Pop Up House Congrats ..

Hello again,
I hope the sun is shining where you are and you have asking in your step as the weekend is upon us.
I woke up happy and loving life, its officially Summer and the best thing??? it looks and feels like it is. I love English Summers, everything is green and lush looking and of course the gardens are blooming furiously .. just lovely.

I have a New Home card to share today. One of my besets friends recently moved home and I ordered the Pop Up Bundle thinking I am going to have ago at some more complicated then a flat fronted card.

Well I failed big time as you can see. Sadly time restraints got the better of me and I was late sending it anyway so I chose to play "house" instead. I had such a great time putting it together, choosing the door colour, the curtains, planting the window box... 

I used Gray Granite Card for my base and my stamping layer, I wanted the card to have a different vibe then if it was stamped on a  white background and I am pleased how it turned out. 

I have used my Stampin Blends to colour all the elements and a jolly good time I had doing it LOL.

How was your weekend ? Ours was a mixture of jobs and visiting with the family for a BBQ. 

And I also cooked up a lovely Paper Share for those that would look to sample it. 

Every year around this time I am always on a quandary of what to buy first from the New Catalogue and every year I wish I could get it ALL> but the reality is I am always on a budget.. well Shares are a wonderful way for everyone to get to sample a piece of the good stuff.

My share is intended to be a taster really, you will receive one piece of 6"x6" or 6"x12" respectively of every design from the following packs:

Please note: Because the 12x12 sheets are being cut into smaller 6x6 size some of the larger scale patterns design would end up cut in half, the beauty of the SU papers is that they are double sided and totally coordinating so you would be able to use the other side.

When New Stampin'Up meets Old

Stampin Up New Catalogue, Buy Stampin Up UK 
Hello there,
We are on the brink of the New 2018-2017 Stampin'Up Catalogue and I cannot wait to share it with you. Its being released tomorrow and if you haven't got a copy of it yet please let me know so that I can send you one. The last of my batch are being sent today so they should arrive just in time :)

One of the sets retiring ( you only have until tonight at 10pm to order it ) is the gorgeous Grown with Love and that's where this cute watering can came from.

I have paired with what's going to quite possibly be THE BEST designer paper I have ever seen. Its called Delightfully Detailed and its to die for. Gorgeous laser cut lace... really beautiful. 

To make this card I have used the leftover pieces of this paper coloured using my markers as well as some of the flowers that come in the set which were stamped and cut out by hand. 

Isn't it pretty? I stamped the can in Smoky Slate ink and the flowers have been coloured in a mixture of Fresh Fig, Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry. 

And here's another example using the same fab paper in a different way. For this card I have coloured one of the trellis pieces black using the ink pad.

This gorgeous flower is from the You've Got This set and it also a retiring set ( you can buy yours here)

Rainbows and Unicorns Magical Day from Stampin Up

Goodness, this week feels like is slipping away fast, not helped by the fact that here in the UK we had a long weekend off work, with a bank holiday Monday.

I am sharing a drop dead, gorgeously cute card with you today. And its a case of a similar one I found on Pinterest but sadly one that doesn't go to a website, so I cannot link to it as a source but if was pretty much identical apart form the Unicorn.

Yiikkeeesss !!! Isn't it gorgeous and FUN ?? I simply love the dreamy sponged background with the textured dots and my Happy Unicorn floating all over it. 

The colours inks I have used are Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Pool Party.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink, onto vellum cardstock and heath embossed in white powder. Magical effect,  it looks so gorgeous in real life especially as the Unicorn has shimmer added to it.

Be Inspired by Something New ... Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog today ,
The Be Inspired Team are hopping around the world and this time we take inspiration from NEW LIFE

I chose to made a baby and card I struggled a bit, what I had in my head didn't translate that well into reality. Oh well we can't be FABULOUS all of the time can we??

I used the Swirly Bird images, a set I think I only ever used once before, do you feel sad when your stamping supplies do not get enough attention? I wanted this chic and sophisticated colour combo sort of a french inspired so I chose Marian Mist, Real Red and Sahara Sand.

Its cute and not as bad as I make it sound and the swirly bird set really is a useful one, those shapes can create lots of wonderful images and I loved how I was able to get two different styles * bateaux* with the same stamps.. Now the stork and the cute clouds were from the hostess set In the City, I love this fab set and its another one I haven't used much but I had a need for it twice this month so I guess you have to wait for the right time.

The sentiment is also from the In The City and it was punched put with the useful Classic Label punch

Amazing You Saleabration Blog Hop

Welcome to our *Amazing You* Stamp To Share Blog Hop. This is definitely one of my favourite Sale a Bration Offerings this time round. It might have something to do with the fact that its has some really great matching framelits.

Yikees, look at these colours? Aren't they gorgeous and bright?? I was inspired by a card I saw earlier in the week from a fellow US demo Zahra Premji. Loved those colours together and I was set to used them.

What is so interesting is that this is the second time I have used Lemon lime Twist for these flowers. See my other example HERE where I paired it with So Saffron. 

I love the subtle embossed background and the punchy black. The paper is from the Petal Palette Suite.

I coloured the flowers using an empty Wink Of Stella brush filled with water so the flowers have this sparkly effect to them, real pretty and fab way of getting extra miles out of your empty wink of stella's.
