Hello and Happy Monday to you all. Today it has been a happy er Monday if such a thing existed because for the first time in aaages we saw the sunshine and so far not a drop of rain, its been crisp and bright just like winter should be, I hate the damp:(.
Today I am sharing a card we made at our last team training day in January. I have also sneakily inserted it into my Feb’s class to :)
Happy Watercolour was the first stamp set that fell into my basket from the new Spring Catalogue. I love flowers and I love colouring in BUT only if the images are small. I cannot start on large images that take a long time, I am all about the quick and this set fits me perfectly.
Colouring and shading takes practice but here I demonstrated how to achieve an OK look in seconds, yes that image should take you less than a minute to colour.
We used a blender pen and some reinker in shades of crisp cantaloupe, pistachio pudding and coastal cabana.
Here’s a close up
This technique won’t win you a prize but it will win you your recipient admiration for sure.
So I will love you and leave you, hope your week will be a productive and bright one.
Thank you for your visit and as always
xoxoxoxo
