ki memories. Thanks for stopping by, see ya!!!
