Be Inspired Blog Hop- Sale a Bration 2019

Hello there world :),

And I chose the butterflies!!! you see I can't be blamed really as for some unknown reason Mother Nature got really confused this February and our weather in the UK is positively Summer like. Feels so nice but the cynical in me can't help think that we might be paying for this early happiness.. I hope not.

The Botanical Butterfly paper is gorgeous and best of all is FREE with a qualifying purchase of £45.

I used Balmy Blue for the first time since its release and I love it. I am an autumn girl and not immediately drawn to pastel shades, but I have to say this blue grounded by the black looks sophisticated and just right.

The papers are not the only free item on this card, so are the Butterfly Elements. They coordinate beautifully and this card really came together quick because they're was nothing to colour, just a bit of fussy cutting a stamped sentiment and voila my card was ready to spread little happiness to a friend that's struggling a bit right now.

One last shot to show you how much dimension this little card has. And of course the Polka Dot white tulle ribbon is still my total addiction and it pairs wonderfully here with those yummy papers.

Incredible Like You

Hello again, I hope you had a good weekend and a good start of the week. My intention was to blog this yesterday, but what do you know the day ran out with me so here I am a day later. Monday's are always so busy, do you find that? 

Today I am sharing a Birthday Card I made for my lovely friend Alison.

And I turned to the fabulous kit Incredible like You, to help me out. I love, love, love this kit but I needed my card to be a little more special so I choose to beef it up a little to create a larger size. (14.5cm x 14.cm)

The colours in this kit are so pretty, my base is Lovely Lipstick and a layer of Coastal Cabana was added to the edge. I stamped a bit of a background using the coordinating stamp set then I simply cut one of the card bases and adhered to my card base. 

Now, can we please talk a little about this beautiful laser cut top layer? it matches the watercoloured design perfectly. And because of the bold design there really wasn't much more this card needed in order to give it that WOW factor. A few gold splatters with the shimmer paint and a little bow made with the tulle polka dot ribbon was all that it needed.

I hope you enjoyed Ali's card as much as I enjoyed making it.

Be Inspired Blog Hop- Love and Friendship

I bet you was wondering where I disappeared again??? I've taken few weeks off to focus on some health issues but I am back and everything is good again :)

Our Blog Hop theme, with the Be Inspired Team is Love and Friendship and I combined the two. A love card for a true friend,

I was inspired by a scrapbooking layout I noticed on my Insta scrolling and thought *I can turn that sweet idea into a card * !! And here it is, not a bit of stamping on it *shocked* and I've used more dies that I care to count, however I love having crds like these in my display arsenal that show customers various products so I am not sorry at all :)

I have used the Large Letters framelits combined with the new Be Mine Stitched set from the Spring Catalogue and they are divine, spot that cute scalloped stitched edge too - MUCHO LOVE.

Now, can we please take a moment to admire that cute designer paper? It's the Needlepoint Nook on page 39 of the Spring Summer Catalogue and its drool worthy, I m quite smitten and I loved that I got to use most of the patterns of one card.

Check those close-up details, it has texture, thanks to the Subtle embossing folder and dimension thanks to me fussy cutting those sweet little flowers and mounting them onto dimensional pads for a bit extra oomph.

Be Inspired by Vellum Blog Hop

Hello there lovely reader of mine :)

I hope this finds you well and your week is going great. Its time for me to hop with my talented friends from the Be Inspired Team and tis time its Vellum we are playing with.

Now please don't judge me, while my project definitely uses vellum its not the star of the show but my goodness its cute :

I designed this for my Fall Retreat at the Manor House in October and I loved the cute little sleigh ornaments I made simply out of lolly sticks stained with our gorgeous inks. 

 Alpine Adventure Bundle is such a fabulous duo I think most people overlooked it in the catalogue.  The Vellum was embossed with our new Subtle Dynamic Folder and it really turned that smooth Vellum into something special. If you have them in your stamp room please go and give it a go now to see just how fab it is, if you haven't please go and buy some here :)

Two of these ornaments fitted perfectly into an acetate box, making them a perfect gift for someone this Festive Season. I will have a list of all the products used at the end of this post if you are interest in all the little details.

Team Congratulations

Hello there,
WOW its Friday and the working week is nearly over. I hope you have a lovely weekend planned of crafting and relaxing.

Now if I haven't told you lately that I think I have the BEST team out there, now its the time to do so. They are just the most incredible bunch of individuals from all walks of life, and connected by this wonderful and magic thread called Stampin'Up!

These were a bunch of cards that I recently sent out to them together with gifts that contained exciting new products from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue, to recognise their hard work and achievements. 

Now let me say that not everyone is running their own stampin' business, but everyone achieves things with Stampin'Up! and gets recognised by myself. 

We have those business builders and we have people that are happy to just buy for themselves and their friends enjoying the discount, enjoying the friendship and fellowship our lovely team provides, and I love and appreciate each and every one of them the same.

The stamp set used its called Hand Delivered and its one of my favourite sets. Its fun, chic and perfect for the modern woman. (this time it was ladies only in the promotion bunch but we have gents as well and we might just be guilty of fussing over them a bit too much LOL) 

I stamped the skirt legs and balloons using the Stamparatus to align everything properly and coloured it using our Stampin' Blends from our own range of alcohol markers. The colours used were, Smoky Slate, Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink. All together they gave a soft colour combination that looked a lot nicer in real life then my edited pictures here, sorry about that. 

I accented the stamped panels with some sparkly Silver Glimmer Card and the wonderful and new Chicken Wire Elements ( if you haven't seen this new product yet you simply have to its great stuff) 

Used punches to layer the sentiment and add some more of the colour to the neutral cards and finished off by tying some silver trim and polka dot ribbon to the base of the balloons for that extra texture. I was delighted with how they came out I hope you like them too.

And I also cooked up a lovely Paper Share for those that would look to sample it. 

Every year around this time I am always on a quandary of what to buy first from the New Catalogue and every year I wish I could get it ALL> but the reality is I am always on a budget.. well Shares are a wonderful way for everyone to get to sample a piece of the good stuff.
