Vintage Vogue for friend

Hello there, I thought I better update this blog as I was starting to get emails asking me whether I was alive LOL. End of the month are so stressful, as is at this time my Virtual Hostess clubs are due so is a bit of a task keeping everything in order. Talking about clubs I have a new one starting as soon as is full so if you fancy being part of the next one please get in touch with me at telemech01ataol.com. You can find more details HERE.
I am sharing with you today my very last class over at StampWith Us .
Is very hard not to fall in love with this set. This was designed with my friend Julie in mind, is her Birthday gift( is ok she doesn't read this blog so I am ok sharing it), and I choose the colours to match her interior her fave colour is brown as well. So I paired chocolate chip with Really Rust and Kraft. The flowers were stamped in Creamy Caramel and Really Rust. The card is a version of a joy fold card but the sizes have been played with a bit. Flat back pearls finish off this elegant trio. I love adding stamping to home decor it just shows that you don't have to keep it for card and scrap pages only.

Well I has such a nice surprise the other day. Being a demonstrator has many perks and the reward system for those hard working is very generous. Each year SU organize an Incentive Trip that demonstrators can earn, is an all expenses paid trip and I was one of the lucky ones who made it last year. We leave in 3 weeks time to the magnificent Monaco. We are staying at the most luxurious hotel ( I just love the music to the intro) and I am getting excited now.
Of course high on the agenda is shopping for appropriate clobber with a budget fit for Primani LOL. What does one wear in Monaco I wonder? I have a shopping spree organized with my lovely downline Julie so we will both look for something together, should be fun and I am looking forward to it. I am so glad she will be there with me along with 14 other demonstrators from UK< France and Germany .
So the nice surprise was my travelling documents with an agenda of what they have in store for us on this trip. (pics. shamelessly nicked from my fellow demo Natalie O'Shea)
Lots of fab activities with leisure time thrown in( good job as I want to do a few things while there). I won't give to much away as I am hoping to blog my entire experience for my readers.
Along with nice tags and the agenda we also had a price list for all the SPA treatments, I nearly died at the 140 Euros facial and at the 90 Euros manicure. Ah to live the high life LOL
Right well if you are lucky enough to have holidayed in Monaco let me know what are the must do things please, I would love to hear from you.
Till next time BIG HUGS xxxx

Birthday Passionette...........

Hello there, well I had all the good intentions in posting this yesterday but I failed miserably. I had such a busy day, busy but  very enjoyable **GRINS**

For starters it was Dawn's Special Day YAY!!!
Now Dawn is so loved by everyone, she is an absolute diamond of a girl and I am lucky to know her, very kind hearted and truly beautiful.
Dawn fave colour is Pink and my favourite new colour is Melon Mambo so what was I to do? make her a card of course.
I have loosely used a sketch from our next challenge at Stamp With Us and paired Mambo with So Saffron and Old Olive.  The crazy for cupcakes is a set I haven't inked in a while and it was good working with it, like visiting an old friend.
I have coloured the cupcake using markers and I have started with Barely Banana, then More Mustard, Really Rust and Close to Cocoa. For the frosting I used Pretty in Pink and Pink passion then using the Versamark pen I added heat and stick and dazzling diamonds all over.
And as if that wasn't enough I took my Vintage Vogue set and the Bird punch and added a fun dimensional accent, well Dawn is very special so I wanted her to have an extra special cupcake.
Here's a close up of the said element.
I was very pleased with it I hope Dawn liked it just as much.

I have also sent a little surprise for Dawn as she is always sending me something, I said she is very kind didn't I? Dawn I really hope you had a wonderful day, big hugs xxx.

Now the second nice surprise is that Stampin 'Up! announced  the location for the next annual Convention which is to be held in London. Just look at this for a magnificent spot. I am sooo excited to spend nearly 3 days with a few hundred of demonstrators from the 3 European markets having a copious amount of insane FUN> is just the best thing ever. This event is only available to demonstrators so what are you waiting for? Contact me and become a Passionette then you can join us all at this amazing event. This is the Oscars of SU, not to be missed for sure.

I don't think I mentioned the fact that it was just the most beautiful and warm day so spirits was high. If you are a regular blog reader you will have known that not that long ago my car broke down while travelling back from  weekend away in London with my friends. Well I have to confess that I fell out of love with that car.
So we talked about maybe changing it and today we test drove 2 vehicles. And we decided on the one I said I would never want, and now I REALLY, REALLY WANT IT!! LOL
Extremely silly grin on my face and freakish eyes but this car made me happy, I loved it. Trouble is I think I need to make some more money and fast, my question is Would you like to book a workshop with me? LOL. Until I make more money I will count on hubs to make this happen if not I 'll live.
And to finish off a lovely day we went to see my lovely Passionette Jules perform in Footlosse. OH WOW!! the show was spectacular and Julie blew my socks off, I never knew she could sing like that, brilliant she was like the whole of the cast, these guys were as far away from the word amateur as it could get. I am already excited for the next performance.
So thank you if you read so far I had a wonderful day and I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend the weather is supposed to be warm and sunny and I could do with topping my sun tan off which I might just do.
Have a great weekend yourself till next time Hugs xxx

Hello there...

How are you? In the best of spirits I hope due to this wonderful sunshine, it seems that i always talk about the weather when I blog, but I am sooo looking forward to Summer LOL> and it looks like it might be on the way. woohoo.
Today s project is one I designed for Stamp With Us online classes and this time is time for Men. I know we all break in to a cold sweat when we are thinking about them but they have to be done and after all with a bit of imagination they can easily be achieved .
I took a pack of To The Nines speciality paper and went from there by adding a bit of Really Rust to the Sage Shadow, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip .

For the tie card I dyed some of our narrow twill and simply tied a knot while hiding the end inside the knot if that makes any sense at all lol.

The card on the right shows how you can use a variety of birthday related sentiment stamps add them all in a block of alternating colours for a really fun effect.

And the third one maybe the most boring out of them all but perfect for any guy out there, you just can't go wrong with stars for men.

The gable box is the perfect size for a aftershave bottle or you could add whatever else you might like, a tie, fave sweets anything really.
I really like how this project turned out and I will offer it as a class to go on my website, should you be interested in offering it to your customers(if you are a demo) or simply purchase it for your own need.
Right well I need to dash till next time Hugs xxx

Fox and Friends plus I Heart Hearts...

Hello and Happy New start of the week!! I am so busy this week with team trainings and a few workshops is all go this morning. I am sharing two lovely and BRIGHT cards.

I Heart Hearts and a combo of Melon mambo, Taken With Teal paper from the Sweet Pea paper stack, and Always Artichoke. Used the Medallion again as frankly is just too beautiful not to and I love backgrounds on cards. Simple card but the combo makes it.
Next a matching one this time going a bit brighter, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie. The square scallop punch makes for easy layers simply arranged in a grid pattern, each square holding a stamped image from the Fox and Friends set . One of the squares houses the sentiment which comes from the Loads of Love accessories.
They are really cheery perfect for Summer celebrations.

Now do you remember this album?

I have TWO kits left ready to go for only £7 plus p&p. They come with full instructions and all the elements needed in order to complete it.

Please get in touch at telemech01ATaol.com  if you would like to purchase one.
Right better dash and get something done today. Till next time Hugs xxx

Sunny Days..

are here I THINK!!! We have wonderful sunshine here today let's just hope it long continues.  And the title matches one of my projects today.
This was one of my classes designed for Stamp With Us online.
A sweet album made from envelopes in  bright colours perfect for those Summer Holidays. I cannot wait to fill mine it has tons of room for lots of photos and tags for journalling.
The papers used are from the Kaleidoscope collection and I am on my second pack. I do love them the catalogue pictures do not do them justice. I have also decorated the from with some sticky cuts and lots of glitter it really sparkles and shimmers IRL. The umbrella was made from punches  and it adds a fun element to the front.
The second lot of projects are some sweet thank you cards I made for those that ordered my sampler's packs. It was only natural that I would be using the new colours , in fact I have not stopped stamping different combinations since I got them. I truly love this combo
YUMMY! Rich Razzleberry, More Mustard, Melon Mambo, Soft Suede and a little button accent in Tempting Turquoise. I actually mixed the cards with three of the colours of those playground buttons.

You can  see the cards work well with the Old Olive and the Mustard buttons. Stamp set used Circle Circus and a hefty dose of Shimmer paint was spritzed over plus a few beads of crystal effect to ad interest. Gold cord was threaded through the buttons.
Right I have my Summer pots to plant today seen as the weather is nice, they won't go out just yet but they need to be done to have time to bush up. have a lovely weekend till next time Hugs xxx

Birthday Passionette...........

Hi there today is a very special day, because is Jo's Happy Birthday.
Jo is a sweetheart she joined my team over a year ago and she loves being a demonstrator, I don't think she ever missed a training event she loves people and our get together.
Jo's favourite colour is blue and I know just what you're thinking THAT S NOT very blue but it has got some blue in it. It also has the new Soft Suede card and ribbon. I added some Mustard stamped with the Medallion  background. The sculpted flowers which are all the rage at the minute have been made with the small heart punch you need 8 heart shapes for each bloom they look lovely and very dimensional. Polka dotted yumm yum ribbon and the branches from the lush Bird Punch.
Lovely and elegant I hope Jo will like.
Right back to the grindstone will be back soon. Till then Hugs xxxx

The coat...

Hi there yes you read that right is so blimmen freezing I need that winter coat back on!! hee hee but that's not what I mean with my title. I am talking about the lovely technique Joseph's coat.
I shot a video for our Stamp With Us members and I fell in love with it all over again. It is such a beautiful technique and like many others so little used.
I have used Apricot Appeal, Certainly Celery and Pale Plum for my background colours swirled across some Whisper White card stock, I then embossed in clear the Medallion and Baroque Motifs stamps. The final step was to sponge Elegant Eggplant ink all over the card including the embossed areas. The result dramatic and so very beautiful. I have since played with a fee variations of the same technique you will have to wait and see them soon.
And the flower....

...well the flower was simply made from 1 1/4"circles. Simply twirl the edges against something like a bone folder and bend into a cone shape. Stick in place onto a circle piece and add a centre. Love how this card ended up.
The other thing I wanted to share was my NEW COLOURS. My order arrived last week and I was gutted as I couldn't play till the weekend. Jane a Joanne came over and we all chatted more than crafted but we did manage to make a few cards. This was the first one I made

Finally I managed to ink my Bird on the branch. I adore this set and I love RICH RAZLEBERRY!! But I have to confess I love Melon Mambo more *shock* as I really thought razzle will be my fave.
So Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Summer Sun, the branch was stamped in Soft Suede and the dots in the softer So Saffron.
Right I am off now, thanks for stopping by  hope to see you again soon. Till next time Hugs xxx

That Monday feeling..

Hello eeek is Monday again!!
I like Monday's as they are officially my days off apart from when I am covering for holidays, and today i am not covering Woop woop. I have tons to do like ever but my most important mission is to get my craft room sorted, seriously I am long overdue for a good clear out.
Is my turn to post  a technique over at Stamp With Us today and we have a live chat tonight as well. Cannot wait hopefully I will manage to have a clear desk so that I can take part in the challenge I never get to play. Talking about Stamp With Us I never got round of posting my first class project.
You see is our first Birthday so I had to go with the Birthday theme for my first project. I choose to work with my favourite ever Birthday set the yummy Big Bold Birthday!! I just love this set and I just love the colour combo.
Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie and Tempting Turquoise, the patterned paper is from the lovely Sweet Pea stack and I have used a few different ribbons all coordinating. I just wish I took a better picture of this, looking at it makes me wanna laugh. You get the idea however.
The gift bag is really strong and so easy to make but it could equally be used to house a few cards and envelopes perfect for a gift.
Here are some of the cards, now I stamped the bows on top of the gifts twice for a fuller effect and it really messes with my eyes, I wish I only did it once. I used the new heart punch to perfectly punch those little hearts out.

Next one is using the scallop oval punch to add a scalloped border all around the circle, and multi coloured brads to act as sprinkles.

The last one is my favourite, simple layout but it works well, and it has yummy sparkly glitter as sprinkles.

I hope you like them and if you want to join us is not too late, just follow this link and complete the buy it now button.
Have a wonderful day hopefully next time I update this I will do so from a tidy craft space, wish me luck. Till then Hugs xxx
