Hello everyone I hope you had a good weekend and survived Monday :)
Last time I blogged I told you I was spending Saturday with a lovely group of crafters. We had a lovely day with yummy food and creative projects.
I was all ready and out the door when the phone rang, I looked at it and instantly panicked as it was from my sister, now I panicked as it was before 9 am and she NEVER rings that early on a weekend. As I answered my ears were pierced by Luca’s screaming saying “Mimi my tooth fell out !!! “ LOL
This tooth started wobbling weeks ago and it finally gave up the fight. I love how geeky he looks in this picture. At last the Fairy would visit him :)
And here’s one of the projects the ladies and gent did on Saturday.
A simple card using Dress Up framelits. I didn’t rush to buy these dies but when I eventually got round to it I was so glad I did. They are so much fun!!. You have 2 styles of dresses and the fab manikin shape.
My combo dictated by the designer papers was Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry and summer Starfruit.
The stand was cut in crumb cake. Sentiment comes from the Petite Pairs set and it was cut with the Large Oval and Scallop oval punches.
I folded some pool party seam binding in half and tied it round the waist line before adding a little rose and a rhinestone.
The background was embossed with the square lattice embossing folder and the Big shot machine.
Thank you for visiting me today hope to see you again soon. Should you want to purchase any of the products on this project please do not hesitate to contact me.
Till next time Big Hugs xx
Ha ha - he doesn't look geeky at all - he is the most gorgeous boy. Such a shame our babies have to grow up.
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet baby... Those are my favorite pictures, the first missing tooth..... He's absolutely darling, not geeky at all....lol
ReplyDeleteVery cute card...this die has become my favorite....
This is such a fun card! I bought this bundle but haven't really had the desire to use it.....until now!!
ReplyDeleteYou've shown me how wonderfully creative I can be with it and make it look like a sewn dress rather than a stamped image! Wonderful!!
