Wedding Bells…with punches
Talking about cake I am showing you a card that I loved making, it is for a friend that just got married. I have used strips of card to make the cake layers and punches to add the yummy icing.
Colours used are So saffron, Very vanilla and Whisper White. The cake layers have been embossed using the Big shot and the top flowers have been made using the Boho Blossom punch. Scrunch the shapes and separate the card stock layers then add on top of each other for a full and pretty looking bloom.
The card blank measures 15cm x 15cm, so saffron dsp layer measures 14cmx14cm
Another vanilla layer cut at 12.5x12.5cm and one of so saffron cut at 12cm x 12cm were added to the previous two. For the cake now
The cake used strips of card measuring 4.5cm wide by 8.5cm long for the bottom, then 6.5cm long for the middle tier and 4.5 cm for the top tier. They have all been embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper and Polka Dot embossing folders. The icing was made using the 3/4”circle punch.
I hope you enjoyed my wedding card I shall have to make another one for a wedding we’re attending in less then 3 weeks.

2 Minute Boys cards
The marker share is now FULL!! Thank you all that joined, I am sure you will absolutely love those pens, I couldn’t get by without them I use them more than any other colouring medium. If you are reading this and you hate that you missed out please get in touch with me as I am happy to start another one if the demand is there.
Today’s card took me 2 minutes from start to finish. I find making cards for older boys a bit of a challenge and as I was thinking what I could do and flicking through the catalogue I come across the *GOOD TIMES* scrapping kit. Now I had this since February this year and didn’t even look at it, I bought it with the intentions of scrapping some birthday photos of Luca but never got round to it.
You can see why it only took me 2 minutes. The wonderful accents are just perfect for quick cards. Colours of the kit are Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie and Rich Razzleberry.
Its not exciting, but I am sure one 12 year boy will find it appropriate.
Measurements:
Start with a Wild Wasabi card base measuring 15cm x 15 cm
Cut a piece of Pumpkin Pie designer paper at 9cm x 14.5cm, use the scallop border punch to add a decorative edge.
Cut a piece of Marina Mist designer paper at 7cm x 14.5cm and lay this on top of previous layer the stick down onto the card base.
For the focal panel cut Pumpkin Pie dsp at 9 cm x 9 cm and a layer of whisper white at 8cm x 8cm.
Layer the self adhesive elements to suit and add a length of twill ribbon to finish. Ok I am off as I am cutting and packing up kits for our first Christmas Club session of the year this Sunday. Is a pretty full class so it will take me a while . I will share all the pretty cards we will be making on Sunday.
See you very soon, till then big hugs xx
Supplies: All Stampin’Up! unless otherwise stated
PAPER: Wild Wasabi card stock, Good times scrapping kit

Because I Care- Bleaching Technique
Right then today’s card features an old technique Bleaching. I have to admit to rarely using it, but I played with different ways of colouring on darker card stock lately and this is one of the wonderful ways you can achieve this look.
The card stock base and designer paper are Not Quite Navy, the main layer River Rock and a very vanilla layer peeking from behind. The other stamp set used is the gorgeous French Foliage from the Stampin Up mini catalogue. The text was stamped in crumb cake ink on the vanilla layer along with the seal stamp which was inked using a not quite navy ink pad.
For the focal panel I used River Rock card, I stamped the gorgeous hydrangea head from the hostess set *Because I Care*and heat embossed in black , I then bleached the image using a paintbrush and neat household bleach.
After it dried I started adding colour using the markers. The effect is wonderfully rich and the flower head really stands out against the darker background. I have used the following markers to colour with: Bashful Blue and Pacific Point for the flowers and Pear Pizzaz and old Olive for the leaves. I have also used a Signo white pen to add some highlights in the centre of the tiny flowers. Markers are fabulous for colouring techniques they blend easily and you have the benfit of being able to use them on the rubber stamps as they are waterbased not alchool based.
Here are the measurements for the layers and a list of supplies.
Not Quite Navy Designer Paper from the Regals collection stack cut at 9.5 cm x 14cm
River Rock layer measures 7cm x 11.5cm
Very vanilla layer cut at 7cm x 5cm
Supplies: All Stampin’Up! unless otherwise stated
PAPER: not quite navy, river rock, very vanilla cardstock, not quite navy designer paper stack
STAMP SETS: Because I Care, French Foliage,
INKS: Versamark ink, pear pizzaz, old olive, bashful blue and pacific point markers
TOOLS: Heath Gun, aqua brush
EMBELISHMENTS: flat back pearls and twill ribbon.
MISCELLANEOUS: household bleach, fine black embossing powder, white signo pen.
Thank you for stopping by see you again soon, till then big hugs xx

How to … MAKE A MONSTER
This was for a little boy called Theo one of Luca’s(my gorgeous nephew) best friends.
Theo had a dinosaur party theme but unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to cook up some punch art and went with monsters instead.
Make a monster stamp set from the main StampinUp catalogue is perfect to build out of space scenes so this is exactly what I have created for Theo.
Nice and bright as well cos we know kids like colour!! and the brighter the better!!
Is another easel card just like yesterday’s one and the measurements are exactly the same, I find using the same layout to be the best solution when I’m short of time .
Here’s the measurements for the layers:
To make the easel card cut a sheet of A4 Tempting turquoise card in half, then fold the top half in half again.
Real Red layer measures 9.cm x 12.5cm
Whisper White layer is cut at 8.5cm x 12cm
To make the crater filled planet I have used to semicircles in old olive card and used a selection of circle punches to randomly punch holes in.Stick these two together using dimensionals for a fun 3 D effect.
I stamped the monsters onto watercolour paper in black and coloured them using re inkers. I have used pumpkin pie, tempting turquoise, daffodil delight and old olive.
Cut them out and add them to the planet and the white layer before adhering to the red layer and the card blank.
The layers for the bottom of the easel are as follow:
Real red card stock cut at 10.5cmx6cm, you will want to ass a decorative edge here using the scallop border punch.
Tempting turquoise designer paper 10.5cm x 4cm
The sentiment has been stamped in two sections. I used a marker to ink and stamp the word HAPPY first, cleaned my stamp then inked and stamped the word BIRTHDAY further along making sure I left enough space to add my number FOUR scallop circle element.
What do you think?
I was assured by my sis that the kids liked their cards so Happy days!! oh and Luca had the time of his life at both parties so we are now busy planning his, we spoke on Skype this morning and he just chats and chats and very rarely stops for breath (wonder where he gets it from?) anyway I said to him
Me: Luca you are way to gorgeous !!!
Luca’s reply: I know Mimi !!
Right I will see you very soon with a more grown up affair. Till then big hugs xxx
Supplies: All Stampin’Up! unless otherwise stated
PAPER: real red, tempting turquoise, old olive, and whisper white cardstock, tempting turquoise designer paper stack

Stampin’ Punch Art..
We finished off a yummy lunch while watching the Grand Prix and life couldn't get any better after I had a bowl of crushed meringues with fresh raspberries and Jersey cream, yum!. Thank you to all that took the time to email or leave a comment on yesterday’s post. I kinda guessed what the answer would be, so I will try and give you a cutting guide for the layers on my cards .
Ok onto today’s offering, Luca (my delish nephew) had a very busy weekend socializing and being carted off to various parties he had to attend.
He has 2 best friends and both of them celebrated their 4th birthday this weekend( so hard to believe they are four already). My sister asked me if I was up for doing a few cards for them and off I went.
This is Carmela’s card, she is an absolute doll and Luca adores her, they have been friends ever since they were born, well the mum’s started off as friends when they were the size of a loaf of bread so I should say they grew up to be friends. Anyway here’s the card
Can I just say that I just love this cutie?!!!!!! Made entirely out of punches it took 2 minutes and looks so fabby. I have to confess to the grass taking a bit longer though.
Is an easel card which means that you fold half a sheet of A4 in half, then the top half in half again.
Pretty in Pink layer measures 9.cmx 12.5cm
Whisper White layer is cut at 9cmx 12cm
I used a punched scallop circle shape and a dauber to sponge a sky over the white layer before adhering to the pretty in pink one.
To make the lady bird/bug if you live in the US, I punched a 1 3/4” circle in real read and one in basic black. Use the largest hole on your crop o dile to punch a few holes for the black spots then mount the two circles together. Make a straight cut at the bottom. Punch a 3/4”circle in basic black then punch some curved shapes for the antena’s. Two small black circles made with the crop o dile finish those off nicely. Add 2 googly eyes and you’re done.
To make the grass you will need a strip of old olive measuring 9cm x 4cm, cut the grass using a pair of snips, adhere to the white panel then slide the ladybird behind it slightly.
Next I made a sign using a coffee stirrer stick and the cute sign from the Party This Way stamp set. I have to say when the new StampinUp catalogue came out last year this wasn’t a stamp set on my list, but I got it free at Convention and I have used it lots since, just goes to show huh?
The layers for the bottom of the easel are as follow:
Old Olive 10.5cmx6cm you will want to ass a decorative edge here using the scallop trim border punch.
Pretty in pink designer paper 10.5cm x 4cm
You will also need a scallop circle shape in bashful blue and a 13/8”circle shape in white to stamp your number on.
Stamp the sentiment on a thin strip of whisper white and you are done.
Hope you enjoyed my ladybird and hope you will have an enjoyable rest of the weekend. Till next time hugs xx

Baby Boy Christening- SPECIAL BLESSINGS
I was asked to make a Christening card a few weeks back and I am sharing it with you all today. I am doing it a bit differently and I would love to ask for your opinion.
Today I will include the measurements and a basic * how to*, I would be grateful if you let me know if this is something you might like to see in the future with my cards or if you are happy with just a supply list. Thank you
I used the same square layout you have seen on my blog a few weeks back, as I think it works so well and is so easy when you’re a bit stuck for inspiration. Is also perfect for those symmetry freaks .
Here’s my dimensions for the layers in case you want to give it a go yourself this weekend.
The baja breeze card blank measure 15cmx15 cm
Cut 4 squares of crumb cake card at 6.5cm x 6.5cm,
Cut 4 more squares of designer paper(elegant soiree) at 6cm x 6cm
Adhere the small squares together and run them through the vintage wallpaper embossing folder
Sponge the edges with Crumb cake ink and adhere to your card blank.
For the focal panel cut a square of baja breeze card stock at 8.5cm x 8.5cm
Cut a square of whisper white card at 8cmx8cm
Stamp the dove from the Special Blessings stamp set in Crumb Cake ink and the cross separately in Soft suede ink. Cut the cross out and mount on the white panel using dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment from Hopeful Thoughts in Soft Suede ink and mount on top of the baja breeze layer. Punch two more flowers in baja breeze card using the Itty Bitty punch and adhere to the cross.
Wrap some baja breeze seam binding around the base of the card then mount the focal panel on top using dimensionals. To crumple the seam binding simply leave the ends a bit longer and spritz with some water then fold tightly in your hands to crumple it well. Works a treat and it looks fab too. I used a small button on the knot and stuck it down with 2 glue dots.
Here’s the supply list
PAPER: baja breeze, crumb cake and whisper white cardstock, elegant soiree designer paper
STAMP SETS: special blessings, hopeful thoughts
INKS: crumb cake, soft suede
TOOLS: itty bitty punch, big shot, vintage wallpaper embossing folder, dauber for sponging the edges
EMBELISHMENTS : rhinestones, baja breeze seam binding, button.
I hope you will have a fabulous weekend see you again very soon. till then big hugs xxx

Strength and Hope sympathy
Hello there how is your week going? not long and is the weekend again and for us is good news as the weather is picking up which should be nice seeing as is Summer!!.
We had some sad news and another sympathy card was needed this week. The dad of our next door neighbour lost his battle with cancer the other day.
I do not like making these type of cards but I do not think anyone does but I made this card to send to his grieving wife.
I chose to use the charity Strength and Hope stamp set from Stampin’Up’s mini catalogue and my fave neutral Sahara Sand.
As for the layout I decided to have a few different elements grouped together, I didn’t planned it this way it happened as I was deciding, once again it took far longer than I wanted it to take, simple designs are far harder to get right I think.
The butterfly and the circle HOPE medallion have been raised on 3d dimensionals and the sentiment was stamped in black . A few rhinestones were added and some organza ribbon.
Here’s the recipe:
Paper: Sahara Sand and Whisper White card
Stamps: Strength and Hope, Hopeful Thoughts
Ink: Sahara Sand, Basic Black
Tools: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, 1 1/4”circle punch, 1 3/8” circle punch
Accessories: Organza ribbon, rhinestones
Right I better go and get the tea ready, thank you for stopping by till next time Big Hugsxx
ps. Don’t forget about my marker share, read all about it HERE.

Belated Birthday and a MARKER SHARE..
Hello there how are you today? Is been raining here for the last 5 days and I am a bit fed up of so much water if I’m honest.
I have a cute card today to share with you, it was my friend’s birthday yesterday and the plan was that I would pop round with the card when I got home from work, I even had a half card started it only needed finishing off. Well the plans soon went out the window and the short of it is that I never made it yesterday , so this morning I was determined that I would make her a different card. You see I wanted to use this cute stamp set for ages and finally I got the chance.
I love this set from Stampin’Up! hostess plan is called Long Fellows. Is cute and fun for the young at heart.
Ruby isn’t a girly girl she excels at football and loves all kind of sports so I chose vibrant colours instead of pinks, I think she will approve.
The cute little tortoise was coloured using the fabulous markers
These are more true to the actual colour not sure what happen to the top picture the Pear Pizzaz green looks gray.
Here is the list of supplies
Paper; Peach Parfait, Tempting Turquoise and Pear pizzaz card stock, temp. turquoise dsp
Stamp sets: Hostess level 2 Long Fellows, Just Perfect Alphabet
Tools: Scallop border punch, 1” circle punch, 1 1/4” circle punch, marvellous markers
Accessories: Pear Pizzaz twill ribbon
I used a selection of markers to colour the tortoise and I have a share going at the moment that you might be interested in joining.
Mary one of my lovely customers would love to get her hands on the full set+the case so i promised I will start one. Here are the details
We need 4 people to join in, I order a full set of markers each month and split it between the participants. Each month each member gets a different colour collection until we all have the complete sets plus the fabulous marker case to share. Having the full set of markers is the best way to invest in your colour mediums. You can use the marker to ink your stamps, you can add more than one colour to your stamps using the markers, you can colour direct to paper with them, you can watercolour there are many uses for this fabulous pens and I can tell you that they are my most used I use them more than my big ink pads.
We need 2 more people to join and the price will be £23/month for 4 months.
If you wish to take a spot let me know by email telemch01at aoldotcom.
Till next time big Hugs xx

MAKE YOU OWN WEDDING STATIONERY
All of a sudden our car was worth £1,900 more .
So that worried me a bit all weekend as I didn’t know if they were still inside the car, (we had to drive here and there and I also held a class yesterday so had to drive to that), I didn’t know whether they were intact or mangled, anyway I am happy to say that they are now safe either side my eternity ring where they belong, the guy from our dealership took 5 minutes to take the middle compartment out and rescue them. Phew!!
Ok Friday I had the most lovely day crafting, chatting and relaxing with a sweet friend. Sally had a few birthdays to get ready for and she choose to make a card for her daughter first. Is a Teneale inspired project and she did a great job, I love this so much.
Simply Stunning card in shades of purple and soft nudes to match Vic’s bedroom colour scheme.
It has been requested by some of my blog readers that I provide a list of supplies for each project that I post. I used to name them in my posts before but I will listen and start listing them separately at the end of the photos so here it is:
Paper: Perfect plum, very vanilla, soft suede, perfect plum designer paper
Ink: Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant, soft suede, crumb cake
Stamp sets: French Foliage, Bella Toile, Notably Ornate, Curly Cute
Tools: Big Shot, Butterfly Bigz die, Beautiful Wings embosslit
Accessories: flat backed rhinestones, crumb cake seam binding
I love this section here, so much detail and the sponging is to die for.
While Sally created this masterpiece I went on and created some samples of pretty and simple wedding stationery for a future bride.
The brief: she likes the was gatefold type fold, blue is her chosen colour and there had to be butterflies.
This person is also someone that never created anything before so no crafty background hence they had to be easy to mass produce, look good and cost very little.
Here’s the few examples I played with
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist
Stamp sets: Wedding Sweet
Tools: Big Shot machine and Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder
Accessories: Flat backed rhinestones
Next example a simple No flutters one, needless to say she didn’t pick this one *smile*
Paper: Whisper White, Marina Mist
Stamp sets: Wedding Sweet
Tools: Big Shot machine and Manhattan Flower embossing folder
Accessories: Flat backed rhinestones
Another gatefold example this time incorporating hand stamping
Paper: Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Ink: Baja Breeze , Basic Black
Stamp sets: Wedding Sweet
Tools: Paper trimmer
Accessories: Flat backed rhinestones
And the one that made it and my favourite as well
Paper: Whisper White, Baja Breeze
Ink: Crumb Cake and Basic Black
Stamp sets: Wedding Sweet
Tools: Paper trimmer, Big Shot machine, Beautiful wings embosslits die
Accessories: Flat backed rhinestones
I will show you the complete range as soon as I finish them, everything will coordinate beautifully, from the RSVP cards to the menus and order of service, the bride will even incorporate the same butterflies throughout the room decor and flower centrepieces. The bride will also get a step by step video to follow while making each of the projects. Mission accomplished methinks.
Ok see you again soon thank you for visiting till next time ,Big hugs xxx

BIRTHDAY PASSIONETTE
Is Clair’s HAPPY DAY today another of my dear Passionettes!! Clair lives all the way down in Brighton and we very rarely get to meet, she is a fabulous crafter and her workshops are very popular. Her favourite colour is yellow and boy do i like it as well. Is bright and warm and it makes you stand out a mile long when wearing it. The card I made her was inspired by one I have seen on Teneale’s blog a while ago. I almost wanted to case it entirely it was so beautiful, but I refrained from it and went at it my own way.
Did your eyes danced just then? it is bright and quite busy but I like how it turned up.
The Stampin Up mini catalogue is full of delicious stamp sets and the Sew Lovely stamp set is one of them, very trendy as well. The medallion stamped in black was positioned behind the main panel. I used another gorgeous stamp set that I cannot seem to work well with inspite of loving it lots is the new French Foliage stamp set. I got this set free from Stampin’Up! when the mini came out (yes as a demonstrator I earn nearly all my stamp sets for free and you can too just ask me how), and every time I set to make something it ends up wrong, I will persevere though.
Here’s a close up of the card
The gorgeous designer paper used to piece one the manikins is from the Greenhouse Gala collection and the black and white on from the Newsprint collection. I have used Sahara Sand ink for the script text and basic gray and basic black for everything else. Sentiment is from the fabulous Curly Cute stamp set, daffodil delight satin ribbon tied in a full bow adds a touch of opulence.
I hope you all like it but more importantly I hope Clair likes it, have a fabulous day Clair and HAPPY BIRTHDAY sweetheart !!
Right I have a table to prepare for my sweet friend Sally and I. Have a great weekend see you again very soon. Till then big hugs x

Peterborough Christmas in July Team Event
My title should have said NO VIDEO again !!! I do like to post a fun video of what we have been up to during these fun days but unfortunately I had a bit of technology malfunction this time round and I haven't got any video footage to share with you. And to make it worst I didn’t take any pictures either , I just didn't have time to.
I do however have plenty of pictures to share with you of the cute projects we did on the day. Our theme was Christmas so everything from the swaps to the projects were Christmas orientated. The swaps and demo booths were amazing and will share those with you another time. For now here’s the projects everyone did on the day.
Our first card was made with the Holiday Hoopla stamp set. I love it but the sample does look a bit worse for wear, I should photograph samples before the event not after LOL.
Cherry Cobbler card base, Jolly holly designer paper, baja breeze seam binding.
Next the star of the show, the cutest 3D item made with our pillow die, scallop circle die and punches.
Everybody loved this sweet hanging treat, it was my favourite project as well. I have cased it from one similar made by LeeAnn Greff a fellow US demonstrator.
The next card was an elegant affair in Baja Breeze
I love this card and I think the attendants on Sunday did as well. Contempo Christmas stamp set and the sentiment from the Gifted stamp set. The music wheel was used to add a background behind the frame, which was made using the new decorative label punch. We edged the frame with ultra fine silver glitter for sparkle and glamour. Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla.
Next a fabulous twisted card holder that Bekka designed for us all, jolly holly holiday papers, it looks very impressive yet quite easy to construct, FUN.
And lastly a gorgeous album that I have cased from a talented German demonstrator M. Almasi. It uses my favourite stamp set Welcome Christmas
and here’s the inside
we had a fabulous day but then we always do, there is nothing more fun than sharing and seeing everyone bond and form friendships over this amazing hobby, I am truly blessed and very lucky for having Stampin’Up! in my life which brings me in contact with so many amazing women that I am honoured to call friends. Did you know that July is the best month to sign up as a demonstrator? I would love to welcome you to our team of Passionettes.
Email me if you are interested, I would love to have a no pressure chat with you about it.
I hope you liked our projects and please come back tomorrow as I have another special team birthday to announce. Till then big hugs xxx

Birthday Passionette and VIDEO…
Today however I want to shout about Tara’s Happy Day and her special card. Tara is a lovely friend and team member, she works full time and has a young family to look after so she is not a business orientated demo but a valued member of our team nevertheless.
Tara loves purple and once again I had a challenge on my hands. This time though I turned to my trusty Colour Coach for a suitable purple combination. And guess what? I have found a firm favourite!! I know!! me and purple can now be friends.
Blushing Bride, Perfect Plum and Sahara Sand. I love the softness of this combo and if you haven’t tried our Square Lattice embossing folder yet then you must get it as soon as you can. I am addicted to it, as I arranged those designer paper squares on my cardstock I wasn’t that sold on the whole look of this card but as soon as I run the whole layer through this folder I was WOW’ed and this was the point I fell in love with the scheme and went for it.
The beautiful stem on my focal panel comes from the Sweetheart stamp set and was stamped in Sahara Sand ink, this is another neutral that stole my attention lately I seem to choose it over Crumb Cake right now, is very pretty. The sentiment comes from the Perfect punches set and it was punched out with the large Oval punch a layer of blushing bride cardstock was punched with the scallop oval punch, I love how Stampin'Up! punches work so well together.
And then there was the lush flower head made with the gorgeous Fancy Flower punch. I think I added 5 layers of perfect plum cardstock punched flowers and held them together with a filigree brad ( I got this idea from my uber talented friend Jenny Moors, thank you lovely Jen :).
A few rhinestones and some white organza ribbon finished this little masterpiece off. I had a very sweet message from Tara this morning saying she loved it so that was nice feedback.
TARA I hope you will enjoy the rest of your special day my love and HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!
Now get me! before I cleaned my desk I have made another card slightly different for a new friend.
Such pretty colours they really make me smile .
I hope you enjoyed my offering today and here’s the video on the paper roses featured in this post, thank you for bearing with me. Enjoy and see you again very soon, till then big hugs xxx

Little Additions, and NO VIDEO :(
You know the video? well I am jinxed as I have done it (a lot later than I wanted to but I did it) however I am having real trouble uploading it to You Tube tonight( it has failed twice already) and I have to call it a day because I have a long drive tomorrow(scheduled post remember) and is nearly midnight, I need to be fresh and on form, please bear with me I will come back to it, I promise. Meanwhile I still have something crafty for you.
I was commissioned to make this card a few weeks ago now but I had so many celebrations to show on here I just didn’t have the chance to share it yet.
I love the Little Additions set, I have to confess to not owning any baby sets from the current catalogue apart from the tees wheel, BUT when I saw this lovely set in the new mini catalogue I just couldn’t say no, it is very modern and versatile as you can use it for so many other occasions no just babies.
And I went pink MAD when choosing my combo!!!! I just couldn’t decide on one pink and went for three pinks instead with a touch of Soft Suede added to the mix. Colours I have used are Pretty in Pink , Regal Rose and hot Melon Mambo.
I went for an easel card and the top note die is just perfect for this type of cards, just how gorgeous it looks on there? I love this die!!
The bunting was stamped in alternate colours and a tiny gem was placed in between each one. The cot was stamped an cut out then raised of the main panel for extra interest same with the blocks too.
I love the * It’s a girl* tiny sentiment and was so pleased to found that it fitted inside the tiny tag perfectly, this was added to the stamped bunting again for added interest.
The word BABY was spelled using the fabulous Broadsheet Alphabet and pretty in Pink satin ribbon tied the whole look together.
I hope you like my Sunday offering and once again sorry to disappoint re the video but I am sure you won’t have to wait more than one day.
Have a relaxing day and see you again tomorrow, guess what? is a team celebration again wooohooo, till then big hugs xx

Birthday Passionette
Well guess what? Another Passionette celebrates her happy day today!! Is Erika !!! Me and Erika have known each other for years and she transitioned from being my best customer to being my downline. Erika loves colour purple so I had to push myself as I find this colour the hardest to work with. I chose a combo of Concord Crush and River Rock.
the stamp image is the level 1 hostess set Because I care, I have to say this has been such a popular set this year with my hostesses, the hydrangea head is gorgeous. I coloured it with a mixture of Baja Breeze, Elegant Eggplant and river rock. I have also added a dot of white signo pen in the centre of the tiny flowers maybe you can see it better in this picture
I added half of a top note shape behind the flower panel in baja breeze just to tie the colouring from the flower really. The stripy river rock layer comes from the designer paper stack and I added Erika’s monogram using the fabulous Broadsheet alpha. Concord crush ribbon matches the main panel of designer paper and tiny rhinestones have been added for extra sparkle.
Erika hope your day is filled with joy and see you again very soon.
Right back to work for me now, enjoy your day and see you next time.
Till then big hugs xx

Birthday Passionette-Nature Walk
Kate is a fairly new demonstrator who started really strong, and loves her Stampin'Up! journey, I hope it will take her to the heights she has set. Kate loves the colour green and there’s only one green for me right now, Wild Wasabi. I simply love this colour, is fresh and cool and it suits my mood. I have paired it with Baja Breeze ( I am using this colour far to much as well lately) and Basic Gray.
I have crammed so much on here that at one point I didn’t know how I will make it all work LOL
I am also using up more papers lately, here I have used the gala greenhouse one. The friendship wheel was wheeled across a piece of basic grey card in black ink.
I die cut a scallop circle and using the crop o dile I have punched out a circle inside each scallop, I know a bit fiddly but Kate is so worth it . Next a white circle was embossed using the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and it got adhered to the grey one.
Stamped the birdcage from Nature’s Walk and cut out. I popped it on some dimensionals and used a row of tiny pearls to add as rope from the 3D roses and leaves.
I had a go at circle roses and they were not that easy, the concept is very easy but I think I need to practise a bit more.
Kate hope you had a fabulous day, HAPPY BIRTHDAY my lovely.
Today I took a decision that I would give up my day job and take Stampin’Up! on a full time basis. My notice went in and depending how quick we can find and train someone to take over my position I should start working from home full time in about a month’s time. I am so excited now the deed has been done although I am a bit scared and I know I will miss all my lovely colleagues. I know SU will keep me plenty busy and I am looking forward to it already, you should be happier here with more posts at least .
Right got to go and answer some emails, I will see you again soon with yet another Birthday Passionette card.
EDITED TO ADD. I had so many emails about those roses I decided to shoot a video, enjoy !!!
Till next time Big Hugs xxx
