Hellooooo there, I am so looking forward to 4th August this will be my last day in work and I cannot wait. I am pooped by the time I get home from work and too tired to do anything else. I am also looking forward to have more time to spend on my Stampin Up! business.
The marker share is now FULL!! Thank you all that joined, I am sure you will absolutely love those pens, I couldn’t get by without them I use them more than any other colouring medium. If you are reading this and you hate that you missed out please get in touch with me as I am happy to start another one if the demand is there.
Today’s card took me 2 minutes from start to finish. I find making cards for older boys a bit of a challenge and as I was thinking what I could do and flicking through the catalogue I come across the *GOOD TIMES* scrapping kit. Now I had this since February this year and didn’t even look at it, I bought it with the intentions of scrapping some birthday photos of Luca but never got round to it.
You can see why it only took me 2 minutes. The wonderful accents are just perfect for quick cards. Colours of the kit are Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry.
Its not exciting, but I am sure one 12 year boy will find it appropriate.
Measurements:
Start with a Wild Wasabi card base measuring 15cm x 15 cm
Cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie designer paper at 9cm x 14.5cm, use the scallop border punch to add a decorative edge.
Cut a piece of Marina Mist designer paper at 7cm x 14.5cm and lay this on top of previous layer the stick down onto the card base.
For the focal panel cut Pumpkin Pie dsp at 9 cm x 9 cm and a layer of whisper white at 8cm x 8cm.
Layer the self adhesive elements to suit and add a length of twill ribbon to finish. Ok I am off as I am cutting and packing up kits for our first Christmas Club session of the year this Sunday. Is a pretty full class so it will take me a while . I will share all the pretty cards we will be making on Sunday.
See you very soon, till then big hugs xx
